No one in their right mind would be short this stock, but I guess insanity is ruling the day. If someone is short a stock, and that stock pays a dividend, that dividend is coughed up by... you guessed it... the short seller.

So, not only does the short seller get to have nightmares about a short squeeze, they also get the final ignominy of coughing up real C A $ H on the spot to pay the dividend to whomever loaned them the shares they've shorted.

Gonna be fun the next couple weeks.....

"Something" is up; it's now traded four times the largest volume day of the past 365, which was about 16 million.

Volume such as this, coming out of nowhere, doesn't happen in an information vacuum.

Unfortunately, it's so obscure that my broker's primo trading platform isn't showing L2 so it's a shot in the dark for me.

33 million so far, with an hour-fifteen to go; biggest volume of the past year, by twice. Things that make one go "Hmmmmmmmm......."
