Maybe they haven't, but I will: Happy Independence Day, everyone, have a great day! [:^))
Not necessarily, Bigiron! I think they have chosen a very wise place to introduce their new shipping containers. Not only is India a leader in growing Guar beans(for Guargum used in oil drilling), but they are growing their economy, and are becoming a well-educated country, as indicated by Amity University's multiple Campuses in India, and their purchase of an American campus site on Long Island, NY. This all bodes well for the Indian economy, and future acceptance/use of the new Translock Squared containers.
While I do not understand why Doublecrown delayed so long in issuing needed financial statements, it appears they are now working hard to complete that, and restore their status. I am still optimistic about Doublecrown recovering before too long.
Doublecrown has a new Facebook entry you can find by Googling Doublecrown Resources Facebook. It basically says they have completed all financial forms, but cannot file them at this time. They are continuing with business , and working on restoring trading of DDCC stock as soon as they can.
Well, we are not supposed to discuss other companies on iHub, so I will only speak here to BFRE. Frankly, Bluefire needs a financing miracle for another $30M, and very soon, to get the Fulton plant started, if in fact, the Chinese EXIM Bank is still willing to go ahead with their promised $270M loan?
Trump was talking very favorably about the normal corn-ethanol industry while in Iowa, but I feel the new DOE personnel may not be as favorable toward funding a new cellulosic ethanol process, and I am not aware of anything being considered yet on this. However, it would sure be interesting to learn how well the Bluefire process would be, based on the good pilot plant results they got in Japan!
Hmm, it seems India is getting increasing attention these days from American businesses! It may be time for some of us to make an initial investment in IVDN?
Bigiron, very encouraging that she diligently called you back( twice), and gave what I gather was good news to you. That shows they are still working hard to make this business a success!
Also nice to see DDCC stock trading again as promised, up a bit today on 100,000 shares so far!
It doesn't appear now that anyone in China plans to help more than the EXIM Bank's original offer of a $270M loan. The Japanese, who proved out the Arkenol process a few years ago, do not seem interested either, perhaps partly due to their diligence in keeping a clean environment that would not benefit as much from consuming waste materials?
I have also heard the county in MS where the proposed Fulton plant was to be located, has been recently looking for ways to get out of the deal first made with Bluefire?
It seems now that a financial breakthrough, from one source or another will be needed, and fairly soon, in order to get this project started?
You are right, Monroe, it has been very quiet at BLuefire. I gather Arnie Klann didn't find much favor from the new DOE leadership, as It seems they are emphasizing older energy sources again.
Something needs to happen soon, either new financial help from China, or maybe a US normal ethanol producer?
I fully agree with you guys. I just Googled Amity University and found they have connections with numerous Universities around the world, including the US and UK, including technology and research cooperation and student exchanges, etc. They also have a new campus located on Long Island, NY.
This means that, if the Translock2 usefulness is as good as we expect it is, there should be wide-spread interest in it around the world. With the price of WTI back above $50/bbl, and growing economies, the implementation of Translocks should come quickly now!
I agree with ProfitScout, Greendolphin, that you have added a touch of credibility to the integrity of our Doublecrown Management that the naysayers here have been belittling.
It has been a long wait for us, as they struggle through the various business arrangements leading to a breakthrough, in establishing the outstanding Translock2 designs as the ultimate leading transport systems around the world!
I am just thrilled that the Amity University has recognized the value of Doublecrown's technology, and at how willing they have been in aiding Doublecrown in getting it established in the marketplace.
Yes, I think Doublecrown has shown real wisdom in going to Amity U. for assistance and confirmation of the value of the new Translock Squared containers. I would think the shipping will take place while they are still guar beans, which should load and unload fairly quickly and cleanly, in the specially-designed Translocks.
Yes, Magicman, and Amity U. has multiple campuses in India, and are expending world-wide. I mentioned earlier they have recently purchased a campus from an American University in New York. They appear to be very business-oriented, too.
from what I have read, they are becoming even more involved in the business realm, as you recall they have assigned some of their experienced staff to study the whole shipping container needs in India, to see where the Translock Squared designs will be useful. In other words, they will be doing some research work that should benefit Doublecrown's business plan in India.
All this is really great news for the future applications of the various Translock2 designs already patented, and possibly new ones coming!
What really impresses me, is the wisdom shown by Doublecrown in making contact with this great University, and the total willingness shown by Dr. Chauhan to have his University experts initiating extensive economic and technological studies, to implement the utilization of the new Translock Squared shipping containers in India, and perhaps other nations as well.
I suspect that may include manufacturing these new containers in India as well. All of this should give a powerful kick-start to the application of Translock2's in America as well, and around the globe!
This is great news, indeed! I understand that Amity University is well known and respected around the world too, and in fact just last fall Amity purchased a 170-acre campus from St. John's University on Long Island, NY.
Wow, this is just what we have been waiting to hear. All good news! Sure, we still need to keep waiting for concrete results, but knowing the Doublecrown team is being well-received, and are enthusiastically engaged in working out contracts to benefit all, should bring real encouragement to all involved, including us investors.
