istockguy: NHRX: I have played the stock and the warrants in the past. I recommend the NHRXW warrants for the added leverage. Almost no premium in them at this level.
I don't own it right now. No profits!
stock peeker: if the pres. had ballz, he would push the US towards a faster use and adoption of alternative energy sources and the development of them. this would piss off his oil buddies, and most likely shorten his life span. capping gas prices does not work. gas prices go up and people stop driving as much.... that's a good thing in my view.
ksuave: I say this is a fascinating topic and glad that you posted it, we should explore it fully.
Please take the other side.

BATON ROUGE, LA. – The White House announced today that President Bush has successfully sold the state of Louisiana back to the French at more than double its original selling price of $11,250,000.
“This is a bold step forward for America,” said Bush. “And America will be stronger and better as a result. I stand here today in unity with French Prime Minister Jack Shiraq, who was so kind to accept my offer of Louisiana in exchange for 25 million dollars cash.”
The state, ravaged by Hurricane Katrina, will cost hundreds of billions of dollars to rebuild.
“Jack understands full well that this one’s a ‘fixer upper,’” said Bush. “He and the French people are quite prepared to pump out all that water, and make Louisiana a decent place to live again. And they’ve got a lot of work to do. But Jack’s assured me, if it’s not right, they’re going to fix it.”
The move has been met with incredulity from the already beleaguered residents of Louisiana.
“Shuba-pie!” said New Orleans resident Willis Babineaux. “Frafer-perly yom kom drabby sham!”
However, President Bush’s decision has been widely lauded by Republicans.
“This is an unexpected but brilliant move by the President,” said Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist. “Instead of spending billions and billions, and billions of dollars rebuilding the state of Louisiana, we’ve just made 25 million dollars in pure profit.”
“This is indeed a smart move,” commented Fox News analyst Brit Hume. “Not only have we stopped the flooding in our own budget, we’ve made money on the deal. Plus, when the god-awful French are done fixing it up, we can easily invade and take it back again.”
The money gained from 'The Louisiana Refund' is expected to be immediately pumped back into the rebuilding of Iraq.

Cramer: AOB: Well the real issue here is that Cramer does not have any "friends/relatives" with long positions that are looking for the "dump". He does not want to waste a pump on something without the dump.
I wonder how old buddy Spitzer has his election fund invested? Hoku? N? who knows what evil lurks in the past of Cramer?
That oil painting in the background of himself, he is the true definition of "P U T Z"
lol
EKCS - The Rodney Dangerfield of the Security Business. Sequentially improving revenues, profits and outlook in a needed hot sector. Terrorism is not going away and yet nobody believes this company. A recent statement indicated that Barchenko is hoping to unload some of the sales responsibilites to others within the organization, that should lead to this becoming a real respectable company.
Rivera:
1. Non story, who cares. Why is Rivera filming himself as a hero? Big EGO, always had one, still does.
2. Times reporter may have blown it. Not very important, minor story, they hate O'reilly anyway.
3. ANYONE WHO WATCHES THE ABUSER O'REILLY IS NUTS. THE B.A.S.T.A.R.D PAID OFF HIS EMPLOYEE TO DROP THE ALLEGED SEXUAL ALLEGATION/ABUSE STORY. GUILTY AS CHARGED, WHY DO PEOPLE LET HIM GET AWAY WITH IT. I USED TO WATCH HIM AND THEN STOPPED WHEN HE PAID OFF.
fair and balanced...LOL
OT: Rruff, are you being a bit rough! LOL ... When people start to think that earning 200% a year, every year with any sized portfolio is real... Then it is a sure sign of a nearing market top. When they start quitting the day job to get in on this sure thing, then look out below.
I wish I could have a guaranteed 20% return every year since I started investing. Then I would be relaxed and retired.
EKCS 10K out: If my math is correct they showed a profit for the 6/30 qtr of $136K reducing annual loss to $321K . Two quarters of profits in a row, not sure if my heart can handle it! LOL
Len: Years of alcohol and drug abuse will do this to you. I know many who have gone through it.
However, as I have said before, Bush gives the IMPRESSION that he is NEVER in a hurry to do anything. He appears to be slow and lackadaisical in his decision making process. That appearance is going to contribute to his problems with NO.
Len: then they should..... run for President. LOL LOL
I agree with your post, but it does not seem like the ideas of a true conservative, at least as I understood them. I have always been troubled by the disparity of wealth between the poor and wealthy.
I am a true independent!

Does anyone know anything about this company? The technology seems interesting, but I have no clue if it will fly. I found out that I own a few non trade-able shares and was considering a few trade-able ones. Share price and volume has been erratic to say the least. LOL
stock peeker: I almost agree with you about the rants. However it is a place for VM'ers to rant, and you could just stop reading the posts! This board was set up just for the purpose it is being used for.
Len: You said I was nutty as a fruitcake, how come Rogue gets off easy. I was only talking about Walmart!!!
LOL
Len: Water receding: I wonder how much of what is left will need mold remediation services (PDGE). I would guess that much of the area will need bulldozer vs. fix up.
C|001: Pattern Day Trading, it's early on the West Coast. Just to correct my prior post, Pattern Day Trading kicks in when you buy/sell in the same day, does not apply to your situation with TDW (soon to be Ameritrade) Good Luck.
c|001 : Re trading in IRA: do you have over 25K in the account? If so you should have been ok, otherwise they consider you a Pattern Day Trader and the rules would prohibit you from doing what you did.
At least that is how I understood it. I keep money in a non sweep money market at Schwab and will get a warning message sometimes if I attempt a trade without sufficent sweep funds or cash available.
NHRXW: 45% move up today.. don't know why. Wts have doubled since recent lows in the 90's. Still think this goes to $3.00 again, would not buy unless it drops back somewhat today. Has partnerships with major health care providers to handle the Prescription Drug benefits and medical supplies.

