"Recently, we tested the physics of Forza Motorsport against the real-world using real professional race car drivers. We wanted to control as many variables as possible by immersing the drivers in the virtual race car. The VRX was pivotal in creating this immersive experience. Racing in a simulator is all about immersion. As the Lead Designer on a racing simulator, I’m always looking for one more way to boost the immersion level for the player. As a result, I’ve looked at a lot of chairs and racing setups. The build quality on the VRX instantly impressed me. Too frequently, these setups shake or tip a bit when I really start getting into the racing experience. The VRX is really solid – the pedals and the wheel table are securely locked. My old setup is pretty sturdy, but it completely lacks the versatility. Because of the VRX design, it works great with any hardware. VRX is all I need for all my consoles and my PC. My old setup has a built in wheel. It didn’t work with my consoles and it became outdated in five years as better wheels came out. Besides, what could be more immersive than using a real Sparco racing seat? For my money, the VRX is the coolest and best put together I’ve seen.
