CJ, you would think the guy (ES) has enough. Since a savy guy like ES knows you have to diversify with high risk bios, maybe pick up a little GILD, makes me think he doesn't think old PPHM is that risky. Interesting. TW
Hey Ken, just a little backing and filling. No big deal. When Hep C trials start, (soon), up we go again. Got to love viral. The results are so much quicker. Seems like liver cancer patients would be a good choice for the trials especially with a Hep C hx. TW
CJ, nice to see we are moving ahead on aids. Thanks for the CC SK. TW
Tarvacin for combo therapy should be huge. Radiation or chemo roughs up the cell wall architecture and allows Tarvacin to bind to the interior phospholipids attracting macro phages. (Correct me if I got it wrong.) But my interest is in the viral. Viral will end up leading the cancer. July should be here shortly and we will hopefully get some relief. TW
Jazz, Noticed the same thing. Combo therapy should make us very attractive to big pharma. TW
Jazz, Yup, SK is very interested in the animal rule. TW
There are certainly a lot of "tells" working in our favor. If the stuff works we are golden and Katie's wine list will have to be given up. TW
Amazing to me that off the chart fundies don't matter short term. I blame that mostly on a lack of sell side support. I will refrain from other problems I see short term with old PPHM. That too shall pass. TW
Once we get past the Russell hussle, we will go up. Bought some more on Monday. If we go down again, I will buy some more. The first two weeks of July should be special. IMHO TW
Katie, just going "animal" over your post. I would much prefer to see a secret photo album of the "ladies" of pphm. just my humble preference. TW
Katie, jmho, but if your post is correct, I am hoping that Tarvacin is "a product" in 3 years at which time you will reveal your wine list. TW
Ken, right there with you. I have always thought that PPHM is a viral story ( no disrespect to the great cancer story intented). Viral will lead the cancer. TA has not worked for whatever reason. It is a buy and hold until we get paid and I can afford to wait. The science is peer reviewed!!!! Too bad a lot of the folks just don't get the MOA. After the Russell hussle we will start to trade on the fundies and hopefully we will pick up some sponsorship. TW
Katie, how about MD Anderson for P1 viral. Save the best for last. TW
We've got to send Katie on vaca more often. Not only do we get the clinical sites i.d.'d we get our own website for Tarvacin. SK must have known about the vaca. TW
Katie? Vacation? You can do it!! My ancestors hail from Scotland. If you get near Aberdeen, shout. Otherwise. Enjoy. PPHM will do just fine. TW
Ken, the TA is ready to go and we are going to be moving on up in price. Cotara may turn out to be a drug after all. I think we are looking at a lot higher prices by September. TW
Question, how does our technology fit into the use of RFID tags. At the switch level? TW
P.S. When you have a bunch of lab rats running the show... well all I can say is I'm not surprised. TW
Katie, the force is with you. Understand the feelings, TW
Katie, you are smart, impatient, full of energy and not likely to take ... for an answer. Hope you get a comfort zone by the end of May. TW
Katie, your mission, should you choose to accept it is to go where few have gone before. Make Sk tell us what the hey is going on. After all, we are only owners. TW
Hey Ken. Have to agree on your analysis. Not sure PPHM will tell us about the start of P1. Don't care. If they don't tell me about the results, we have a problem. TW
ss9173, thanks for your very helpful post. I think the Martin Corpus announcement may have slowed things down since he should be given a chance for his input. June should be a very good month for us. TW
Thanks for your thoughts. Seems like we are in a holding pattern. July 4, one of his other deadlines, is not that far away. TW
Question. Has anyone heard why TS thought there might be a major deal by now. I remember it from one of his teasors. TW
Lupetto, maybe we are in somewhat agreement. I don't think a MSFT would have to read the agreement at all to decide whether to do a deal. They will decide based on the research of their IP attorneys. What Virgin chooses to do will not be dispositive for MSFT. If Virgin chooses not to contest the patents, that's a positive. However, MSFT will use their own research. TW
The main value of a confidential settlement is the fact that they settled. They could have tried to "bust" the patent. That's why a deal with a Fortune 100 company would be huge. It validates the patent(s)(like a settlement). The reason I brought up the food for thought was my point that people should not assume there will be no activity until June 21. Anything could happen. A Fortune 100 deal would really make Virgin nervous. I think the hold up right now is the fact that the new head of Paperclick needs to get in place and have his input in all things related to Paperclick. TW
Lupetto, people settle for all sorts of reasons, (cost, protect trade secrets, fear of losing, fear of a big judgment or no judgment at all). MSFT probably has some of the best IP attorneys in the world and the Virgin settlement will not be the deal maker or breaker. It is good that NEOM is protecting its IP property but a confidential settlement is of little value, particularly if NEOM is not allowed to diclose the terms to companies such as MSFT. TW
Food for thought. There has been a lot of talk on how the Virgin settlement must precede major licensing deals. Don't be surprised if the settlement terms are confidential. IMHO, a deal with a Fortune 100 company is not going to be held up by that event. It is more likely going to be held up by the addition of the new head of Paperclick who should be allowed to weigh in. Assuming it's MSFT, they will do their own dd by having the patents examined by their own patent counsel ( I will assume they know what they are doing) to protect their investment. That should happen with any other major company. My point, a deal could come at any time and the Virgin settlement will not be what holds it up. TW
If the parties have reached a settlement, the court will gladly dismiss the case to help clear its docket. TW
Hey Cloud 8, they were pretty close. A lot of traders use them. Helps when you want to buy on a correction. Never perfect, but a piece of the puzzle. TW
Ken, it might be interesting to see what the fibroni's project for neom. TW
Ken, SK sells 3.125 million shares at .96 and we get whacked. I had hoped he was out of the market for a while. Hope he is NOW. Underfunded bios will be the death of me yet. Let's hope the science is as good as we all believe it is. TW
Best post this morning. Gives you perspective. TW
More importantly. Wine Spectator is advertising their mobile companion. Imagine being able to click on a bar code to see if the wine you are about to drink is worthy of your high standards. It is a sure winner for NEOM. TW
They are due back in court in 10 days (May 17) on status of the Virgin settlement discussions. If they show up without substantial progress, the court will not be happy. Anyone have access to the court docket for the case? TW
Movieguy, my guess for the year end close is 2.85. Hope I am way too conservative. TW
IMHO, you let the market tell you where this stock is going. Sure we will get profit taking when the Virgin settlement is announced or a Fortune 100 deal. But after the profit taking, we will probably go higher and those who sold will wonder why they were so quick to get out. Keep some for the long haul. We are still very early in the development of this technology. There are a lot of deals to come which will drive us higher. Let it happen. TW
Just got back from the Verizon Store. My two daughters just scored two LG VX6100 camera phones. Guess what? They have a built in zoom. Perfect for reading a bar code. Peter Lynch would be proud. The technology is in place for Paperclick. TW
If I reduce your numbers by half(no reason to do so) and give it a very conservative multiple of 12, the move up in the stock in 2005 should be amazing just on the future numbers. TW