OT LEN: I don't even like fruitcake. Walmart has nothing that I want or need.
I prefer small mom & pop stores. That is the backbone of our country. Walmart is nothing more than a sales agent for everything made cheap from China. When the day comes that all we are made up of is Superstores, then I want out!
Remember I just got here, Walmart is 12 miles from me. And it would be nice if it stayed that way. ((OTCBargins - Fred Meyer is the other store you refer to and the prices are hardly double Walmart))
I can walk to a local market and get what I need. I don't have to fill up the gas tank and could easily survive without a car if I wanted to.
The real point is, I would not buy WMT
Len.Tin.Man - You are the ultimate cheapie. LOL
Walmart sells "necessities", most of the crap in Walmart is just that "crap". How many plastic crappy toy's do we really need. How many shirts that you can wash 5 times before they fall apart do you really buy?
The upper middle class can pay $3.00 per gallon and still shop upscale, maybe with some restraint. They won't be caught shopping at Walmart. Think of what the neighbors would say.
Walmart is pretty much everywhere in the USA, except for the places that are fighting against them coming here, like Portland. Low margin merchandise, that they can only squeeze the vendors so hard before they go under. I think you have posted to that effect in the past.
From my 3 years of living near Walmart, I don't own anything that still works or has not rusted within one season (think patio furniture).
I would not be buying Walmart, nor any other retailer at this point in the economic cycle. Well maybe some of the electronic retailers for the holiday sales, but I sure would not want to own them into 2006.

Len: You don't address what happens if you bang up your Saturn @ 100 mph in the left lane passing me. Assuming of course that you can't execute "plan b".
Katrina: Interesting to note how infrequent the weather guy's actually predict the storms path and intensity correctly. It is somewhat of a joke and I doubt they will ever be able to really know. Glad to be far away from Florida.
FROM NY TIMES STORY TODAY (don't know if it means anything to EKCS)
Officials unveiled the high-tech future of transit security in New York City yesterday: an ambitious plan to saturate the subways with 1,000 video cameras and 3,000 motion sensors and to enable cellphone service in 277 underground stations - but not in moving trains - for the first time.
Lockheed Martin will work with six partners, including Systra Engineering, a transportation engineering firm in Bloomfield, N.J.; the Intergraph Corporation, a software and data management company in Madison, Ala., and the Cubic Corporation of San Diego, a transportation and military business that helped establish the MetroCard system in the subways in the 1990's.
The other partners are Lenel Systems International, a security technology company in Rochester; Arinc, a transportation communications firm in Annapolis, Md.; and Slattery Skanska, part of the large Swedish construction firm Skanska.

EKCS: From today's news release -
Arthur Barchenko, CEO of ECSI, said, ``All nuclear power stations are mandated to upgrade security to address the current threat. There are now over thirty nuclear power stations utilizing our technology, again confirming that our products and services continue to meet current Homeland Security demands. Our recognition in the nuclear industry continues as a quality provider.''
This may take some time to eat through the overhang, but at the end of the day (or year, decade...etc)EKCS should prove to be a long term winner. Nuclear power will have to grow to overcome the oil woes.
OT: tmcal6: Motorcycle on GG bridge. To windy and cold. Used to do that when I lived in SF. A very scary ride when the fog surrounds you and the temp is 40 degrees without the wind. Best of luck... stick with the car!

Len Said "sooner the animosity toward us gluttonous pigs will reach a point of no return"...
Don't you think that other countries, such as China have the will and the way to overtake us. Which in turn will make them OUT Glutton US. If we live so long, and don't blow each other up, others will eventually catch up.
I agree completely that we are a wasteful society. 95% of the crap we/I buy is totally useless s**t that we/I did not need 40 years ago. Some call it progress, old farts like us call it waste.
Have a great weekend .. think I will buy a jet ski! LOL (joke)
Bobwins = Options: The old saying goes - "Option traders die broke"
Of course living richly is the key, dying broke is your offsprings problem. LOL
covered call writing is as far as I will venture anymore with options!
Keep in mind that America the land of the free was founded because the inhabitants desired to be rid of England and it's oppresive rule!
Democracy was born from within. Nobody came here and forced it upon the people. We enlisted the aid of the French, they did not hate us so much then. lol
GWB said he would not be Nation Building. Oops.
Anyway, I support our Troops, just not the Old Farts who sent them into harms way. I would have focused soley on Bin Laden and would have heavily armed and financed the exiled Iraqi people who were willing to go and fight. OOPS again, they just told lies and were to cowardly to actually go and fight.
bucfan: That sounds like good news/good news to me.

I can drag and drop your comments from your post into a note. I can then make my comments in the note and continually come back to the note and add to it. Later on I can then link back to the original source post. You can also use it for just about any other source of info on your computer or the internet.
I am just starting to use it, so I don't know it's true power.

OT: Many moons ago I asked a question on RB Value Micro board about a good note program to track info on stocks. FOUND IT.
Wall street journal profiled Evernote.com today. Just started using it. If you drag text from a posted message on IHUB into a new note, you can then go back to the source at a later time by clicking on the link.
Hopefully others will try this and report back to get a handle on how cool this is.
TOF: profitable, stock buyback program inplace, earnings increasing although muted by new product development cost and advertising. similar situation to Skinny Cow ice cream before Dreyers bought them out. this maybe a long-term project.
i love the product - especially the newer items.
Anyone follow this stock??
