I was going to buy more shares yesterday
but waited until today when the price went up, because obviously the higher the pps the better.
All this talk about increasing revenues, increasing sku's, expanding into other countries, building out Snakes into more than brick and mortar to consider dev and distro.. I just waited until the pps was higher. SO much easier than doing proper DD.
When I train I teach the difference between
"Ship by any means" and "If it's not right, don't ship it!"
It's pretty basic stuff and a concept that 99% of reasonable people grasp quite easily. Generally the ones that don't are just argumentative and they will never outwardly accept anything you try to teach them.
Ah well.
Love that support showing the L2! Just keep sucking up those shares!
Blatantly obvious. Not even subtle any more
Something's coming.
From that same article..
"Activision trades at just over 2X 2012 estimated revenues. Electronic Arts trades at 1.7x times the same estimate. Non-publisher game companies, where revenues may often come from a single title, will have even lower price/revenue multiples. Conversely, the game companies that get higher multiples are ones that own more of a publishing/distribution platform, such as TenCent in China. These companies are able to extract rent from whatever the hot game happens to be, and are therefore less vulnerable to “hit” risk."
(My emphasis)
Sounds a bit like Amfil Tech, no?
Wish I had more powder right now :(
Multiple locations wouldn't necessarily all be ready simultaneously
And even with just two or, maybe, three training teams, a number of locations can be trained as they need it. I don't know how long the training runs for, but it's not too difficult to imagine a number of locations opening at roughly the same time without training needs conflicting.
To piggyback off your D&B comment, this happened...
"On September 11, 2018, the Company’s Board of directors initiated a quarterly cash dividend of $0.15 per common share"
No reason why we couldn't see the same thing here!
$1 of growth is worth more than $1 sales
at this stage of the game. If solid growth can be made early, then long term it will pay off immensely.
It's disheartening, obviously, when things aren't being SEEN to be done, or taken care of, but when a company is bought out, it generally runs the way it always has, but benefits from (perhaps) a bigger network, fresh blood, a refocusing of direction leading to more motivation... There are lot's of plus points to this, even if on the outside things don't look as if they are moving much.
If Amfil Tech can grow relatively painlessly right now, then the long-term prospects are far more attractive. We feel the pain in the lower share price, but also know that this is not a true reflection of the company's current strength.
At least for one person on this board
it will provide a vital piece of DD when it comes to discussing the pros and cons of AMFE.
Hell if I had the money I'd buy a hell of a lot more than just 260 at that price!
Absolutely ridiculous.
Both Vertical and Rotary are a good option
These two allow for the most concentrated ozone/air mix, and therefore the most effective. As ozone is heavier than air, any distribution system that can pump ozone onto plants should work to clean both the product and the surrounding air of bacteria and other growth, though obviously the larger the area the less impact it will have.
I really don't think we can lose whatever company Amfil invests in. We have groundbreaking equipment that is going to be in high demand once growers understand that they simply will not be able to get away with pesticides (or anything that leaves a residue, if you are a purist) for much longer.
It is a bit of a wrinkle, but...
The sentiment is justified. It would be nice to say we've sold units to a 3rd party, if Kalvara is not acquired (and I have no idea if that is going to be the way they go with the acquisition or not ;) ), and it certainly looks good as a headline!
IMO the best way to go with this, if the ONLY two options are:
a) Buy out Kalvara
b) Leave them alone and sell them the GRO3 units
would be a.
We then have another company under our umbrella, which would then become a dominant force (probably leader) in its field. The sales of the units would go ahead regardless, but to your point, it does look better if we've sold them to 'another company', rather than to 'one of our own'.
Snakes = dominant force
GRO3 = dominant force
Kalvara (?) = dominant force
It's import for Roger to look at acquisitions that provide us not only with a foothold in an industry but which will allow us to quickly become a market leader. Let's work on being the shepherd, not the sheep.
I'd still like to see GRO breaking off the same way IK is slated to do. I'm sure it'll happen as things grow.
A sad picture indeed, for anyone holding VPLM
AMFE all the way!
Another meetup in Tempe on 20th
and if I remember correctly, I think there's another game designer's night before the end of January
Great menu and going to get better.
I spoke to the manager onsite on Sunday who said that the menu was getting a revamp, and will also include gluten free options (they have a couple now but they aren't specified on the menu).
The loaded poutine is amazing!
I did. But I have a confession
I have NO idea what VWAP is and I think (I might be mistaken) I did ask for an explanation, but never got one, as to what it was and why it was important.
