I think it would be highly unusual for news on a Friday and next week they will most likely be very busy dealing with the EBD demonstration. But let's hope.
HMSG histogram just turned positive. On balance volume increasing. Accumulation increasing. Above 30, 50, 100 and 200 day moving averages. All systems go with no news.
Something must be up.
Great due diligence. Thank you very much for sharing it.
Great sign that things are moving ahead.
gamood, that struck me as well that US Border Patrol now a customer.
Very good news indeed.
Let me refresh your recollection. You wrote, "There are absolutly (sic) insiders here playing this stock." With the certainty you expressed, whom exactly are the "insiders" you are writing about?
I'm glad you knew. Then you should be more careful whom you accuse of insider trading.
One of the most fundamental rules in technical analysis is that volume spikes before price increases. It does not just happen with HMSG.
swb173, to obtain a great visual on volume, go to stockcharts.com and plug in HMSG. The chart can be adjusted for the period of time you are interested in.
Regarding the stock today, the great majority of trades are on the upside. The Chaikin Money Flow or CMF is a technical indicator combining price and volume in an attempt to show money flow into and out of a given stock. This indicator is very bullish and solidly in the green. Money is flowing in.
The accumulation/distribution line continues to tread up as is the on balance volume indicator. Most importantly, the MACD and historgrams are clearly moving up. The price is above the 30, 50, 100, and 200 moving averages. Very bullish.
Anyone buying will find it is difficult to accumulate shares because buying in small amounts is moving the bid up.
Conclusion, in my humble opinion, bullish and indicating that something big is coming. I think you are wise to examine the volume on the stock. Volume was huge on the recent price breakout to the upside and extremely low on the healthy correction that ensued. It looks like it is picking up again and should be a good inidication that HMSG price is going to escalate again.
No problem. Sorry for the confusion.
As we all know, time is a limited commodity. When people so unselflessly give of their time to help others I think it is important to acknowledge that.
The due diligence and analysis they both provide fair as well as extremely well reasoned.
I can't thank them enough for sharing the same.
Pennypirate, excellent shareholder update. Isn't it reassuring that unlike most penny stocks where dilution is a huge problem that we have reaffirmation that reducing the number of shares is a top priority for management of HMSG.
Also very encouraging that more national stock numbers have been issued for the company's live saving products. As we have seen, these numbers subsequently account for orders. I think it is as simple as more numbers issued, more contracts and more potential profits to power of move upward in the stock price.
Finally, the technical aspects of the stock seem to be in great shape. As we know, the Golden Cross has occurred indicating a very bullish environment for the stock. Secondly, the accumulation/distribution line indicates a clear upward trend. The on balance volume indicator comparing up volume to down volume is on a huge RISING incline. The Chaikin Money Flow is solidly green. The recent price correction is healthy bringing us closer to the ever rising moving averages in order to spring off to new highs.
This is the first penny stock I have been actively recommending to friends and family. I have a excellent gut feeling about the folks running the company and am equally encouraged by both the technical and fundamental aspects of the company. There is little more to want in a penny stock other than for others to recognize its potential.
I continue to appreciate the unselfish sharing of information and excellent analysis concerning HMSG by both you and rrufff. It is very helpful to say the least.
Best wishes for your continued success.
Totally agree with you about HMSG. Best of luck.
Fred
When you least expect it the price will take off.
Thanks very much for the reply. It is greatly appreciated.
Fred
Stock Lobster, read your posts with great interests. Wondering what your latest take on HMSG is especially in light that the Golden Cross is occuring Monday and that company has yet to PR a $ 900,000 increase in military contract previously entered.
Thank you.
Fred
rrufff,
Good morning. Sorry to bother you but just wanted to note that Golden Cross will occur on Monday regarding HMSG. Seems like support level keeps rising lessening risk here.
Recent find that contract increased by military from 1.3 to 2.2 million must be a good sign. They don't even seem to have time to PR these great developments because so much is happening.
If you have any thoughts regarding above, would be greatly appreciative as always.
