This is the culmination of five years of trial and error to perfect their electrocoagulation system with its patent that was approved in December.
SHMP'S TECHNOLOGY, unlike raceways, is also applicable to many species of fish besides shrimp.
Raceways (sorry for misusing word) have nothing to do with water conditioning.
They are set up so as shrimp grow they move into different containment.
They create better efficiency with the biofloc systems at hand.
SHMP has created the first technology using electrocoagulation to clean water of ammonia and harmful bacteria without the use of chemicals or antibiotics.
Biofloc has not successfully been able to grow fish in the same density as SHMP's technology, which has prove to grow shrimp at 4x density coparative.
All racetracks are container systems and all using them use biofloc. While they seem to increase the viability of shrimp, they don't increase the number in any degree or in any density comparable to SHMP'S use of electrocoagulation.
Racetracking has nothing to do with controlling water clarity.
The Texas TPWD certifies fish harvests as safe for sale and consumption. They approved all and inspected the entire facility as well.
Today's report of success of technology: http://www.weny.com/story/40043446/naturalshrimp-inc-completes-testing-its-patented-technology
The biofloc racetracks are only applicable to shrimp.
You're talking apples and oranges in any case, racetracks are containment systems, biofloc and shmp's new technology are water treatment solutions for RAS systems.
There's no reason the racetracks couldn't eventually have SHMP'S technology used with them for shrimp raising, and in the meantime, shmp technology can be immediately applicable to raising other fish, like salmon.
yes, it's disruptive technology!
Because the system will be so competitive with the biofloc technology as to replace it for seriously large scale commercial fish suppliers, and in the US that may mean cutting out the middleman and setting up their own warehouses with this technology (in other words, SHMP may be offered buyouts by a large company).
Because it costs less money to run, and it takes less manpower.
And from everything seen so far, the density of animals is 4x the capacity of biofloc.
The TPWD approved the shrimp for sale and consumption.
Obviously, their technology has succeeded.
The system works.
The shrimp have been approved for harvesting, sale, and consumption.
In the short of it, the TPWD gave the facility and shrimp a clean bill of health.
They harvested!. The TPWD put the stamp on the success of their RAS electrocoagulation system...the first of its kind, by approving what it saw.
The TPWD only inspects at time of harvest to approve the shrimp for sale and consumption.
They've successfully maintained the water quality.
This is the green light for the technology.
A success!
Success! "Proven patented capability"
The only thing they've held back is viability numbers, but they have good reason to if they are negotiating with buyers and competitive systems using biofloc right before this convention.
We have the gist of it from the months prior and comments by visitors.
The most important thing right now is there were viable shrimp approved for sale by the TPWD.
And the water did indeed retain its ammonia, bacterial levels in the safe zone after months of growing, as stated by the CEO, and as confirmed by the safe pass by the TPWD on the harvesting of the shrimp for consumption.
Meaning THE SYSTEM IS SUCCESSFUL.
THE FIRST RAS ELECTROCOAGULATION SYSTEM will be heavy competition for any existing system using other technology.
Great DD.
The patented technology has succeeded and the shrimp have been cleared for harvesting and sale and consumption by the TPWD.
There will always be people who don't understand technology breakthroughs.
Success! "This third and final test pilot was designed to verify that the NaturalShrimp patented method would successfully control these water quality parameters over the entire growth period of a shrimp lot."
"“The method worked extremely well and maintained the water control parameters within acceptable limits through the grow-out period,” said Bill G. Williams, Chairman and CEO."
"The Company said it was cleared to harvest shrimp on February 21st, 2019 by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD). The TPWD is a Texas State Agency that oversees and protects wildlife and their habitats. The TPWD also conducted an onsite inspection of the shrimp and the Company’s production facility on February 22nd, 2019."
Very exciting developments ahead in my opinion.
I'm excited to be an investor at this time when they show up at the aquaculture convention.
The system is a success.
The range of success we already know starts at a conservative 2.16 a share if they had numbers equaling biofloc.
But what puts over its success is even if the numbers matched biofloc RAS system, the system itself costs MUCH LESS MONEY to run.
If the shrimp viability does approach 100 percent, the value of the company rises to 3.60 a share.
Either way, it is already a given that an RAS system that has succeeded with electrocoagulation is a more attractive system for large scale output.
It will be so to bigger companies who may want to cut out the middleman and raise their own fish.
It's because of misunderstanding of the implications here.
The FIRST RAS system using ELECTROCOAGULATION has successfully raised shrimp that have passed the TPWD inspection.
For anyone not understanding this company, this system can reduce costs enormously in fish farming in a sustained, ecologically beneficial manner, away from our oceans...in any warehouse, anywhere.
It uses less money to run, it uses less manpower to run.
Feed is automated.
No chemicals are needed to keep the water clean.
Releasing the pertinent info that they passed the TPWD inspection, and that the water levels remained stable, was smart.
Creating crazy buying in here with specific numbers would have destabilized the stock at this point.
They know what they're doing.
Rather have a rise that gets above 1 and stays there than meteoric and then everyone abandoning the company at this stage.