I agree with you on that, magicman! I understand that India produces about 80% of all the guar beans grown, so Doublecrown seems to have picked another ideal country to become known for the new Translock2s!
Well, Google Finance still shows DDCC listed on the OTC market, and shows its stock price and corresponding graphs!
Hmmm, could be some are expecting a new positive announcement, or, someone wanting to get out without dropping price too much in the process.
We haven't heard any news in a long time. Anyone heard from BFRE Management lately?
Yes, not only good timing for DDCC, but a very wise strategic move as well. They should wind up getting in on the ground floor in India with their new Translock2 shipping containers, and over time, probably in China and Japan as well.
Yes, the pieces ARE beginning to come together, including the price of WTI crude now back over $50. Don't forget the fracking sand and guar gum shipments. Also, note the price of gold is again near the $1250/oz price again!
The thing that amazed and surprised me was to learn that Doublecrown was talking with University people way over in India, which tells me they have a great understanding of how to contact new businesses in India and other Asian nations.
Not only should India wind up being the first nation to begin large-scale use of the new Translock2 designs, but they will most likely also manufacture Translocks in India too. This could lead to faster adoption of this new system in other Asian countries as well.
Doublecrown is on the cusp of a tremendous growth period now, and those who invest now will soon be very richly rewarded!
Yep, about 3.8M shares mostly on the downside. Anyone seen/heard any news about Doublecrown?
I certainly agree, MooChoMoola. I think they are still diligently working in several areas, and expect more announcements any day now.
Our changing Government is expected to be better for business in general, and our economy should soon begin to expand faster, giving even more opportunities for the new Translock2 shipping containers.
Today's long-awaited, slow and moderate rise in interest rates, has resulted in a further boost in stocks in general, along with a reversal in the recent crude price drop. This seems good for Doublecrown, for both new Translock2 agreements, and their supplying frack sand to the oil drilling industry. It should also encourage more investors who are getting into US stocks to invest more in DDCC.
Yes, it seems something may be brewing for Doublecrown! It is time for more news any day now, and it could be a whopper!!!
Yes, I understood he may have been there to talk with the new DOE leadership, but am not sure if he actually did so?
Would like to hear from anyone who has any info on this? Since Rick Perry is from a big oil-producing State(TX), he may not be very sympathetic towards alternative sources of energy?
Let's hope something happened while Arnie Klann was in Washington recently that results in a good new announcement?
Actually, 2.6 million shares, up 10% so far today. Watch for good news to come!
I fully agree, GTMUSTANG. Some of the modified patents should be applicable to more than one industry too, so that a tremendous potential now exists for using Translock Squared's in coming months and years.
Thanks, Profitscout for the reminder. Allen Lopez was very articulate in reviewing the highly beneficial attributes of the seven new versions of Translock Squared, and that concentration is now underway to bring them to market, as soon as they can. I expect we will be seeing new contracts being reported very soon now.
Well-said, Biotech. I fully agree!
IMHO, I don't feel they should. They need to stay in good relationship with the DOE, and ask them respectfully of the possibility of a change in their minds following a change of leadership?
Hopefully, we will hear something from Bluefire before too long?
Another possibility might be to contact an American gasoline producer about the possibility of an equity partnership of some sort, where that company would furnish the remaining cash needed to build the Fulton plant(assuming the China EXIM bank is still good for its loan agreement)?
Monroe, I am hoping that good, conservative people being brought into the Trump Government might see things better, especially when their Department( DOE, in this case) has made disrupting decisions. Bluefire probably would not have gone to the trouble of preparing the plant site at Fulton, MS, if they hadn't been promised a sizable DOE grant to assist in its building and start-up.
I am optimistic about Doublecrown too, GTMUSTANG16. Our economy is looking better already under Trump's Presidency, which should encourage other shippers to look at the Translocks for improving their shipping efficiencies.
I still expect Arnie Klann will be talking to the new DOE leadership, to find out for sure just where they stand on renewable energy, and if they plan to take any corrective action on that earlier grant to BFRE which the DOE reneged on.
Agree with you, GTM. I fully expect the new Trump Administration will also be favorable for trade with other countries, even though things appear a bit shaky with Mexico right now. Of course, more trade means even greater need for things like shipping containers.
The buying continues, HempsterBit, with 2.1 M shares so far today, up 10%. A few seem to be anticipating some pretty good news is just ahead, which is what I think too! [:^)
Glad you mentioned the oil and gas business, and that should be helped by the new announcement of (finally) approving the pipeline. Refracking should still be important until the price of crude rises to where normal fracking is again profitable.
Many things seem to be converging on a favorable future for Doublecrown.
Thanks for reminding us, GTMUSTANG16. With a total of seven various Translock2 designs now, Doublecrown will soon be in a position to enter a much larger number of various industries/products, that should result in much business growth in their shipping containers over many years.