Thanks again.
Fred
Golden Cross occurs Monday. Should be VERY bullish. Everything looking good including how well it has held up during recent crash.
rrufff, thanks for sharing thoughts on DFNS.
RE: HMSG 50 dma crossing over 100 dma today and golden cross should happen in a week. I don't know if it means much other than the stock is moving in the right direction, but consider very bullish all the same.'
Fred
rrufff, regarding HMSG, the 30 day moving average crossed over the 200 day moving average today. I take this as very bullish on top of the great news the company has already PR'ed. It looks like one more week and the Golden Cross will occur when the 50 dma crosses the 200 dma.
I'm hoping with all the good technical and fundemental news coming together at the same time, coupled with a low float, is going to result in an explosion to the upside.
Best of luck to you,
Fred
Penny, the 30 day moving average crossed over the 200 day moving average today. I think this is very bullish. Additionally, the 50 day moving average looks like it will cross the 200 day moving average in about a week, thereby producing the very bullish "Golden Cross." It looked like we had a "hammer" for todays stick would could be very bullish. On top of the great fundemental news you have written about, it seems all systems are go for an explosion to the upside anytime now.
Best of luck.
rruffff,
Thank you very much for reply. You have a wonderful ability to get right to the point and your observations are tremendously helpful.
I'm hoping that the company get discovered soon and agree with a lower float than normal on these types of stocks, it could move very quickly.
Best of luck,
Fred
rrufff, HMSG acting nicely lately. Any thoughts on new PR and implications for the stock?
Thanking you in advance,
Fred
Homeland Security Group International Introduces EBD-1 to Mining Industry
Wednesday February 21, 6:00 am ET
SAN DIEGO, CA--(MARKET WIRE)--Feb 21, 2007 -- Colonel Jeffrey A. Powers, CEO of Homeland Security Group International, Inc. (Other OTC:HMSG.PK - News), announced today that HMSG has entered into discussions with the mine safety industry and introduced them to the Neptune EBD-1. The company will begin immediately to ensure NIOSH Certification. HMSG has been invited to attend the National Mine Rescue Team Competition in Carlin, NV, on April 20 - 21 where they have been invited to "showcase" the Neptune EBD-1. The company will talk with, and pass out information on the unit to all participants and observers.
"The currently issued emergency breathing apparatus used for mine safety is a filter device that has several problems," commented Colonel Jeffrey Powers, CEO of HMSG. "The unit gets hot during use. User's mouths have been burned to the point of causing blisters to form. This is cased by the chemical reaction of converting Carbon Monoxide to Carbon Dioxide. The device currently in use is also hard to draw air through and therefore uncomfortable to the user," continued Powers. "Another drawback of the filter being used in mines today is that it filters air, so if oxygen is not present in sufficient quantities then the user has no other means of support. The EBD is a self contained breathing apparatus and doesn't filter air but rather supplies breathable air."
During the demonstration held last week in Carlin, Nevada, mining officials present suggested that the unit be "staged" throughout the mine with pallets of spare air canisters. This would benefit rescue crews that would not have to carry spare air equipment with them as they enter the mine on rescue operations (For the return trip out of the mine with injured or trapped workers). A supply of units and air bottles could be stored in the newly manufactured "safe rooms" that are now prevalent in most mines.
Officials were very excited about the EBD and follow on meetings were scheduled to further educate the mining industry and the training academies on the characteristics, nomenclature and operating procedure of the EBD.
rrufff, some news from HMSG:
Homeland Security Group International Ballistics Division Announces Contract Awarded to Partner Protective Solutions for Revolutionary New Lightweight Armor
Wednesday February 14, 6:52 am ET
$1.3 Million Awarded by US Army TACOM
SAN DIEGO, CA--(MARKET WIRE)--Feb 14, 2007 -- Colonel Jeffrey A. Powers, CEO of Homeland Security Group International, Inc. (Other OTC:HMSG.PK - News), announced today that HMSG's ballistic partner, Protective Solutions of Dulles, Virginia, has been awarded a $1.3 million dollar contract to supply the US Military with ballistic armor solutions for amphibious assault vehicles.
