Exactly! I am okay finding new investments when CLNV is out of feedstock. I will be proud to have helped clean the mess.
This is the US cannabis company I like the best. The MSOS in the US will face the same headwinds the Canadian companies did and these guys have chosen a controlled rollout and prime locations over just a land grab. The thought they put in to every aspect of the business will pay off imo.
He has done exactly what he said he would and it is a better company now than it was over $2. I am averaging down. Staying diversified in the sector tho! Change happens so fast.
Very pleased they did not waste more time and energy on the past in favour of a bright future. He had a hand in the company getting to where it is so I see it as a good answer.

I find it hilarious that people call it Canopy like it is a separate entity from Constellation. They have been in complete control since they destroyed momentum by firing Bruce. If I was a Constellation investor I would be upset. They have sabotaged the company they spent 5 Billion on. I guess whoever speculated they would crush the company and buy the pieces was right.
Thank you for protecting our investment by crossing every T and dotting every i I am good with a get rich slow plan. If it is good enough for Warren it is good enough for me.
That being said, they are still working on the restructuring so it could go either way
Possibly, we will know soon one way or another :) I am happy to have invested in the world being a better place. Without us little retailers the industry would not exist. I do not consider it a loss.
No need for r/s unless they go below $1 is there? They are already on “the big boards” and are poised to just go up from here. R/s are not the worst when done for the right reasons. It sucks to see 10,000 shares to turn into 79 tho gotta say :s
It will be interesting to watch this one. What a rollercoaster this industry is! Have to learn the new ticker lol! I did not recognize it. Portfolio has been kinda on autopilot but I think things are going to get interesting in the next 60 days or so. Jmo
Naw. I think support will be found around 2.10 and bounce. If you are short, better cover ;) It will woggle around there and then go for new highs. Jmo. The Canadian market is just getting started and the US is expecting an answer of some kind from the DOJ in about 60ish days. I donno tho don’t listen to me
Imo, Cannabis is a commodity. Its future is in drinks. Many many people do not even know they like this medicine and the majority will never smoke it. I will take Tinley all day long. It will be grown as a crop elsewhere in the not too distant future. Such an odd situation to be in but waiting patiently for vff to go back to growing tomatoes. The cannabis industry might just have accidentally improved global food security. All of the high tech greenhouses will not go to waste. Soon only premium bud grown by master growers will command the price comparable to ditch weed under prohibition. The rest will be a crop sold by the bushel not the gram. Processed into tasty beverages and edibles. We are leaving the equivalent of moonshine and bathtub gin behind us. At least in the rest of the world. Not sure how long it will be for the US to get out of its own way. Tinley is still alive and making good moves in the heart of cannabis country. I am eager to see how things play out :)
Dislike when fun stuff happens and our market is closed for a holiday
Have been here the whole time holding long. Cannabis is a commodity. This is a CPG industry. Nobody buys shares in a corn farm. The plant will be grown and sold by the bushel and folks betting on greenhouses did not learn from Canada. Craft growers will always command premium prices. McWeed will make investors $. They made a good move by aligning with alcohol. That is where the future is. Cannabis in a bottle. Tinley has been doing the heavy lifting in the toughest market while others lazily chase low hanging fruit. The effort will pay off, just a matter of time
If the pop is in the US would it be reflected in the Canadian ticker or just nasdaq? I just wonder which would be best to buy. Can choose
Thank you for your continued effort to bring us into the 21st century
Was the insider who voted against the merger a person who benefits from this restructuring? If so, what is the recourse of the investors shut out with what seem to be now worthless holdings?
Buddy may be short? With Frank’s rebuttal he will be shorting his pants. I have been long CLNV for a while. Happy to fund the enlightenment
It is FLT in my portfolio, I do not know what it says in other countries. In any case I like this company and will buy more as I am able
They are combining with a Canadian company. Aleafia $AH in Canada. They seem well aligned. Aleafia has both medical and rec and can move product freely across the country. Millions more potential customers and access to excellent products, R&D and international markets. Not a bad investment of a nickle :)
What is sad about the opportunity to buy shares today lower than I paid much more for? The company is better than it was at $5. The thing I find sad is that I do not have anything spare to put in right now. Hopefully I will soon :)
Not yet. This is a challenging time all around. My attitude is I would be holding anyway. I hope there are no shenanigans but it is nice to see a chart :)
My guess would be when it tests and holds .10
Why would their price drop on the announcement of getting such important approvals? The news seems to have been dropped under a NYSE ticker unless I’m missing something
https://ih.advfn.com/stock-market/NYSE/fleetcor-technologies-FLT/stock-news/91341494/drone-delivery-canada-receives-approval-for-bvlos
But no deaths right? Children should not be eating cannabis. Liquor comes in fruity flavours and it kills many people of all ages every year. I want to see folks get their pants in a wad over that. The hysterics are getting tiresome. Over 5,000 people die from tylenol poisoning in the US every year. Cannabis gives better relief from many types of pain and is much much safer. I am investing to make the world a better, healthier place. I wish the controllers would stop obstruction and start helping. Gotta say tho, being retail in Canada is a great position to be in at the moment
Unfortunately it seems to be unavailable on my exchange. I am stuck holding and hoping.
Do you see value in their computer tech? That was one reason I bought here. They seemed to have programming for inputs so less distance to feedstock. It seemed a plus at the time. Is that the case?
200 day above the 50 and 2x the average volume on an up day. Our patience may soon be rewarded. I never assume anything in this industry but it looks promising
The thing I like about FLT is their global fly lines they are going to sell as saas to others. In addition to their drones and their connection to Air Canada and the hospital network. I see them as up and coming
I think it is because they are in an industry that just started as legal in 2017 where they just got actual stores open 2 years ago and they sell a product nobody is allowed to advertise. The only people who can invest in the industry are retail investors because corporations and banks and hedge funds are not permitted in the OTC or cannabis touching businesses might be a few reasons as a start. Impatient people prefer the activity of trading. I have been investing in the cannabis industry since Tweed went public. Made a bunch there and have redeployed my $ into this industry on a more diversified basis. The large LPs are a joke now. Constellation trashed Canopy. Glad I got out when the takeover happened. IMO the best bet in Canada is in Aleafia because they understand CPG is the future. I am watching a couple of other names but Aleafia is the only Cdn LP I own at the moment This is a nascent global industry that offers a product that is so beneficial people are willing to risk prison for. In my opinion this is the greatest opportunity to make generational wealth I will see in my lifetime. I hope that clarifies the situation. Not a normal industry. That is why it is such an extreme opportunity.
I appreciate your information. I appreciate all of the facts. Not just those that are flattering to my chosen companies.
That is fine. I have several holdings that have bopped back and forth between. The reality of the burgeoning cannabis industry either toughens you up or gets you to leave. I am still here. The company is more valuable today than when I first bought it. I have been averaging down and have left a lot of fluffy companies behind but I really am okay with staying invested in the ones that keep hitting milestones in spite of the price. I truly see this as early internet days many companies failed but those who kept their microsoft stock in spite of the dire outlook in the down swing are very happy. Just holding and waiting. Im not cut out to be a trader. After last year I kinda wish I was but I track companies and buy the ones That seem to be going in my ethical direction. Hard to make money that way lol but I know it is possible.
Or a short squeeze….. we will know soon enough. This was on special kitty’s (or whatever their handle was) note pad along with TAAT during the AMC drama. I am good either way. Just investing in my grandkid’s future. Hoping for all kinds of green. ;)
I hope it is the final shake out. They had cast a broad net early on. It seems like they are now focusing on their core business. It is so close to lift off it could be Idex’s moment. We will see. Such a fun game :) I seem to recall Alf Poor saying something about spinning off timios in an interview. I am glad they are getting a review to keep the NASDAQ listing. The stars are lining up, hope the timing meshes. Glad to be investing in a new bright future instead of relying on dinosaurs.
Suspending plans for Canada i NC definitely citing regulatory hurdles and unfavourable pricing

