Today's Hypersolar story was the second article shown on my Yahoo feed! The title was "HyperSolar Announces Breakthrough in Low Cost Fabrication of Water Splitting Hydrogen Particles
Marketwired
Company Develops Artificial Photosynthesis Particles Using a Simplified Low-Cost Aqueous Process". It was a story forwarded by CNNMoney but prominently featured on Yahoo.... Not bad exposure for a little known company...
I thought the purpose of the PrePEA was to give Mark the ability to finally talk actual numbers to investors, not to get the word out more. Personally, I am ok with the share price holding steady. It gives me more time to accumulate more shares. Most people on this board have been patient soooooo long... If things line up the way they seem to be, our patience will be rewarded! IMO
TD Ameritrade should allow you to trade NIOBF.
Why do you feel the stock may be halted at anytime? just curious...
You make a good point JoseSD. HYSR should be working on the second or third version of the generator by now and we still haven't seen the first one yet...
I saw that... He said we need to work towards turning sunlight into liquid fuel....
You can add my 300,000 shares to the count!
Great article. I can't wait to see what 2015 brings for NioCorp and their long time share owners!!!!
I agree with you instatrader21. Blekko seems to be pumping HYSR too hard. I like HYSR myself but he seems to be going overboard.
well said.... I always loved the library! lol
Hey Blekko,
Thanks for the heads up but that there was nothing new in that press release today. Pretty much standard stuff. I don't think there will be much movement on that news... I hope I'm wrong on that but I don't think I will be...
I will look to continue building my position in HYSR as more solid information comes out. I, like many other share owners, are looking forward to some significant share growth with HYSR in 2015!!!!
Apri 2011as well...
Don't call me a liar. I was there scotlandrules and I met the people at SFOR. They may suck at doing business but the business exists.
It was probably about a year and some change since my visit down there. I met with Mark, George, Ram and another guy that worked there. I believe they are more tech people than savvy marketers and they're not great at selling their products themselves. This forces them to heavily rely on resellers that don't care as much for their products. I mean, GuardedID is not a bad product. I've used it myself for years and haven't had any major problems with it. How they market, sell and improve that product is another story...
I stopped trying to work with them months after my visit. We had some differences on how to improve their business.
The office looked legit when I visited. Several people working on stuff while I met with Mark and his VP. Discussed a lot of stuff with them including the companies present standing at the time, upcoming products, and future moves to make the company stronger.
It was a very productive meeting and I walked away feeling better about SFOR. Worked on a couple of projects with them and everything seemed legit. One thing I didn't understand is why they didn't want to put more effort in trying to sell more of their products directly to their customers. GuardedID was the main product we discussed that could improve their finances rather quickly if marketed better.
I know you didn't pose this question to me, Optimistic Trader, but I also went to SFOR's office and met with management.
I am using GuardedID on windows XP and it works smoothly. I love the Crypto Color!!! I haven't tried it with Windows 8 yet. Have you contacted SFOR about any future GuardedID enhancements or updates?
I agree that the corporate side is fabulous but it also drains resources. The sell is more time consuming since you have to go through numerous decision makers. They also care more about the stability of the company since they want service and a product that will be around as long as they will. Lastly, the corporate market drains profit margins when you use 3rd party sellers making each customer LESS profitable once you obtain a sale.
These factors hurt SFOR a lot. The consumer market is bigger and has les barriers to purchase. Consumers spend $30.00 all the time never knowing where they spent it. If they get more consistent sales from this side then they can sure up their balance sheet and not have to dilute their shares. Getting operationally profitable will allow them to then attack the business market better.
Positive cash flow plays for many business expenses like more software developers and/or better marketers.
Right now I feel SFOR should put some energy into developing their retail market while their 3rd party sellers work on their corporate business.I
Your thoughts?
Lol The CryptoColor is really cool isn't it!!! I love seeing it pop up before I start typing... I bought mine a while back so I didn't get my GuardedID as cheap as you did but I don't want to type any sensitive information on my computer if I don't see my Crypto Color appear! GuardedID is a real good product!!!People that are negative on the company need to try it and see if SFOR has a legit product... I mean, there's a 30 day free trial period so there's nothing to lose if you don't like it...
Dman, I agree with you! Without some major sales this company is toast... What I don't get is why they are so focused on the corporate end? A business must be harder to penetrate than a consumer that would pay $24 or so to reinforce their computer systems. I've used GuardedID for over a year now and I like the product. I think other consumers would too if the SFOR were able to sell to them... I think they can have a shot if they are able to use the the consumer side to stabilize their revenues. What do you think?
That is so true pope125. They are more old school then new. If we can help then market better SFOR can have better sales leading to better revenues and no more dilutions. Hopefully stock buy backs if revenue is strong enough...
Puernaute, I feel your pain as I am in the same situation. I did the same as you and I am continuing to do so becuase there is a critical mass that the company needs before it can start running. All companies need to hit that point. I think SFOR was close last year but they lost a majority of their revenue when they had to sue that company. That dried up their revenues and instead of looking at increasing revenues, which were taking place, they had to lost tons of money AND had to sell more shares to keep the business going.
What keeps me going is that revenues are slowly climbing again, more contracts are being signed, their SDK kit can be huge next year, and MobileTrust can be a game changer too. SFOR can make some serious moves if they can put this all together next year but they need our continued help.
At the same time we can let management know in return for helping turn the company around, they have to do right by the shareholders which is one of their duties anyway!!!
I am charging ahead right besides you lebrewski! Lead by actions and let the talkers walk!!! I am taking the steps you have too and I've actually asked my friends about what they use at home. Most say they use Symantic or McAfee but most liked the added protection GuardedID provides and bought it as an add on.
I agree with you 100% pmello3!!! Let's make this money!
You're right Optimistic Trader 50% off is a great price and I wish I bought mine at that price. $29.99 for two computers isn't bad either for the protection it gives you. Anyway, I ended up buying a couple more GuardedIDs for some friends as a small holiday gift. I thought it was a good way to introduce people to GuardedID since the holiday promotion was so low. I guess this campaign is working a little bit!
Thanks pmello3. I like GuardedID and I believe in what the company is trying to do. Making computing safer for everyone is important and I really believe in that. That's why I am getting behind SFOR and will help them where I can. I had to buy the product first to see if the company was legit, if the product was good, and if I can recommend it. The answer was yes to all three points so I'm rolling up my sleeves. I just hope enough people are doing the same to move this company forward!!!
I would first start with buying the GuardedID yourself if you haven't already. If you like GID then recommend it to your friends or buy it for a couple of them. Invite your friends to like SFOR on Facebook and speak to people directly if you have to. If you want to retire from this stock then helping the company where you can will help you retire sooner.
Personally, I think it is possible to retire with SFOR but most of the shareholders have to get more involved. They are a small company and they don't have the resources bigger companies do. If we shareholder become SFOR's resource then the company just got a whole lot stronger!
I believe like you, that I can retire with SFOR and I am only sharing what I started doing... You may be surprised at how many of your friends want GID and at the very least want to support you in this cause!
Yes the GuardedID software is good. I bought it almost two years ago and I enjoy using it! If you own a lot of shares of SFOR then you mind as well buy GuardedID to see how well it works. See if SFOR actually has a product to sell. As a current happy customer I can tell you they do and SFOR regularly updates GuardedID so it is up-to-date with all of the major broweres. What do shareholders have to lose? The first 30 days are free and with the new promotion SFOR launched today you will only pay $14.99 for 1 year. I believe you need to use the couplon "guardedxmas" to get the $14.99 price.