Anyway, it's clearly vital, and I'm sorry for missing it from my previous post so I'll try and cover it here...
AMFE VWAP is TERRIBLE
no
AMFE VWAP is BAD
ermm..
Actually AMFE VWAP is looking decent.. no.. now it's change to f'ing amazing!
Whatever that all means ;)
You miss him dearly--I can help
Roger has taken AMFE from 0.25 to 0.05
no 0.07
no...
0.08
Ah cr@p, this isn't working...
And here's some future predictions.
Roger has taken AMFE from 0.25 to 0.26
no 0.47
no 0.83
And so on...
Roger has taken AMFE from 6's to 8's
in just three days!
AMFE:The "don't NEED to do Financials" stock
and even without them it's climbing. When they finally come out--hold on!
Whether you are pro- or con-AMFE...
Happy New Year to you!
May 2019 bring everything you deserve.
Just drove past S&L Tempe
It was busy! Heading there tomorrow for lunch and some game time!
Sorry dealer
apparently you're wrong, according to some.
Every company is about to go out of business. I'm going to sell all my shares in AMFE at midday today.
I wish mine did.
Often I would see my company dipping into the red when I had to make big stock and equipment purchases, but then it bounced back up over the following months when I saw the income from said purchases.
Oh to have been in the black 100% of the time from start up!
I sold it in the end, and made a profit. So much for operating in the red during growth periods!
Happy to help, however...
It's just your opinion and, no disrespect meant, in the grand scheme of things, it's just your opinion and holds no weight.
My opinion might be that AMZN stock price will start to drop, never recover, and they'll go out of business. But that not in the slightest bit valuable because I have nothing to back it up with. It's JUST an opinion, and let's be real, based on what I know of Amazon as a company, it's not going to come to fruition. It's just my opinion, and as just an opinion with no support it, it too holds no weight whatsoever.
IF pps was all that mattered
(It's not, as you know, but let's keep playing that game)
then we're actually up over two years. You can't keep picking dates and suggesting those numbers are all that matters.
No argument
Just out of context, and therefore misleading.
From a Snakes POV it should help.
When markets drop and people can't afford luxuries, they'll turn to the things they they CAN afford and that will boost moral.
Time with friends, fun, laughter. Everything you can get visiting a Snakes & Lattes.
It's not about how small it can go
There's a balance to be struck between cost of packaging and what someone is willing to pay. Psychologically the bigger the box, the more you are ok with spending the money.
Small boxes will be cheaper, obviously, but then they aren't as eye catching, and you don't feel you are getting your money's worth.
Take Munchkin, for example. It's a relatively small amount of cards that do NOT need a box they have, but from a marketing perspective it's a good call.
More on the production side of board games
Great watch if you are interested in the production of a board game:
You're right
1 million shares to a company like that really isn't a big deal, and congrats on securing that yourself.
However the fact that they actually did invest in Amfil Tech IS a big deal. If they thought it a bad investment then they wouldn't have bought a single share.
Some comments get more ridiculous every day.
So, based on that, if I had bought in at a penny, and now I sell at 0.06, it would have been a mistake?
Help me out here, NJ, 'cos apparently I've been coming at this entire 'buy low sell high' thing all wrong!
Thank you!
A post that is sincerely appreciated, and I'd like to also pass on my best wishes to your wife and family.
Our thoughts are with you all, and I'm sure things will improve for her quickly.
I appreciate this post
Admitting it's a good buy in the 6's does suggest you feel it's going to provide a good return. Thank you! (sincerely)
JUST AMFE down?
Maybe we could compare AMFE's 75% in 18 months to VPLM, down 84.44% in just a year?
557k @ 0.07
And I don't have the powder.
Damnit.
SELLERS ARE MORE ANXIOUS THAN BUYERS!
Yup. I'm buying, and not in the least bit anxious!
There have been plenty...

(To pick out a few)
Pesticides and mold are the biggest problems. That's where the GRO3 system comes in, taking care of both, leaving zero residue.
I'm seeing 161k on E-Trade
Altria moving in to Cannabis market
Altria is the parent of tobacco company Philip Morris USA Inc. and is taking a 45% stake in Canadian cannabis company Cronos Group Inc. at a cost of US$1.8 billion, stating that the cannabis industry "is poised for rapid growth over the next decade".
Big companies like that don't like wasting money--they see what's coming.
