Food for thought. There has been a lot of talk on how the Virgin settlement must precede major licensing deals. Don't be surprised if the settlement terms are confidential. IMHO, a deal with a Fortune 100 company is not going to be held up by that event. It is more likely going to be held up by the addition of the new head of Paperclick who should be allowed to weigh in. Assuming it's MSFT, they will do their own dd by having the patents examined by their own patent counsel ( I will assume they know what they are doing) to protect their investment. That should happen with any other major company. My point, a deal could come at any time and the Virgin settlement will not be what holds it up. TW
