http://finance.yahoo.com/q/mh?s=KONG
-The main reason KONG went down from $10 is growth stopped. KONG is back on the growth path. Sales are forecast to increase to $20 MM range next quarter. The CEO is VERY Bullish about 2008 growth as outlined in Conference:

Strong 2008 growth

MXC: Analysis by paralysis? Lots of great sharp minds on this board, my only criticism is that sometimes there is overanalyzing.
I agree with littlefish's premise- keep it simple- Anyway you look at it, those well numbers are phenomenal for a tiny little 500 K float gas company.
Yes I own 22000 shares of that float.. nice!
MXC: Littlefish I came up with similar numbers, I am glad your analysis agrees with mine. Thats $.20 incrmental eps per quarter! MXC could now be earning over $1.2 per year. MXC will be going to teens IMO.
$20 VERY possible IMO. These are BIG wells for a small company like this!

ANTP Blowout numbers $.14 EPS $3.2 MM sales. $8.5 after hours. Last fall ANTP went to $11 on $.08 EPS. I excpect $11 Monday. With 2 MM float it moves fast.
ANTP Fair value $15 Minimum IMO. Astute investors who read the 10Q will discover the following:
$3.5 / share woeking capital
-Large real estate holdings- many ANTP investors on Yahoo say is worth at least $10 Million.
-Next quarter will be $3 MM + sales as well. From 10Q, 70% of $3.1 million backlog delivered in Q4. Thats $2.2 Million on cost basis- applying 40% margins gives $3.1 Million MINIMUM sales for Q4 without pass through revenue.
The combined backlog of firm orders at Antenna Products Corporation and Phazar
Antenna Corp. was $3.1 million on February 29, 2008. This compares to $2.3
million in backlog on February 28, 2007. Approximately 70% of the $3.1 million
in backlog will be delivered in the balance of the 2008 fiscal year.
Thats already 2.2 million in revs right there! excluding other sales. Vs q4 of 2007 revs of 1 million.. looks like year over year growth of 250-300% coming. I'd say thats good guidance
ANTP Blowout numbers $.14 EPS $3.2 MM sales. $8 after hours. Last fall ANTP went to $11 on $.08 EPS
VCGH earnings monday VCGH went from $13 to $5 on this filing fiasco now will get done on time and this growth story should bounce rather hard considering where it was before this issue brought it down.
VCGH EARNINGS MONDAY. HUGE. VCGH went from $13 to $5 on this filing fiasco now will get done on time and this growth story should bounce rather hard considering where it was before this issue brought it down....
always the most common fallacy- that authorized shares = dilution.
every company has authorized > actual shares.
Rice prices RECORD HIGH CNOA exploding 9 MM float
Rice climbed to a record for a fourth day as the Philippines 9-Apr-08 10:47 am Rice climbed to a record for a fourth day as the Philippines, the biggest importer, announced plans to buy 1 million tons and some of the world's largest exporters cut sales to ensure they can feed their own people.
Rice, the staple food for half the world, gained 2.4 percent to $21.50 per 100 pounds in Chicago, double the price a year ago. Philippine President Gloria Arroyo announced two rice tenders yesterday and pledged to crack down on hoarding. Anyone found guilty of "stealing rice from the people" will be jailed, she said.
"We're in for a tough time," Roland Jansen, chief executive officer of Pfaffikon, Switzerland-based Mother Earth Investments AG, said yesterday. Unless prices decline "you will have huge problems of daily nutrition for half the planet". Mother Earth holds about 4 percent of its $100 million funds in the grain.
A number of countries including Egypt, Vietnam and India, accounting for more than a third of global rice exports, curbed sales this year to protect domestic stockpiles. The World Bank in Washington says 33 nations from Mexico to Yemen may face "social unrest" after food and energy costs increased for six consecutive years.
The Philippines, which imports about 15 percent of its rice, is tightening controls over domestic sales and buying more overseas. The government's rice tenders are in April and May.
"I am leading the charge" against any officials and businessmen who divert supplies or distort the price of the staple food, Arroyo said in a televised speech yesterday.
"The need to avert social tensions from high food prices" has made "food sufficiency even more urgent", Abah Ofon, a soft-commodities analyst with Standard Chartered Plc, said in a report yesterday. Food importers may not be able to meet their needs because of the export limits, Dubai-based Ofon said.
Philippines imports
The Philippines may raise imports of milled rice by as much as 42 percent to 2.7 million tons this year from 1.9 million tons in 2007 to discourage speculation by local traders, Agriculture Secretary Arthur Yap said March 26.
Commodity prices are posting their seventh year of gains. The UBS Bloomberg Constant Maturity Commodity Index of 26 raw materials more than tripled in the past six years as global demand outpaced supplies of metals and crops.
Rising food prices are fueling global inflation. Wholesale costs in India rose 7 percent in the week ended March 22, the fastest pace in more than three years.
Soaring prices could lead to increased unrest, such as in Haiti recently, the United Nations said in a report yesterday.
Four people died in two days of rioting last week over food prices in Haiti, the western hemisphere's poorest country, the organization said on its website.
'Less food'
"What we see in Haiti is what we're seeing in many of our operations around the world - rising prices that mean less food for the hungry," the report said, citing the United Nations World Food Program's executive director Josette Sheeran.
Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Egypt, Indonesia, Ivory Coast, Mauritania, Mozambique and Senegal have also experienced unrest in the last several weeks related to food and fuel prices, according to the report.
"We are starting to see conflict and civil unrest," Francisco Blanch, who heads global commodities research in London at Merrill Lynch & Co, said yesterday. "Central banks will have to start taking measures to slow the inflation pain down."
The Philippine government had asked fast-food chains and restaurants to serve half portions of rice to cut waste, farm secretary Yap said on March 19... (more)