For hobbyists who grow fish, even as pets, there is a better understanding of what was just accomplished.
It is difficult to keep ammonia levels down and tanks clean, even in two gallons of water.
Their system is cracking a code in being able to do so with electricity and not simply relying on either chemicals, filters, biofloc technology that involves balancing the good with the bad bacteria.
And congrats to the F&T team as well!
CONGRATULATIONS to NATURAL SHRIMP by the way.
Great hurdle they just crossed.
This is the first successful RAS system using electrocoagulation. This is a SUCCESS.
The fish were CLEARED AS HEALTHY for sale and consumption.
Even if their numbers equal bioflocs the system is way cheaper to run and man, saving untold dollars for companies that make a choice between this and biofloc.
Selling now is insane.
I'm going to buy like crazy when my money clears tomorrow.
The system is wildly successful. They maintained parameters of keeping these animals alive through the entire growing period at a higher density than biofloc ever could.
And the TPWD cleared the shrimp for sale and consumption.
IT IS THE FIRST OF ITS KIND RAS SYSTEM USING ELECTROCOAGULATION which costs pennies to run, low manpower.
The most important data is the TPWD cleared the shrimp for sale and consumption.
Most important.
And that the water levels through the entire process stayed within the ammonia and bacterial parameters.
So the system works.
The numbers are held back because they're probably keeping the extent of success under wraps before the convention because they may have bids on a buyout and want to have a negotiating factor, as the final numbers are their bargaining chip to avoid lowballing.
They're doing what they have to do right now to get the most money.
The water levels sustained adequately through the process...that means ammonia levels and bacteria levels.
And the clean bill of health. The Texas approval means the seafood is cleared for sale is what it means.
They're holding back the numbers to release closer to the convention and media release.
Coy but adequate for now.
There has to be big biz coming down the pike to stay this quiet.
Definitely. It more than doubled today.
I can't believe people are not buying in at these levels before the reort.
Seriously last chance to risk shares today it is highly possible and probable this report will show up tomorrow.
The only reason it wouldn't is some strategic decision to hold off until just before the aquaculture convention next week on the 7th. There may be a reason they want to keep the info quiet before the convention.
Still would appreciate some news tomorrow either way as an update, as we were led to expect a report by tomorrow.
Actually they ordered additional electrocoagulation units last week, indicative that the tests were successful of the patent.
That quote of march 5 was from a bogus individual claiming to be Mr. Delgado's nephew on here. There is no such person as Mr. Delgado was apprised.
In general ignore info on here that isn't from the company, as the hearsay that seems more credible, that WSJ will do an article next month, didn't come directly from one of the owners either but from someone saying they were repeating hearsay from the recent event in California.
Anything 65 to 100 is positive news.
Because the biofloc system can't produce fish in this density that survive in the numbers they can with shmp's electrocoagulation system.
Nor can they operate it at the low cost and low manpower that SHMP'S system can do.
So either way it's a win win.
Because this system is so much more efficient and cost worthy and produces more fish per tank of the same size.
Keep all this in mind.
The Harbinger report that said the company would be worth 2.16 within a year as long as the patent proved effective said it was at 40 percent discount at modest success.
I did a little math and come up with 60/100=2.16/x giving me a best of $3.60 a share at full viability.
That isn't to say the stock wouldn't be worth much more.
the report also said, of course, that if the test proved unsuccessful completely, the company would probably go under.
And with all that in mind my theory is there will be, or may already be on the table buyout offers and that price would be dependent on the viability scale...lower or higher...because either way, this technology allows a huge company, like say a Tysons, to cut out the wholesaler and open their own farms around the country, and remove the issues with the contaminated fish coming in from the far east.
Yo so that WSJ statement originally was requoted from someone at a California event featuring NS's shrimp this past week as an "overheard", but not anyone who owns the company, and the statement said "next month".
It then was supposedly dated by a faux "nephew" of one of the owners...so ignore.
In general, throw out any hearsay not coming from one of these CEO's.
Secondly expect PUBLICITY this coming week because there is a huge aquaculture convention coming up March 7 that I believe Letezia said they would be making some noise at (or should I say a "splash") and they do have a p.r. firm called E&E communications in Texas.
I've suggested if anyone wants specifics their best bet may be to simply call their public relations firm and ask...but I think whatever they may unveil may be quiet until March 7 or just before, and even possibly this expected Harvest Report that we've not been able to get much on except probably end of February.
SKITTERING out of oversold territory.
Congrats to all who netted those 4s today.
Last hour and a half to get in on this thing before tomorrow.
HIGHER lows charting very clearly by the way.
Agreed, and there are many forums on this stock all over the web with the same sort of language happening about SHMP. Long investors will have to WEATHER the storm on this shrimp boat, but we know what's coming next so no worries.
CLEAR SKIES!
There will be that surge at end of day it really is inevitable for anyone that has the slightest reality following what's been going on with SHMP.
Meanwhile, attempts to profit off a dime will continue until the momentum pushes it into green.
