virtra is a player, present and future
here with virtra for a few years now and have rapidly been picking up cheep shares ever since kelly's departure. my investment is very large and am going to pick some more before it spikes to levels we haven't seen. The general is a great choice to get into the militaries back pocket and he'll do a great job wipping this company into shape. I have also been investing heavy in force protection(frpt)over the last few months. They have had incredible luck in penatrating there military niche market. I have a good feeling virtra systems will have a similar outcome. Where's waldo I meen our moderator gemmerling...are you still invested?
Good luck to all longs!!!

call jones and cannon!
INCREASE IN MARGIN COULD BE LINKED TO NO ADVERTISING OR PROMOTIONAL SALES. WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GROSS MARGINS FOR SIMULATORS TO IMMERSA DOMES?
I don't know how old this is but I found it today
http://www.hendonpub.com/publications/tacticalresponse/featuredarticle.asp
their have been many theories posted here why kelly resigned and suddenly. I believe kelly has known this for a while. this soon to be completed merger will make us a stronger, larger and more diversified company. a company that will ultimately move their corporate office to florida(sooner rather than later). I don't believe kelly or kimberly are willing to leave their home, offices of cannon and jones, and or families. therefore kelly resigned after the new cfo completed the 10 k filing. I expect kelly to be a consultant. anyone want to agree to disagree? I expect good things for 2006. how do you like them apples!!?
cheers,
Teeroy

TEEROY
gentlemen,
as we wait for news and the anticipated merger/ recapitalization i have been put together some circumstantial news together. Kelly has stated that he is anticipating a very quick start to the new year and has stated several times that the aquisition is set up on very favorable terms for the shareholders. i also e-mailed the otcjournal about the merger
his reply:
Editor: Some of the preliminary details I heard seemed very favorable, but I can’t comment accurately until I know the facts.
there was also a new recommendation from the otc journal coming out on january 2nd 2006 about a company with a clever ceo who is going to attempt to give a 350% divedend to it's shareholders.
also one definition of recapitalization: Companies that do not want to become hostile takeover targets might undergo a recapitalization by taking on a very large amount of debt, and issuing substantial dividends to their shareholders (this makes the stock riskier, but the high dividends may still make them attractive to shareholders).
well my thoughts are that the clever ceo is our kelly jones and if this is what pans out at the first of the year we may be sitting pretty.
here is the news/recommendation from the otc
The biggest one time dividend ever paid was $32 billion. Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) paid this special one time dividend in 2005. They simply had more cash than they knew what to do with, and decided to give a big slug of it to shareholders. Bill Gates is still the largest single shareholder, so the pay out benefited Gates most of all.
The amount paid on a per share basis was $3. Therefore, if you owned the stock at $30, you got a 10% one time dividend. If you owned it at $25, your yield was 12%. I'm sure there have been much higher one time distributions on a percentage basis, but no dollar amount larger than $32 billion by one company.
I have tried to research the issue, but have been unable to find the highest dividend ever paid on a percentage basis. It would depend on the level at which you owned the security. Some of the junk bonds born in the Michael Milken era were very cheap in the tech wreck of 2001 to 2003. The market priced those bonds as if every company was going out of business. Many did not default on their obligations. I would imagine there were some 30% to 40% coupons available to those who were willing to buy when Wall Street's irrational panic resulted in monetary blood in the streets.
If you happen to be familiar with the highest dividend ever paid, I would appreciate having the information. Email me at editor@otcjournal.com.
Knowing the highest dividend ever paid is handy, but doesn't put any money in your pocket.
I've come across a situation that might put a lot of money in your pocket. Would you believe a 350% dividend? Seems impossible. Too good to be true? Never happen. It does to me as well.
Nevertheless, I have come across a company with a very ambitious plan which could end up delivering a 350% dividend. In 20 years I've never heard of such an ambitious plan nor seen one executed.
A very clever CEO has devised a workable plan to unlock the value imbedded in his company's stock, and it could end up turning into a 350% dividend.
The one catch- you have to own this stock by the end of the trading day on January 11th. If you are a shareholder of record on the morning of January 12th, you will qualify.
It's pretty tricky and very unusual. I plan to kick the New Year off with this idea. I will publish all the details associated with the idea on Monday, January 2nd. This is a one time special situation event. If it works, you could make a substantial return with very little risk.
Stand by for details. I'll have them to you on Monday the 2nd, and I will republish the information again later in the week for those that might have missed it.
has anyone else thought this out
what do you guys think
thanks teeroy
recapitalization
Definition
A change in a company's capital structure, such as an exchange of bonds for stock. Recapitalization is often undertaken with the aim of making the company's capital structure more stable, and sometimes to boost the company's stock price (for example, by issuing bonds and buying stock). Companies that do not want to become hostile takeover targets might undergo a recapitalization by taking on a very large amount of debt, and issuing substantial dividends to their shareholders (this makes the stock riskier, but the high dividends may still make them attractive to shareholders). Also, bankrupt companies often undertake a recapitalization as a part of their reorganization process.
6) Merging companies already making sales to the U.S. military

