The smile was because I was thinking this would be a good image to post over at The Jailhouse for a particular inmate who likes "agitation".
AK
p.s. Why did I know some smarty pants was going to make a comment? (Thought it was going to come from Churak, though <g>.)
I'm not sure about Carolyn's new hot tub. Isn't there another one around here...
20 is a bit much for me...
Digr, a little gif(t) for you.
AK
Tequila?
Annie Python is older than she states
You mean this isn't her likeness?
She really is older?
Yes, Mr. Houston, the shower area is specially equipped. I'm sure Churak would provide a guided tour, had you but asked. Here's a few photos I found in a scrapbook in the Jailhouse library.
AK
Drain bamage you know!!
You started drinking at an early age, eh?
AK
You guys would not bother me if I was in Jail
Don't kid yourself. We will bother anybody who shows up. BTW, there are no "guards". There is Sheriff Matt, of course, but he is very serious, so it's up to the visitors keep things light. Then there is ex-Warden Fred (Koikaze) who has given his time when an inmate can use his special attention. Mr. Houston is sort of a jailhouse law'yur. Churak spends a lot of time in the Jailhouse shower room, but you have to visit the thread to find out what that's about. I guess I'm temporarily the thread's Social Worker, so I have to take extra abuse from Churak.
You are all welcome to come by and visit just to see what's happening, and Digr, my feelings are hurt, after all I did to welcome you there, but guess you were a bit dazed at the time.
The Jailhouse peanut gallery has some knowledge of the workings of iHub, so feel free to come by if you need help or someone to point you in the right direction.
Come take a peek...AK
Mr. Houston, are you going to tell Colleen how Churak was rehabilitated there? Personally, I think he is still a bit conflicted.
AK
Many of us hang out there because The Jailhouse needs a peanut gallery. Sheriff Matt hasn't been sending us enough inmates, so we try to have a good time while we are waiting for some. Annie came by, but hasn't come back lately; if she won't talk and make her case poor kid will never get out. Stop by and have a laugh. Lots of dirty pictures embedded in the posts <g>.
AK
Think fishy would like his own soap when he shows up here?
Or maybe this?
Or this?
That is Counselor Houston?
AK
I think that's what I said. lol You're wearing the tie, right? Just want hurricane to be able to find you.
AK
OMG. Poor Mooney, looks like the lawyers want to sue because his margin call depressed the stock price. Mooney exercises options with borrowed money, loses his stock because of the call, and Weiss sues too. Wonder if the CEO could be the "lead plaintiff" <g>.
===================
SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 1, 2002--Milberg Weiss (http://www.milberg.com/cases/omgroup/) today announced that a class action has been commenced in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio on behalf of purchasers of OM Group Inc. ("OM Group") OMG publicly traded securities during the period between July 30, 2002 and Oct. 30, 2002 (the "Class Period").
If you wish to serve as lead plaintiff, you must move the Court no later than 60 days from today. If you wish to discuss this action or have any questions concerning this notice or your rights or interests, please contact plaintiff's counsel, William Lerach or Darren Robbins of Milberg Weiss at 800/449-4900 or via e-mail at wsl@milberg.com. If you are a member of this class, you can view a copy of the complaint as filed or join this class action online at http://www.milberg.com/cases/omgroup/. Any member of the purported class may move the Court to serve as lead plaintiff through counsel of their choice, or may choose to do nothing and remain an absent class member.
The complaint charges OM Group and certain of its officers and directors with violations of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. OM Group produces and markets metal-based speciality chemicals and related materials. Certain of the Company's products are value-added and some are commodity. The complaint alleges that during the Class Period, defendants made false statements about the Company's business and prospects. After reporting somewhat disappointing 2ndQ 02 results, defendants told investors that its business was strong and all the indicators were for a good second half. As a result, OM Group stock continued to trade above $50 per share.
On 9/19/02, OM Group warned the 3rdQ 02 results would be slightly lower than prior statements, but that results would still be significantly higher than in the prior year. Then, on 10/29/02, OM Group announced a huge loss, an inventory write-down and a future restructuring. OM Group stock dropped to as low as $8.60 per share on volume of $22 million shares. Later, on 10/31/02, it was disclosed that OM Group's Chief Executive Officer had sold all his holdings to cover a margin call on some 710,000 shares on OM Group stock which he had used as collateral for a huge loan. On this news, the stock dropped even further to as low as $6.12 per share.
Plaintiff seeks to recover damages on behalf of all purchasers of OM Group publicly traded securities during the Class Period (the "Class"). The plaintiff is represented by Milberg Weiss Bershad Hynes & Lerach LLP, who has expertise in prosecuting investor class actions and extensive experience in actions involving financial fraud.
Milberg Weiss Bershad Hynes & Lerach LLP, a 170-lawyer firm with offices in New York, San Diego, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Boca Raton, Seattle and Philadelphia, is active in major litigations pending in federal and state courts throughout the United States. Milberg Weiss has taken a leading role in many important actions on behalf of defrauded investors, consumers, and companies, as well as victims of World War II and other human rights violations, and has been responsible for more than $30 billion in aggregate recoveries. The Milberg Weiss Web site (http://www.milberg.com) has more information about the firm.
...out looking for new meat
And this is how you do it?
Duct tape beer dispenser
Three retirees were out playing golf.
The first one said .........
"Today is windy, isn't it"
The second golfer replied, "Nope, it's Thursday."
To which the third man replied ......
"Yep, so am I. Let's go get a beer."
So that is why you are out pimping to get Augie over here? I hold no grudges Fred, I invited him: see #msg-563079.

