FWIW I did in fact speak to 2 neighboring businesses in Memphis today. I'll spare the details as I realize some of you are uninterested or nonreceptive to them, but suffice to say that the office in Memphis does exist and appears to be a busy place of business at this time. I still have a couple of questions that I will now address to Andrew Friedel, but I am content in my belief that there are many more trucks arriving and that they are busy making money that will eventually improve the value of this stock. The audit is the only thing that will satisfy the majority of those involved in this stock or watching it, however I for one have as much proof as I currently need to take the financial risk on this speculation. Keep up the good debate and sharing of questions and answers.
Stocks trading in the UK. They have a great site of research tools and for following and trading european markets, but have just recently started covering the US markets more closely. There are a few boards there that deal specifically with US stocks. All the big board stocks are covered, not many OTC's and Pinkies though. A couple of us here have accounts over there and trade a bit in that market.
Other than UK stocks, advfn would be of most use to those who trade and track commodities and other more global markets.

thanks Jim, I've watched that one for about 3 years now. Its had a few good trading opportunities, but overall there is no substance to it. Although I don't post here often this is one of my favorite boards here on Ihub. Keep up the great work.
JR
No offence, but DNGO is a bit of a scam. It is run by an 'organization' with a terrible reputation around Montreal. It might be a good trading opportunity, but check out their history going back to past symbols PWNI, PWIN, etc. Go read the raging bull board and look at how all the touters and pumpers quickly got a dose of reality and screwed over by the IR company pumping it. D'angelo only went public to leech money out of the cannery and to finance 'the business'. Very scary people involved in that one, watch yourself.
Your order never appeared as the bid at any time today. Can you contact your broker and check where your order was routed to? I'f you in fact had that order placed it would have to appear, yet it did not.
While not addressed to me, I will point out that those 'new members' are all from Jim Lur's crew and probably all signed up for some sort of premium membership today. You can click on them and see that they all were created on Jan 2 or 3rd, right when Jims crew came aboard.

Lemieux, Jagr reunite as All-Stars
January 11, 2003 Print it
Final All-Star vote totals
NEW YORK -- Mario Lemieux and Jaromir Jagr are teammates again, this time as Eastern Conference All-Stars.
Lemieux, the NHL's leading scorer with 68 points, was picked by fans to be the East's starting center. He will be joined on the forward line by former Pittsburgh Penguins teammate Jagr, now with the Washington Capitals, and current teammate Alexei Kovalev.
Nikolai Khabibulin, who helped the Tampa Bay Lightning to the top of Southeast Division, will start in goal for the East. Brian Leetch of the New York Rangers (who's injured and probably won't play) and Sandis Ozolinsh of the host Florida Panthers received the most votes among Eastern defensemen in balloting released Saturday.
Detroit Red Wings defenseman Nicklas Lidstrom was the top overall vote-getter for the second consecutive year with 164,568. He will man the Western blue line with Colorado's Rob Blake.
"It's nothing that I really expected," Lidstrom said. "But it's nice to get the recognition, not just in Detroit, but around the league as well."
The West's starting forwards are Dallas' Mike Modano and Bill Guerin, and San Jose's Teemu Selanne. Patrick Roy of Colorado, the goalie with the most career NHL wins, will start in the West's net.
Guerin, Khabibulin, Kovalev and Modano are first-time starters.
"I think there's a little more to it being voted, being recognized by people around the league," Modano said. "That makes it exciting, adds a little bit to it."
The full rosters for the 53rd All-Star game will be announced Thursday. The game is Feb. 2 in Sunrise, Fla.
It will be the 11th appearance for Lemieux, the Penguins' captain and owner, who received 155,172 votes, best in the East. He and Jagr played together in Pittsburgh for eight seasons, winning Stanley Cups in 1991 and 1992.
But they haven't been on the same team since Jagr was traded to Washington before last season.
They didn't even line up together in the 2002 All-Star game, because the league was in the final year of the North America against the World format that debuted in 1998 to coincide with the first appearance of NHL players in the Olympics.
Lemieux plays for Canada; Jagr for the Czech Republic.
If Lemieux recovers in time from the injured groin that kept him out of Pittsburgh's past two games, he will have the chance to break a tie with Wayne Gretzky for the most career All-Star goals. Both have 13; Lemieux has played in eight fewer games.
Gretzky's 25 points are two more than Lemieux has. The two Hall of Famers are the only players who have been All-Star MVP three times.
Lemieux has made the team each season since returning from his 3 1/2-year retirement in 1999.
Jagr, who earned his 11th straight starting assignment, is only second on the Capitals in scoring. He received 122,725 votes.
Kovalev was voted to his second All-Star game on the strength of being the NHL's third-leading scorer, tied with Boston's Joe Thornton with 52 points.
"Before, just being at the All-Star Game was a great feeling. But now, having a chance to be in the starting lineup is a great opportunity," Kovalev said. "It definitely gives you a lift for the future, that you've been recognized as one of the good players."
Ozolinsh, third on the Panthers with 25 points, was voted an All-Star starter for the sixth time in seven appearances. Leetch, who has missed 18 games because of a bruised left ankle, was an All-Star nine times in his previous 15 NHL seasons.
Khabibulin, 18-16-4 with a 2.64 goals-against average, made his fourth All-Star team.
Lidstrom, a seven-time All-Star, has 31 points and is plus-16 with the Stanley Cup champions. Blake was elected to his sixth All-Star game and fifth straight.
"It's always an honor to be chosen to the All-Star team by the fans," Blake said. "It's something that never gets old."
Guerin, the 2001 All-Star MVP in his only appearance, has 20 goals and 21 assists in his first season with the Stars. Only Modano has more points (49) for the Stars.
"It's a big deal to me," Guerin said. "I mean, I haven't been to 10 of them. It's an honor."
Dallas handed out campaign buttons in hopes of getting its first players elected. It worked -- twice -- with Guerin and Modano.
"It's a surprise with the guys they've had through here and with the way the fans are," Guerin said. "But it works out funny sometimes."
Dallas' Marty Turco, among the league leaders in wins and goals-against average, received 33,320 write-in votes.
"There have been years when I deserved to be there and wasn't, so it evens out," Roy said. "I'm sure he'll be there someday."
Roy, on the verge of becoming the first goalie to play 1,000 games, is 13-10-9 to extend his wins record to 529. He's headed to his 11th All-Star game.
Selanne will play in his ninth. The MVP of the 1998's All-Star Game, Selanne has 20 goals and 14 assists. He had two goals in the World's 8-5 victory last year in Los Angeles.
Another one falls!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sabres file for bankruptcy protection
Last Updated Mon, 13 Jan 2003 12:36:45
BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Buffalo Sabres hockey club has filed for bankruptcy protection.
The team is believed to have liabilities of about $238 million US, and assets of about $68 million US.
The National Hockey League confirmed the filing Monday morning.
FROM JAN. 9, 2002: Judge grants Ottawa Senators bankruptcy protection
The Sabres are the second NHL team to file for bankruptcy protection in the past week. Ottawa Senators filed on Thursday, owing creditors $160 million.
The Sabres filing was expected, and will give the team time to restructure and stabilize its financial situation, Buffalo Mayor Anthony Masiello said.
RELATED
• Coverage from CBC Sports
Buffalo businessman Mark Hamister has been trying to buy the Sabres, but is waiting for financial backing from the state of New York.
The NHL is operating the team, a club without an owner. The NHL took over the team's operations after the financial downfall of owner John Rigas and his Adelphia Communications Corp., which is also currently under bankruptcy protection.
Adelphia is the team's largest creditor, and is owed $157 million US.
Bankruptcy protection allows a business to continue operating even if it is out of money. Once under court protection, lenders will advance failing companies more money, secure in the knowledge that they will go to the top of the creditors' list.
"This filing is another step toward the resolution of Buffalo's issues," NHL commissioner Gary Bettman said in a statement.
"It will enable the Sabres to secure financing that will allow them to continue to operate in the ordinary course, subject to league supervision, while the sale process is completed."