Domen, I happen to be very excited about the potential uses of the "americas army" Gaming and training applications. Pick up the June issue of popular mechanics and you will find a two page article all about the game and how they intend to use it. The first page of the article has the game on a 180 degree screen that looks very simalar to virtras ivr system. The trainee is evaluating the gaming/training screens holding a m-16. The article never mentions who the simulator belongs to but appears to be virtras.
Please answer a couple of questions for me. Since you used the imersa-dome and have seen it in use, tell me if the edges of the screen are blurry and or distorted like paul p said? When you put the dome over your head would or could in your opinion easily use and maneuver a videogame controller?
thanks

ONLY 6.53 MILLION SHARES OUTSTANDING. DILUTION, I'M NOT WORRIED AT THIS POINT. 125,000 SHARES X $4.00=APPROX $500.000
I HAVE BEEN A PROUD STOCKHOLDER FOR MANY YEARS NOW. I HAVE PERSONALLY MET KELLY JONES, BOB FERRIS, MICHEAL KITCHEN, AND USED THE IVR SYSTEM AT THE MILITARY EXPO IN VIRGINIA. I WAS IMPRESSED!.
I CHECK THE I-HUB BOARD PERIODICALLY AND LATELY ITS BEEN FULL OF HARSH WORDS ABOUT THE PROGRESS IN EXECUTING THE COMPANIES BUSINESS PLAN. I BELIEVE THIS TEAM IS MAKING GREAT PROGRESS AND ESTABLISHING A SOLID FOUNDATION FOR REPEAT BUSINESS. GREAT PRODUCTS, NICHE MARKET, COMMUNICATION, DEVOTED EMPLOYEES AND DEDICATED CUSTOMER SERVICE ARE GOING TO MAKE THIS COMPANY VERY SUCCESSFULL. SOME POSTER(POSERS)DON'T REALIZE IT'S NOT HOW FAST P/R'S COME, IT'S THE QUALITY. RETAINING A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP IS OUR #1 GOAL. REPEAT BUSINESS AND WORD OF MOUTH ARE THE KEYS TO MORE PEVELANT SALES.
I WAS READING POPULAR SCIENCE AND FOUND AN INTERESTING GAMING HARDWARE COMPANY CALLED VRX(WWW.VRX.CA). I BELIEVE THAT THIS TYPE OF HARDWARE SUITES PERFECTLY FOR MANY IMMERSADOME APPLICATIONS
HERE IS A QUOTE FROM AN EMPLOYEE AT MICROSOFT GAMING STUDIOS WHO USED THIS PRODUCT. THE WORD IMMERSION IS USED SEVERAL TIMES.
"Recently, we tested the physics of Forza Motorsport against the real-world using real professional race car drivers. We wanted to control as many variables as possible by immersing the drivers in the virtual race car. The VRX was pivotal in creating this immersive experience. Racing in a simulator is all about immersion. As the Lead Designer on a racing simulator, I’m always looking for one more way to boost the immersion level for the player. As a result, I’ve looked at a lot of chairs and racing setups. The build quality on the VRX instantly impressed me. Too frequently, these setups shake or tip a bit when I really start getting into the racing experience. The VRX is really solid – the pedals and the wheel table are securely locked. My old setup is pretty sturdy, but it completely lacks the versatility. Because of the VRX design, it works great with any hardware. VRX is all I need for all my consoles and my PC. My old setup has a built in wheel. It didn’t work with my consoles and it became outdated in five years as better wheels came out. Besides, what could be more immersive than using a real Sparco racing seat? For my money, the VRX is the coolest and best put together I’ve seen.