Dear Mr. Koikaze,
While you have elegantly used the word "gay" in your poetic missive, I must warn you that inmate hurricaneJim is not so literate, and will unquestionably glom onto your use of that descriptor in a manner totally unintended by you. Because of your recent disappearance from this thread while you completed your course of study at the acronymium, you may not be aware of hurricaneJim's unhealthy fascination with Churak's soap bar, and his compulsion to project his latent oedipal conflicts onto others. I strongly suggest you be more sensitive so as to accommodate the linguistic challenges of this inmate. Further, you may not have noticed hurricaneJim's minimal computer skills, although he has mastered the "copy and paste" function from his dutiful library reading of Windows for Dummies, so I ask that you be more considerate of his limitations so as not to hurt his feelings.
Yours truly,
The Jailhouse
(by AK, temporary social worker in residence)
p.s. You might consider returning temporarily in the role of Warden, but polysyllabic writing would be inappropriate for the above referenced inmate.
only my wife is allowed to make my thingy go off
While ignoring your comment to Churak because he didn't know your wife is the only one with the number for your pager, as to the rest of your message, presumably aimed at Bob Z., you have ably described the lag time I also complained to Bob about.
AK
p.s. While my message to Bob was considerably shorter than yours, I am still amazed, given your profession, that you were as concise as you were.
Thanks for the info; hope they are 1/2 right <g>
"plotting" or "plodding"?
AK
I have not seen HoMoDo post here. All I see you do is re-post RB stuff. Why do you bother? You get something out of this?
hurricane is fixated on Churak's soap, you remember, the bar with the hole in the middle, and he does not seem disposed to conversation, intelligent or otherwise...
Churak, those are two syllable words -- you really don't want hurricane to understand, do you?
If you intend hurricane to understand it, you have to space it out into monosyllabic chunks...
I got the Beatles...gotta try the others...
hurricaneJim, what does the following word mean to you: ho'mo.pho'bic
Churak, you are so subtle -- please tell us how you really feel?
I think we have a winner!! Thanks Bob Z.
AK
p.s. Not to be ungrateful, how do we add our own .wav file?
Just don't let Churak get behind you...
Bob, taking a break? Funny hobby you have...
Could you please provide a link or source to your post? Thanks.
"Nope" as to the former, the latter, or both? <g>
B of A can have my shares for a lot less than $27 <g>.
AK
p.s. You SURE about that?
Churak, you are not keeping up.

The insider buying by Mooney was, by my reading of the SEC filings, attributable to his exercise of options, and this could explain, in part, the significant margin position that apparently trapped him. I did not check, but I would speculate that virtually all of the (other) insider buying was based on exercise of options, rather than open market purchases.

BoP, Bob has been tossing dwarfs for some time now. Notice Matt on the left counting his winnings. I believe there is a movement to outlaw this "sport". AK
Yes, and the photo shows you wearing it. Oh, speaking of teeth, I see you are using that dentist from the tattoo parlor -- nice cap!
