I hear you. Thx.
I'm out of most hares now. Call me stupid, think metals will correct and want to load up for the ride down, then up again...can't hang on the hope train even though revisit it. Will miss the appl run this time around. I like this technology, will be coming back. Thank you and have a great day.
She's moving!
They can sue when they finally get some money coming in. Maybe they have to wait. The bigger the infringement, the bigger the settlement, if it's an issue at all.
Why is NASDAQ down.
Colorado is loaded with HP way folks.
Combine that with the new board member. Semiconductor fab requires the best in QA, etc. otherwise, no biz. the real question it seems to me is how easy and economical is it to really use LM to produce a wide variety of parts that could really make the business run and can they secure those customers.
There's a book "Quality is Free" that was A reference at HP years ago. It was rule number one.
The way I see it, when the time is right (and hopefully there will be a right time sooner than longer), a guy like Visser, who is successful, is smart enough to listen to people with more experience and/or will hire them. That seems like an easy issue to solve if it were an issue. He has the "HP Way" (Steipp) on his side. Been there done that, they know how when the opportunity presents itself. My guess is that it would be relatively easy to fill those positions.
What's the catalyst?
How high this time?
All the technicals look good and in multiple timeframes.
Nice turn of events on price action.
Lqmt could rise on non-aapl news even though every future aapl mobile device probably has some in it.
How much longer do we have to wait?
Oh no. Here we go again, lol.
Can anyone repost or direct me to recent information on plans to use ? 200,000 additional shares for something? ( that was authorized last Feb)? Is there an anticipated use soon ?
I'll vote for the new AAPL product announcements even if the use of LM is still "hidden" and/or a new license or contract announcement pre-production/revenue.
...and give you the full credit as the guy that caught the big pump, lol. (Except you probably didn't sell into it right).
I think I'll print that saying out and post it on my wall, lol. Nice slogan, lol
Not really. What's the catalyst?
Re:"size"; remember when Toyota first started selling cars in the US and shortly after came out with models that passed (and met/exceeded) most other manufacturers of automobiles even though the body of their car(s) was much smaller. They did it with beam inserts and designs that could absorb or deflect impact at high stress points. I guess it's no new news that LM could be included in a casing without having to be an entire casing. What surprises me is that it's existing use(s) in CE seem to be overlooked and that with each new CE product release, it's there (and used more). So.....? What's the beef.
It was. The pump at the time attracted a lot of attention. Later Steipp specifically said that they can't talk about AAPL(they call him down on it).
..... They're already using it and with each new product announcement it just means more LM sales...so....really...whether it's bold or not, it's use is growing, especially with each new product announcement (and ones to be announced soon).
There was an article on Swatch that came out of Europe a few months back that mentioned that the LM bezzel cost around $56. Also, LQMT has a blog post that discusses the costs of some parts and how fixed cost drops over time for tooling, etc. It was competitive. Maybe the article is still there for reference.
.... Large customers in the works need second sourcing...hope that Visser is conceding exclusivity to allow for the development of a larger customer base.
Discrete apps: when APL came out with iphone2 ( I think or another version) calls would drop when the handset was held a certain way in the palm of the hand. LM was used in cellphone antennas before LQMT ended those deals with other suppliers to support AAPL exclusively.
It's conceivable that LM could be used in conjunction with longer life batteries and RF related components which might be concealed like the sim card ejector (kind of a strange app because hardly anyone removes it; maybe the RF properties are a factor).
So, with any new AAPL CE/mobile/wireless device, there could more LM in it, though possibly not an entire case.
It seems odd to me that so much (opinion) hinges (no pun intended) on LM being boldly recognizable to get a sense of endorsement.
With new product introductions, it just means more LM sales to existing suppliers even if the components are small.
Some people use tax deferred accounts so it's not a universal assumption.
I agree with your points and seriously doubt that AAPL would have renewed with LQMT if they didn't see potential. LM is already proven out in CE for use in wireless devices; LQMT shut down that business in exchange for license fees from AAPL and an exclusive arrangement. It seems to me though ( and agree with you ) that AAPL may use it (as you point out) for specialized applications where LM adds value (e.g. iWatch) vs full case due to cost tradeoffs, etc.
I see it the same way to a degree ... Except I'm choosing to play rips and dips (vs praying)....but believe that "longer term" it could work out or maybe even sooner, e.g. By year end noted by your comments and others about insider buys. Thank you for your comments.
I think what he meant on the comments about the chess pieces (based on what you write) is that they aren't planning on producing them; it appears to have been a summer project or maybe even a 3D simulation. From one engineer to another.
They could finalize a licensing agreement with any one of the prospects they have been courting .... Fr some time now. It seems like the CEOs general mode is "steady wins the race"
The stock is still in a short term uptrend just waiting for something to happen.
It sounds like the company is trying to ease out the past and sort of bring in the new by reviving past businesses with more credibility, e.g. golf club plates, etc., and it seems like they have some solid long term strategic relationships. All they need is a contract or license arrangement announcement to know they are getting back on track with third generation LM.
John Carter is looking for gold to test ~1421 (free videos) then turn back down; it would be about 10 points up on GLD; maybe the decent into Sept. would begin shortly after toward an anticipated low mid/later month combining the analysis of two reputable pros.
Wasn't it to pay taxes on an option exercise or something to that effect?
Since AAPL product announcements wouldn't count toward LQMT revenue, that sounds like a selling point unless there is a superficial how in Sept, right?
What happened to "September"?

I noticed in the past that TVIX had time decay.
