Nope, I guess the float was mistakenly reported on the board as 28M and has since been corrected to 38M, today. Which is still good, imo.
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=50171071
Apparently, investors can call the company directly to confirm. The TA does not give out the float only the OS. I did confirm the OS with the TA via email.
SHARE STRUCTURE 5/13
A/S is 500MM
O/S 203,548,026
Float 38M
Stock Transfer 6860 Dallas Pkwy
Plano, TX 75024
(972) 381-2782
Like those .15's coming in for eod. PPS holding strong today.
Working on that angle too. :) Unfortunately Kevin Costner's brother is a scientist who has a solution of his own for oil clean up for the soil I believe. They are preoccupied with that.
Lot's of other celebrities out there though that have an interest in this type of clean up.
No worries. 38 million is still a very low float and impressive.
Next PR should have more news regarding sales/contracts, I would think. Waiting and watching. And continuing to send out emails about MOP to individual reporters and environmental groups.
Could we get the current share structure in the ibox please.
Thanks g-ianni!

I spoke to Wayne King today and verified the 0/S at 203,548,026 and the float at 28 mil shares, 1-603-747-2200 fwiw
Excellent news. Everything is starting to move in a positive direction for Equity again. Very nice :)em.
Going to check it out thanks. :)
Actually, I thought it meant they were working on making the product that MOP has available, ready for up coming orders?? hmmmm.
There's always a mix of day traders and investors on every board. Lots of opportunity for both. As day traders run this on news a new base is building which is good for investors...many who have been here a long time.
This ran on only a few million shares...just think what will happen when news comes about sales.
Oh please, lol. CEO looks like a hardworking dedicated businessman of 35 years to me.

Charles Diamond -
CEO / Corporate President / Engineer / Inventor, BSEE, Northeastern University
Corporate Management with experience in: Manufacturing Plant Design, Product Development, Design and Fabrication of Electro-Mechanical and Hydraulic Production Equipment, Water-Power & Hydroelectric Power Plant Renovation, Alternative Electrical Energy Production, Licensing and Negotiation with State and Federal Agencies, Public Utility Contract Procurement, Patent and Trademark Preparation, Filing and Procurement, Product Sales and Marketing,.
Biographical Sketch: Over the past 35 years Charles Diamond has continuously raised the level of his personal achievements in the field of solving environmental problems. His most recent accomplishments have been inventing and patenting the products and technology to remediate and correct the tremendous global damage caused by oil spills in the environment. His MOP® Maximum Oil Pickup products and technology are made from clean industrial byproducts that are removed from the waste stream. Ingredients that are normally destined for landfill are converted into a low cost product that removes oil spills from land and water. His patented MOP™ Technology quickly restores oil saturated land and water to its former use. Land habitat is recovered for wildlife and formerly productive land is recovered for agriculture, and recreation. Water habitat is restored to allow healthy aquatic life, fishing and recreation.
MOP™ products are manufactured using clean water power to generate the electrical energy for production thereby conserving fossil fuels.
* From 1972 to present specialized in developing novel uses for materials otherwise destined for landfills, creating new pathways for their reuse in helpful products.
* Invented a unique environmental solution that safely and efficiently picks up oil spills, recovering the oil to be reused while at the same time reversing the damage done to the environment.
* Developed and implemented many advanced products and machinery using patented technology that neutralize the harmful effects of all major types of oil spills.
* Achieved US and foreign patents for breakthrough methods to reclaim spilled oil on all surfaces, indoors and outdoors on land and on water.
* In 1994, the manufacturing of a proprietary oil recovery product from an industrial waste by-product that was formerly glutting landfills was put into operation. This effectively changed an environmental problem into the environmental solution to remediate oil spills of most every type.
* The first plant to manufacture the patented oil recovery product, MOP® Maximum Oil Pickup was perfected with production improvements in 1995. This improved plant had a multiple shift capacity to manufacture enough material to recover up to 500,000 lbs of spilled oil a day.
* !n 1990, set up the only manufacturing plant in New Hampshire that made insulation from waste newspaper. This insulation continues to provide the surrounding community with more than $2,000,000 annually in fuel savings, from the more than 10 million pounds of insulation that was manufactured and is now installed in homes. This undertaking continues to stimulate the local economy with $2,000,000 annually in more spend-able income while reducing our consumption of earth’s finite fossil fuels and simultaneously reducing air pollution that would otherwise result.
* In 1985, completed restoration and put into service a vintage 1902 hydroelectric power plant in the town of Bath, NH. This plant now supplies two million kilowatt hours of renewable energy into the electrical grid also reducing our dependence on fossil fuels and reducing the air pollution that would otherwise result. The annual electricity supplied from this water powered facility provides more electricity than the entire electric consumption of the town of Bath, NH where it is located.
lol no kidding. MOPN is not the stock to short with a small float.
Company is real and promoting itself effectively. Well done.
This is just the beginning.
With the right news this stock will run so hard there will be no catching it!
Good work today jeancerrien. Looks like a Green day all round :)
Exactly, as we get more news, this will run hard easily!
Must be a small float!!
http://mopnewsfeed.blogspot.com/
Should hit the news wires shortly, I would imagine.
Well done. Nice effort for keeping the media involved!
Can you or anyone else here forward MOP's catalogue to anyone you know or contacts in the Gulf or elsewhere?
I'll be passing it along to environmental groups.
Wow, very impressive and professionally done. Nice find beerput. em
Yeah, SEC has much bigger fish to fry right now. Such as GS. Pink sheet companies are there because filings and audits are cost prohibitive to start ups.
For the last two years, MOPN management have worked hard to build their company and so they have a strong business with real products.
That alone puts them ahead of many more pink sheets.
If you have any concerns contact the company directly. It's the only way to alleviate your concerns.
This will run with minimal volume because of the float. That other one ;) needed a lot more volume just to get a double for the day.
With news of contracts signed here it will take off. Just need the to CEO to put out an update PR or two.
It seems that the float is tight (small) and the pps will move up or down with little pressure. So when news hits, it'll run harder and higher.
Similar to the way JBI inc. ran.
Good info on MOPN Bert. MOPN is ready to take on this oil spill and no doubt there will be many more opportunities for this company, from now on. As MOP says, they are green from cradle to cradle.
Some are just looking for (trying to create) a lower entry point. Not the first time for this one either.
I think that there is a direct conflict with being a CTA and an IB, if I have my facts straight about how that process works. So 141 would have to withdraw their CTA to file for the IB.
Let's give it a bit to see if there are any new IB filings shortly, for 141.
Allie
Sent out his blog and this MOP info to environmental agencies. Looks like he's very active in the back ground.
The MOP booms are still good to go and usable.
That's only talking about it in it's loose form and temporarily, I believe.
Tuesday, May 11, 2010 Thanks for the heads up beerput!!!

