Since then the companies have continued to carry their disagreement through various legal proceedings and arbitration. In April, Starbucks announced in its quarterly filing that it now expects a binding decision from an arbitrator to be handed down in the second half of its fiscal year ending September 2013.
The expected end to this legal battle may provide investors with a unique opportunity. Moses Li states that, “analysts are expecting SBUX to pay at least $1 billion in addition to any legal fees to Kraft for damages. Although these expectations are general knowledge to the public, SBUX shares are hitting all-time highs, indicating that it has not been reflected in the valuation. In addition, with roughly only $1.67Bn in available cash, it is safe to assume that SBUX will tap into debt options in order to finance the settlement and keep on-going operations. The new debt plus the payment for the settlement will almost definitely harm the company's bottom line. If we combine this with the fact that the stock is more sensitive to downside news, SBUX may take a dip after the lawsuit ruling.”

This $2.9 Billion Lawsuit Will really tank Starbucks Stock because
.
Most people don't realize that unlike a shareholders lawsuit, a breach of contract and failure to performis not covered by insurance. I personally have been in 3 arbitrations and every one split the award just about down the middle (that's what arbitrators do) so Kraft should get around $1.5 Billion plus costs. That is more than the total net cash that Starbucks has, since they also have $550 million in debt. It means they will have to stop the dividend and all dividend and income funds will bail out immediately. Plus they will have to curtail some operations and sell some stores. The stock will be very bloodied. Don't be caught holding when it comes and despite what anyone says, they and the company have no idea when, since there can be no communication with arbitrator after the hearing (unless parties notify they want to settle before decision issued). My decisions all came earlier than expected and Starbuck's Hearing was over in August of 2012 - so it could come any day. One thing to remember is that Kraft has been through distribution disputes many times before, but for Starbucks this is its first. When the arbitrator looks back on case law which is how he makes his decision, he can't avoid looking at cases where Kraft has won the decision, because case law is full of them. This is why Kraft refused to settle when Starbucks offered $750 million - they know they are going to win because they've been here many times before. Don't be left regreting you could have left with a huge profit but now have a loss. Pigs get slaughtered
Any Comments On This Lawsuit ?????
Thanks

Last week, shares of Ford Motor (NYSE: F ) crossed the $15 line for the first time since early 2011. The last time Ford stock reached that level, the company was benefiting from a spate of recalls at Toyota Motor (NYSE: TM ) and the devastating Japanese tsunami of March 2011, which disrupted supplies for Toyota, Honda Motor (NYSE: HMC ) , and other Japanese automakers.
Today, Ford stock's strength can be attributed to the company's success, rather than competitors' difficulties. The U.S. housing market recovery has boosted demand for Ford's F-Series pickups. Meanwhile, high fuel prices have encouraged U.S. consumers to replace their aging cars with more fuel-efficient models. Lastly, international trends are improving: Ford is gaining market share in China -- the world's largest auto market -- and is implementing a decisive plan to return to profitability in Europe.
Domestic trends keep improving
In the depths of the Great Recession, U.S. auto sales plunged. In late 2008, Ford stock dropped below $2, but unlike domestic rivals General Motors (NYSE: GM ) and Chrysler, it was able to survive without a bailout. U.S. auto sales have bounced back in a big way since then. Whereas automakers sold just 10.4 million vehicles in the U.S. during 2009, the sales rate is on pace to surpass 15 million this year.