hi there qcho,
Robert is away until thrusday. I'll see if I can dig up a post on the 5in/5out for you though.
JR
Hi bpoole,
we have a hundred or more ADVFN investors here already, but they all seem a bit shy. I'll encourage them to come out of their shell and get some discussion going.
Welcome to ihub.
Yes, Memphis businesses. That should be where truck activity is happening.
JR
it just didn't make sense, the first or the second time i read it, ha ha ha
yes, I apologise. I think your opinion is quite valid and am sure there are many posters and lurkers who agree with you. In the past I have been succesful at discoveirng both positive and negative things about companies which I have been researching and can directly attribute profits to information gathered from this type of gorilla due diligence. In one instance I found a company i was invested in had abandoned their office, weeks before it became public knowledge.
Realistically, all I want to know is if the lights are on, if there is business taking place there, and if there has been a recent string of new trucks arriving in the yard.
If I could simply contact Daimler Chrysler and have them confirm to me that they have approved the financing on X number of trucks and that X number have been delivered. That would reassure me that VLVT has been honest with that info and that they are extremely credit worthy. However, since that isn't likely to happen, I am seeking third party confirmation that there are in fact many new trucks been placed on the road by VLVT.
sorry to come off rude
JR
wow you've been drinking? ha ha ha
A quick RANT. I hate it when you are stealing US satellite signal and your card goes all glitchy at key moments of an event. Hypothetically speaking of course, cause I don't know anyone who would do such a thing.
JR
If I may interject,
letting the approved members start boards is okay, but I would maybe restrict the director/chairman positions to subscribers. Specifically because you have more info on us subscribers and we are therefore a little more 'responsible' with our actions than a free poster may be. So basically, i think the freebees should be allowed to start boards, but control and moderation of those boards stays with you guys or at least with paid members.
I believe that if I was trying to be sneaky, I would refrain from revealing my intentions 2 days in advance on a public message board.
As for the neighbors I am aware of, a cellphone sales place, a sign shop, a safety supply place, etc. I don't think I will be taking anyone away from anything too terribly demanding that a phone call will ruin their day. Regardless, I am making the calls.
Hope you don't think it will cause irreprable harm to your investment and thanks for the passionate discussion, but it's my money and I will do whatever digging I wish.
JR
Don't be such a chickenchit, but some stock.

10. Jameel McCline (28-3-3). After non-effort vs. Wladimir Klitschko, a rematch vs. Michael Grant makes sense. Next: TBA.
