I've yet to see anybody prove that someone was in fact paid to bash....
Would love to see it, if you have an example.
I've actually got a pair of these jeans. Didn't realize they were public. nice jeans!
>>matt, still no reply on the 5 day chart.. any luck with us getting a 5 day so we dont just have a one day all the way to 30 day?
Honest answer is it is way back burner stuff....mr pointy-colored hair thought it'd be an easy quick fix but quickly get mired in the complexity of it.
It's still on my hit list for when I get the chance to beat him up over features I really want.
Do keep pinging me about it every month or so, though.
Roger, while I'm open to reasonable discussion on this topic, it's definitely going to be a monthly fee.
It's truly a slap in the face to iHub/its userbase to balk at a paltry $95 fee to use this site for commercial purposes.
Could you send me a link to where you'd get quotes on the CNQ so I can poke around a bit on this topic, first?
They are professional/commercial users. Most other sites charge them a higher rate. They're making money here, so they should be happy to pay the fee so they can disclose properly....not to mention they'll have an icon to show they're above board and acting professionally.
If they want to 'keep it quiet' and run the risk of being caught by someone and then sanctioned by the SEC over $95, they're more than welcome to do that.
You're set...info here #msg-32819922
To all:
No political chatter, please. There's loads of offtopic/politcal boards to post on - please ensure all posts here are about FORD...
Fixed. They had some kind of media in there.
Simple policy: If at any time you'd be required to have a disclaimer when you're posting, you must be an active IRP.
I believe you're referring to one of these, yeah?

>>Are we allowed to have stock boards on here in the CNQ? I sent a PM to admin but guess they are busy. TIA Jean
Yes, just put 'em under the Canadian category, eh.
I've popped it into the ADVFN system.

I restored you from termination based on the understanding you wanted out at some point. Being obnoxious isn't going to get you out of here, Cupcake.
You owe me a bottle of that wine from the winery down the street from your crib.
I've asked him before; I've just deleted the post and sent another warning. NExt one he gets suspended for a month.
ADVFN on iPhone....
Anybody that could test this out - that'd be groovy. I don't have an iPhone and can't think of anybody with one...all my peeps are Crackberries.
The features included on iPhone include:
World Indices
Quote
Chart
Trades
Level 2
BB (UK and International, not IH/SI of course) - reading only
Monitor
Forex
News (Selected sources only with limited searching)
Data is static, not streaming, but will be realtime so long as you have realtime on the site.
To access it all you need to do is to access the site (www.advfn.com) with an iPhone and it will auto-detect and redirect.
He always comes back; his entertainment value is quite high. however, I'm going to restrict him for the weekend, he seems to do the booger sugar late at night/weekends.
Once upon a time, in a village, a man appeared and announced to the villagers that he would buy monkeys for $10 each. The villagers, seeing that there were many monkeys around, went out to the forest and started catching them. The man bought thousands at $10. And, as supply started to diminish, the villagers stopped their effort.
He then announced that he would now buy at $20 for a monkey. This renewed the efforts of the villagers and they started catching monkeys again. Soon the supply diminished even further and people started going back to their farms. The offer increased to $25 each, and the supply of monkeys became so small that it was an effort to even find a monkey, let alone catch it!
The man now announced that he would buy monkeys at $50! However, since he had to go to the city on some business, his assistant would now buy on behalf of him.
In the absence of the man, the assistant told the villagers. "Look at all these monkeys in the big cage that the man has collected. I will sell them to you at $35, and when the man returns from the city, you can sell them to him for $50 each."
The villagers could barely believe their good fortune, scraped up all their savings, and bought all the monkeys.
They never saw the man nor his assistant again, only monkeys, everywhere...
Now you have a better understanding of how Wall Street works.
The icon in your profile will always be there.
The little graphic you're seeing in posts - if you look just below the text area/box when you're composing a post, you'll see a checkbox that says - insert disclaimer - yes/no. Untick that and the image won't be there.
Might need to move that above the text area.....
Excellent, Tina. Poke around a bit; let me know of anything you'd like to see.
Investor Relations Program v1.0 Official Launch
Today we are officially launching the iHub Investors Relations Professional (IRP) Program. The most important parts of the code discussed originally ( #msg-31947905 ) are now live.
Example of a post with an IRP disclaimer on it:
#msg-32866560
Example of an IRP disclaimer/page (will work as soon as he's activated subscription):
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/irp.aspx?userid=124429
Soon to be populated central listing of iHub IRPs:
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/irp_members.aspx
Still to do - GUI improvements; My Stocks page; more functionality on central listing page.
Cost: $95/per month/per user (doesn't auto-renew). To subscribe, go to your own IRP page - accessible to View and Edit at any time via Tools:
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/my_account.asp
Deadline: All professional/commerical users, collecitvely referred to as IRPs, need to activate their subscription by October 22, 2008; or your account will be suspended.
IRPs: Please give us any feedback on features you'd like to see. Ideas to make the status more professional/prestigous. Please remove all disclaimer links/outside site links from your
signature - this is now the only way to disclose while posting on iHub. Should you need to disclose anywhere else besides a message, please use your iHub IRP disclaimer link.
Simple policy: If at any time you'd be required to have a disclaimer when you're posting, you must be an active IRP.
iHubbers: If you're aware of any professional/commerical users on the site who haven't signed up as an IRP, please point them out to me via Private Message with links/documentation.
There is a lot of information available by clicking on "Tell Me More About IRPs" on any IRP page.
We hope this is a big improvement to the iHub community, for all. Thanks to Dave and the Admin Team for devoting a helluva a lot of time and brain power to thinking this out and coding it into life.

FOr name; just your name. Position would be whatever your job is....
>>1. How can I see more than 5 L2s? Should I open multiple windows, each with a different 5 symbols?
Yes - the solution there is opening more than one browser window.
>>2. Is there a way to have the L2 settings be saved? E.g., When I log out, then back in, I want the L2 symbols I set up to still be there.
Sorry, it currently doesn't save your Level 2 settings.
>>3. Is there a L2 user guide / manual I can use for these types of questions?
There's a Level 2 video tutorial being added to the Level 2 page - it's done and dusted - just needs to be coded/added by the Nerds.
Are you talking about the streaming charts?
Have you added the volume study (it's above the chart)?
Clem was on CNBC this morning with some interesting commentary on the market...

You're fixed, homeslice.
You got it. Here's the info #msg-32836602
You're set for a week...info here: #msg-32836602
test
FYI - there are no requirements on the ibox. You're welcome to make a suggestion for it - but leave it at that - it's up to the Mod to put it in or not.
I hereby certify Churak's answer as Admin-approved. #msg-32864052
Allan,
I requested that feature a few days ago; they told me it already existed and showed me that column; I turned it on and experienced the same thing - no actual news alerts. I've reported it to the feed guy - suspect it's just not checking for all the news feeds I asked them to stick in for the US users (BW,MW,PRN). I'll update you once they've told me it's fixed....

Hi Tina,
We won't have a booth there, but myself and one of the Brits will be in town to make the rounds to the various vendors.
Anybody else going?
OK, you're set up for a week....
* LOG OUT OF IHUB/CLEAN COOKIES OUT
* Log back in to iHub, click Streamer and/or Level 2 at the top of the site.
* Take a look at tools to play with: http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/advfn_tools.aspx
More good ideas:
few addtl thoughts on streamer,
ability to highlight particular stock symbol row to stand out from the business of others.
also,
ability to move headers columns to adjust for personal liking
Font size too. Drives me mad.
Level 2 is in realtime....
Not even close; the guy is at least comprehensible.
Could you please point this user out to me?