"The announcement of this contract signals the Army's intent to better protect our troops by purchasing, testing, evaluating and deploying the best solutions available on the market," commented Colonel Powers. "We have demonstrated that this material can stop multiple strikes from 7.62 high velocity rifle rounds, has passed the government's mandatory requirement for HP White standards and the military has assigned National Stock Numbers (NSNs) to our various configurations. Working with Protective Solutions, we have introduced the ballistic blanket in all of its configurations to the US Army and Marine Corps and have demonstrated its use and easy of application to key decision makers of the armored vehicle community. We are confident that we have the manufacturing capability to meet the government's need for continued supply of lightweight armor solutions. We also believe our pricing and quality of product is exactly what US Army and Marine Corps is looking for," concluded Powers.
HMSG expressed immense pleasure from positive feedback received from a recent visit to the Pentagon to speak with Marine Corps leadership. "Our Commandant and Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps want to get the best technology on the ground and protecting our troops immediately. There is no doubt that our products are needed NOW," commented Mark Wilson, HMSG Chief Operating Officer. "We are continuing to see wounds caused by armor piercing ammunition which impact our troops while they are riding in vehicles. This additional layer of ballistic material applied to the interior of vehicles is a solution we feel will save lives. We have demonstrated our revolutionary technology and the military knows our products work .We are serious about saving lives."
The $1.3 million dollar contract was for the purchase of 1041 ballistic blankets in each of the twelve different configurations.
About Homeland Security Group International
rrufff, I wonder if a possible reason for late run today is that shakerzzz put a buy on approximately 3:30p.m. Calling for a big move tomorrow.
Fred
rrufff, another great call on HMSG. Now that it has broken the past resistence levels, any take on where it is headed? Any idea what moved it up so swiftly?
Thanks and continued good luck,
Fred
Thanks.
itaelios, sorry to bother you, just wondering if you are still in HMSG or have any thoughts about it. Thank you.
Best of luck to you with HMSG. Still trying to buy more this morning and they are holding on to shares not wanting to sell. Two excellent PR's also this morning. Let's hope this is the start of something big.
I had trouble all day picking up shares again. Able to get some at .0042. Could be an interesting ride coming.
ita-elios, are you still in HMSG? They had some great news about certification of armor and contracts with the military today.
Thanks.
Let's hope so. It is very positive to read that they have been conducting "...concurrent testing with other materials to increase survivability of whelled and tracked vehicles."
This could be huge.
You're welcome.
Thanks. I will try that.
If I may, in regards to your last email, I have been attempting to purchase HMSG, at times, over the ask with no action. What accounts for this and is there any action that can be taken?
Thanks for your continued insights.
I hope you are correct.
Good luck to all.
I was in San Diego in December 2006 to see the company. I made an appointment to visit with the folks from HMSG. After that meeting I was convinced that this is a real company, with real and exciting products and run by people with vision and commitment.
It was helpful to hold in my hands the lightweight armor that could offer better protection to our troops. I also held the old style ceramic armor that the men and woman are now using. It was very heavy in comparison and did not offer the same protection and is subject to breakage.
I also was impressed by the new Neptune breathing device products. It seems these can be a real winner for the company. The website information doesn't do justice as to how compact the device actually is. Has great potential to save lives.
It was quite impressive to see the various bags the company has for sale for the troops that are selling well according to the recent PR release.
Finally, I was tremendously impressed with the real compassion these folks hold for our soldiers and wounded veterans. If for no other reason, this gave me incentive to purchase more shares for myself and recommend HMSG to my friends.
HMSG looking very good here. Best of luck to you. Next week may well be the one this takes off.
News looks great today regarding new product.
That's cruel, but hilarious. I'm laughing out loud as I write this.
Excellent unexpected PR today. Totally agree that this changes everything with contracts. If correct that more are on the way, HMSG has finally has foot in the door.
Should be very interesting.
Good luck.
Fred