They have been doing what they say they will. I have family that is a patient and what they say about the products is true.

UN needs to justify having a plant that has never caused an overdose death and has many medicinal properties on a prohibited list. Particularly since the reason it is on there in the first place was because of the bogus war on drugs. It was prohibited because the USA put it on the schedule. That action has causes unimaginable harm and it is time to stop the nonsense. It needs to be descheduled completely and regulated like alcohol. I am amazed more people are not talking about this. It is like the FDA refusing to look at it to make it legal because it is illegal. A lame circular argument
What if the $ comes from green credits like I heard it does for tesla? I thought I read the majority of any income they have is from carbon credits not cars? Using the plastic stream that is total waste even if it is less efficient could make sense if the point is cleaning up the environment and eliminating new oil sourcing. As it sits now, it is a trash problem. We are past peak oil so they can use the inputs the people pay them to take in to run their system and the output is a product that is more valuable over time. Just a thought. Efficiency is not really in the equation if there are no more sources of oil every drop counts. Even as more novel energy systems appear oil is needed for the near/mid term. I like they are exploring hydrogen so it is perceived as more green. Additionally there are some applications where only oil will do. The sorting out of contamination that OMR highlighted would be critical. Assuming this is not creepy people taking advantage (always a possibility) hydrogen could be a great step in a new economy.
China was locked down almost completely because of the bug so it does not surprise me they did not progress as planned. I am patient. I can not wait till the world stops blaming and fearing each other and puts as much money and effort into helping each other thrive :) I am investing to make the world more wonderful. My riches can not be counted in dollars. I am not against making gobs of cash ethically tho! I will have more to help others with. This is the same as my cannabis stocks. The way forward is obvious and inevitable but circumstances slow us down. We will get there :)
This is great news! They have non dilutive financing with an investment grade bank! A term loan and a revolving line of credit!
