wow. such a low float.
can't wait to hear about new updates.
I think they specialize in rehabbing distressed property and businesses. Wonder if there were any opportunity they jumped in on during peak of the pandemic.
looks to be some interesting weeks ahead with all the news and rumors.

Don't know if this is anything, BCND started moving this week... was around .0025 for a few years. last 2 weeks moved into 4's, now just hit .005 at the close. seems like very low float. JMO
nice, finally moving... couldn't find any news, but looks like its being slowly accumulated past 2 months
IMJX, CCAJ, MJTK, BKMP

GCAN looks like will be running soon JMHO
GCAN looks like it's going to run JMHO
GCAN looks like it's ready to run
I was looking at Mark Random's service agreement.
https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1695473/000149315218010899/ex10-31.htm
Seems like his salary is $7k per month (probably more now). $3K is paid and the remaining $4k is deferred as loan to the company. The loan can be exchanged for shares.
Since his service agreement does not list getting any shares as compensation, does this mean Mark acquired his shares from converting his loans to shares?
If so, then it's great to see the company's Chief legal counsel believe in the company's direction... enough to put his own money into acquiring shares.
JMO
Nice... looking good!
Wonder what GCAN's pps will look like in 2021, if North America gets going. Also, the cosmetic deal in Latin America
Such a nice way to start 2020! lots of good information. Thanks for sharing!
Cosmetics, not pharma. Yes, would be great to hear they are up and running in Brazil too

with big brands slowing or halting CBD plans... I hope RM can use 2020 to increase VATEs' market share and product awareness exponentially

Cannabis/CBD becoming so huge globally....only a matter of time before we see them in the mainstream
Need a big year for VATE - GLTA
maybe... we'll need to see how this relationship develops
Right now, I think Symtomax only has the right to EU, Mid East and Africa.
Maybe they can buy us out for the rest of the world :)
"Portugal is keen to become a leading player in the global cannabis industry and the government has granted approval to a number of high-profile projects"
hopefully Symtomax is part of this.
"It is working with Greater Cannabis Company (OTCQB: GCAN) in Baltimore on creating innovative cannabinoid delivery systems for the medical marijuana it will produce in Portugal"
nice...

Dr. Eurico Castro Alves will be speaking at CannX in Feb

Nice post. I don't think a buy out is out of the question either.
Elev8 has good products and profit margins. The issues with lack of marketing and perhaps capital to really push their products out to the general public are very easy fixes for an big branded company.
If anything, acquiring a little know company with a good product and great profit margins on the cheap, may make VATE an ideal company to target.
JMHO - good luck all
I couldn't find anything either on 7-11.
I did find a recent job posting: https://forcebrands.com/jobs/elev8-hemp-llc/sales-executives
That's funny - "Vending machines were heavily promoted"
Not by the company, maybe by a certain few posting on this board.
Like the branding changes to the logo and bottles,
With this out of the way... hopefully, RM can step up the marketing.
Looking forward to an huge lift towards the end of the year and an explosive 2020.
GLTA.
Yup! Pretty clear to me... I have 2020 vision :) GLTA
I was comparing today's news to the last shareholder update news.
This could be just me, but this latest news seems like it's the same information sent in the shareholder update.
If anything, thought the shareholder update was more informative. Like, they are working on 2 new products - CBD+caffeine and CBD+Melatonin. Also, mentions 2 new dosage form - the first we just heard about, the transdermal patch/strip. Waiting to hear what the other form is.
IMO, once we hear what's the agreement with Symtomax, specifically our royalty fee and projected revenue, this will send this skyward.
Regardless, good to see news finally coming out. I think we move up this Q4 and setup a nice launching pad for 2020.

Nice... I think some Asian cultures see 8s as lucky. Also, for Christians, 888 represents Jesus.
Guess it's impolite to talk while eating up shares :)
Thanks for linking those article Slider.
I'm in agreement. Tip of the iceberg here with CBD and Canbiola has constructed a nice base in NY to blast off from.
I think the need for hemp processing will probably be more apparent once banking and crop insurance is available to farmers. Farmers are still on the sideline or not fully committed due to various risk factors in growing CBD hemp. Financing and insurance can push more farmers into growing CBD hemp
Pretty good read & information on the challenging business of farming CBD hemp...
https://www.recordonline.com/news/20190721/orange-county-farmers-investing-in-cbd-hemp
Agreed, Sleek!
They're still working within their sector and the businesses are related to the their core business. They've built solid relationship with businesses that have synergy with and can grow together.
hope the reversal comes soon! I need more green in my account...
Pick up any medication bottle and you'll see a list of active ingredients.
I don't see anything wrong with Canbiola's approach to isolate key components of the compounds found in hemp like CBD and terpenes in order to control the formulation of their product. I believe this is a pretty standard procedure to the manufacturing of medication.
What is it that they say about opinions... they're like azzholes, everyone has one but they think each others stink.
I guess we can agree to disagree :)
Cheers.
THC, may be a beneficial component for the cannabidiol system.
Unfortunately, the issue is that it's illegal because of its psychoactive property.
Which I assume, could make the other CBDs with trace amounts of THC (non-isolates) illegal or less trusted by consumers.
Canbiola’s Products:
• CBD products are isolates, 100% THC free and safe for consumers.
• CBD products have terpenses reintroduced after the THC are stripped out. So, the products are safe and beneficial to the cannabidiol system without the side-effects of THC.
• CBD products have gone through a “nano” process reducing the molecular size for superior bioavailability into the cannabidiol system.
So, not sure if it right or fair to group the Canbiola products in with other isolates - those without the terpenes added for the "entourage effect".
Sorry, not following. How does this "help" everyone, including the company? What were you thinking here? Would like to understand... thanks!
quote:
Debbie at the donut shop sells CANB products for much less prices as well.
Please all post all sides of the DD as it helps everyone including the company understand what the share holders are thinking.
Please... stop trying to cause confusion with your poorly stated posts.
He stated that his product is about 99.5% pure CBD extract, which later in the process, terpenes are added to have the entourage effect.
About 7 min mark...
IMO....with some of the recent issues involving CBD - health issues from vaping and THC discovered in CBD labeled as THC free, I think CANB has a leg up on some of the competition because Canbiola is sold through the physician channel.
Having physicians sanctioning your product would defuse some of the trust issues CBD is going through right now.
What may also help Canbiola is that, since they cannot make any medical or health benefit claims... having a solid base of medical professionals and patients providing their testimonials on how well CBD worked for them could benefit CANB greatly.
Sprycel, Sorry... my condolences to you and your family for the loss of your FIL. I went through something similar with an Uncle who passed from Parkinsons.
Hopefully, new innovations, technologies and discoveries in medicine - like the GCAN patch - can make positive changes in the world.
Maybe this happens, maybe not. But, yes... good thing GCAN holds the patent. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Guess I was thinking, if the patch can one day revolutionize the way pharmacies dispense drugs and change the way people take their meds.
Elderly people may one day be able to take a patch a day with all their meds. Instead of having to carry around a pillbox with a handful of meds and remembering to take the meds once or twice a day.
OK. I guess I didn't catch that.
I was thinking about different medications in 1 patch.
Like for a gout.
1st layer would be a fast action CBD for pain relief
2nd layer, different med to reduce inflammation
3rd layer, another med to control acids, reducing further attacks
4th layer, pain relief again
etc...
All at different dosage and time of day
I think the patch is more than just slow release. Thought I read the first layer is fast release, followed by layers of slow release.
Wonder if they experimented with the technology of the patch to see how customizable it can be. Maybe, various meds in different layers and time release, different layers of strength/dosage, etc...
