Commentary:
Now fully invested with today's new allocations of 25% each into C & S Funds. Will keep stops close to limit downside risk. F Fund is closing in on a sell. Today was the first down day F Fund had in quite a while and it appears the fund's momentum is slowing.
Current Action Limits & Allocation Percentages:
F Fund Sell all shares if TLT is < $94.80 and move proceeds to G Fund. Current portfolio allocation is 25%.
C Fund Sell all shares if SPY is < $121.23 and move proceeds to G Fund. Current portfolio allocation is 25%.
I Fund Sell all shares if EFA is < $54.61 and move proceeds to G Fund. Current portfolio allocation is 25%.
S Fund Sell all shares if $EMW or DWCP is < $5821.47 and move proceeds to G Fund. Current portfolio allocation is 25%.
G Fund Current allocation is nil.
How to Use the Action Limits:
Cut-off time for asset transfers is 1200 Eastern so check the price of the proxy ETF or index around 1145.
Compare the value of the ETF or index against the recommended action limit(s) and take action as indicated. Make sure asset transfers and asset allocations are the same percentages so you will be making at minimum two transactions when a change is warranted.
The TSP Web address for asset transfers and asset allocations is http://www.tsp.gov/account/index.html

Dear Friends,
The several thousand victims of Hurricane Katrina are attempting to recover from the massive killer storm which made its way across the Mid-Atlantic States this past week. Military and American Red Cross volunteers have been deployed to the hardest hit areas of Katrina’s destruction, supplying hundreds of thousands victims left homeless with critical necessities. By making a financial gift to Hurricane 2005 Relief, the Red Cross can provide shelter, food, counseling and other assistance to those in need. I'm making a financial donation at

and hope you can do the same to help our follow brothers and sisters in their critical time of need. If money isn't a viable option, please donate a pint of your blood. For every pint donated, I'm told it will save three lives.

Ed,
If your short is in the RUT, I'd cover the position as it is now trading above its 21-day and 50-day SMA. Also, fast MACD just gave a buy signal on the daily chart too.
If your short is in NDX, add to it on strenght up to NDX's 21-day SMA. However, if there's decisive volume thru the 21-day SMA, close the short and go to cash.
Good luck on whichever path you choose!
I was hoping it would get to 39.10 today so I could add to my short position...
DrWorm,
TLT is overextended. I'm keeping my stop tight. You can see what I'm doing from the long side by referencing #board-4258
Probably a good short is right around the corner...
Gizmo,
We are thinking alike. If the volume isn't decisive today and we get a bounce to 39.10, I'm going to add to my QQQQ short. What's your plan my friend?