From Investors Alliance, Gain Hunter, and Equity Plays..
Valued Members,
We have been strategically waiting for iTalk Inc. (TALK) to bottom out. Judging from the last two weeks, TALK has consolidated to healthy levels, established a strong base and is now primed to see new highs.
There is strong support at the 70 cent level, with this past Wednesday (June 12th, 2013) marking the fourth bounce off this support line. This tells us there is strong buying interest at these levels, providing confidence on this setup and downside protection for our members.
History has demonstrated that big news translates into big runs with iTalk Inc. (TALK), and what could be bigger news than entry into Apple's App Store?
For perspective, the daily revenue of applications in the top 200 grossing in the Apple App Store in the U.S. was $5.1M in April 2013. That's $5.1M dollars per day paid out by Apple to companies such as TALK with applications in the App Store. Are you starting to see how large the impact of this news is going to be?
This news was only just announced Friday morning and was very well received by the market, with TALK trading up 5.76% on the day.
TALK has a large industry following and historically has seen 20 - 30 day runs from strong news releases and large corporate developments. This effect is garnered as word within the industry spreads and long-term outlook geared individuals and institutions perform their weekly and monthly reviews. These portfolio strategy reviews will undoubtedly consider TALK's latest entry into Apple's App Store and when these events are taken into account, we could see a large influx of new buyers into TALK in the coming weeks and months ahead.
We believe Friday's trading is indicative of the early spark of this exact same pattern forming (notice how TALK saw a strong movement from 70 cents to over 2 dollars in late-April, early-May) and as a result of this evidence, we expect to see 100 - 300% gains from these levels.
This is nothing short of momentous news and due to the catalyst of TALK's recent entry into Apple's App Store; we firmly believe TALK represents a great entry point for our members.
Next week is expected to see a major run, potentially reaching all-time highs in the coming months. For those unaware of the scope of this development, Apple's App Store is expected to generate $22 Billion in revenue in 2016 alone (article link thanks to our friends at Forbes). In short, TALK is entering in to one of the largest and fastest growing markets in the world, thanks to Apple's acceptance of TALK into its App Store.
This is why we place such strong confidence behind TALK as the company positioned with the highest potential and greatest likelihood to demonstrate 100 - 300% gains for our subscribers from current levels over the next few weeks.
If you haven't yet read Friday's news, read the story directly on CNBC's website here: www.cnbc.com/id/100815903. In a brief summary, TALK now has an app available for anyone to download in Apple's App Store. The app, within a matter of minutes, turns any iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch into global calling device that you can make and receive calls with over WiFi, 3G, or EDGE connections – for a fraction of the price of traditional carrier charges.
It's a matter of price competition. When a consumer is considering renewing his cell phone contract, what do you think is going to be the winning option? Another high-priced, locked-in term contract? I don't think so. Consumers are going to opt for the no-contract, low-cost and easy to download alternative: the TALK App. An alternative that has higher call quality to boot.
This news is a game changer for TALK and its effect is only going to grow as word spreads. Accompanied with all other recent developments (RocketVoIP Acquisition, ITG Acquisition, 1-800-GET-VOIP Acquisition, My800online Acquisition, a further $2.5M revenue in final closing due diligence and $60 billion dollars in potential federal incentives), this leads us to believe there is going to be another major (perhaps the largest) run in this company to date. We are without a doubt watching history unfold as the entire carrier industry shifts away from per-minute and per-text billing and instead begins to rely more and more on data services as its major billable.
As Vodafone stated in its recent annual report, "The demand for mobile data services is growing rapidly. Data is already our fastest growing segment, with data revenue up by 22.2% over the financial year, compared to a 4.4% rise for messaging revenue and a 4.0% fall for voice revenue. This demand is being driven by three key factors – a widening range of powerful and attractive smartphones and tablets, significant improvements in mobile network quality and capability, and an increased choice of user friendly and useful applications for business and social use." Sound familiar? TALK is positioned to leverage all three growth factors and TALK is without a doubt – in the right segment, at the right time.
This development was highly anticipated and we started seeing sparks of momentum during Friday's session – what we believe will only continue to grow into next week's trading. This is the reason we brought TALK to your attention early on, so you would be ready when the sparks started flying. Members, this is it. Prepare yourself, lock in your positions and get ready – we believe the fireworks are just about to start.
Keep a very close eye on TALK early next week, as we have seen in the past, when this company starts moving... it moves up fast. You will want to be on top of this early next week to ensure you catch the momentum as it picks up and quite possibly shows incredible gains in a very short period of time.

The two big U.S. automakers have been on a tear recently, with both Ford and General Motors rising around 50% in the past year. While these stocks may not be dirt cheap anymore, analyst Brendan Byrnes thinks there's still opportunity in this space.
Both a Ford and GM shareholder, Brendan says that when forced to pick which stock he would buy right now, he picks Ford. He says he likes Ford's dividend, its cheaper valuation, the opportunity it has in China, and its more ambitious European plan. Check out the following video, in which Brendan talks with Fool contributor Andrew Tonner, for more on how these two big automakers compare.