BEIJING, April 8 (Xinhua) -- Venturepharm Laboratories Ltd. (VPL), a Beijing-based pharmaceutical service provider, announced here on Monday it had purchased 39 percent of shares of the U.S. medicine group Commonwealth Biotechnologies, Inl. (CBI).
The company said in a statement it became CBI's biggest stockholder with the purchase of 2.15 million shares, the first Chinese enterprise that had bought into a Nasdaq-listed drug firm.
The Hong Kong-listed VPL had the right to expand the share holding, said the statement. The value of the purchase was not disclosed.
The two companies would jointly set up a research center in China, according to the statement.
A leading new drug researcher in China, the VPL would target the global market in future, said VPL chairman Bill Guo.
The new joint venture would make full use of China's low-cost business environment and move the research and development (R&D) center to the country, which could reduce the CBI's R&D costs by 70 percent, said Guo.

THIS WEEKS LOW FLOAT MONSTER: ANTP spiked to $11 + on $.09 EPS in October. Based on the highest work - in -progress in 4 years, $1.8 Million at end of November and ANTP's projections in November 10Q I project about $2.3 MM sales and $.15 EPS this quarter (Note that work in progress is at cost, it is sold of course at a profit margin typically in 30% - 40% range).
If ANTP went to $11 on $.09 EPS, it could be a real winner with $.15 EPS IMO. With a 2 MM float ANTP moves fast on good news.

Plus like I said in prior posts, ANTP has in thwe past been awarded work from Lockheed consortium which won a 750 MM contract on Friday.
ANTP 2 MM float, spiked to $11 + on $.09 EPS in October.

Cina you say? EFUT almost $16 after hours. News Leak? This is my favorite China stock because with its tiny float it has often doubled or tripled in one day. Pro forma EPS should be $1.3 in 2008 with 80% sales growth.
I like ATEA as possibly another INSW that could zoom to double digits (I bought INSW at $3).
-Tiny 2 MM float.
$.25 EPS last quarter.
-ATEA has benfitted from huge international growth (50% of sales outside U.S.) and weak US dollar this quarter could be another blowout.
-Best hedge fund out there, Renaiisance technologies owns a lot.