The Planet Needs Your Help! Please help us get this information out!

According to the staff of Environmental Information Office at the Spill Response Command Center:
The Marine Biologists at NOAA have made a decision to ban the use of loose absorbants – even those certified as safe on open water by EPA,
1 container of MOP's (cradle-to-cradle green) Sorbent, certified safe for use in open water, can contain 75,000 gallons of spilled oil.
By comparison it takes 23,076 6’’ x 10’ polypropylene booms to accomplish the same amount of spill cleanup.
MOP Booms, which can and will be used on the spill are 4 times more effective than Polypropylene booms but even using high absorption booms like those we produce, you would still need more than 5000 booms to rival one truckload of loose absorbent.
1 Container of MOP loose sorbent costs $32,000
23,076 Booms cost: $865,350
The spill companies get rich while the problem grows. They love this system because they make their money on a long, slow, and expensive cleanup.
MOP is aggressive, oleophyllic and hydrophobic. It rejects water and locks up oil.
MOP will never sink below the surface, If it is blown in below the surface it will rise to the surface and will not sink , even when saturated with oil.
A Ban on Loose Sorbent is a Huge Mistake
They are already spraying loose dispersant which is a loose product that will exacerbate the long-term problem. Already tar balls are showing up on the beaches from using the dispersants. Why not apply loose absorbent that will actually contain the spill?
We need to demand that the Coast Guard, BP and the White House get the NOAA directive overturned.

Here are the links to the top 10 (and more) environmental organizations for anyone else who wants to contact them about MOP. Let them know that BP knew about MOP years ago.
Couldn't hurt.

Spread the word!
Just some impatient traders that don't leave their funds in any stock for more than a couple of days no matter how good the stock is.
MOPN will move with news of contracts...and based on what I've seen and researched, so far, MOP products are badly needed at this oil fiasco.
The pps is gaining ground again...looks like more new buying interest will gladly take shares from weak hands.
Good eye and save TraderLady and learning as I go. Nicely done!

UP DATE ( i want to re post this for those not here earlier)
OK, should be a pr Mon or Tuesday. he can talk up a storm. they have secretly placed ppl in the aria and in Fla. to demonstrate and promote there product. they are working with an insulation manufacturer to mass produce there product. still working on a deal with BP and Coast Guard. i asked if they were close to anything he would not say and only referred to the pr. (MOP as a resource) he stated that there is no other company that can clean up more efficiently. i then asked him if they were to be a big player in the clean up would they need to use subcontractors and he said they have already lined some up. maybe that was a slip up
he also went on to say Peat Moss was the next thing closest to there product and can only pick up 10 to 1 or 30 to 1 lb. per lb.
also said the poly propylene booms price have moved from $.20 to $2.00 per lb. and that is being looked at by government. also said company is not diluting but who is to say that employees are not selling. and that they are working on there pink sheets listing. and in the last 6 months they were legally re-aquiring there company from Silver Star (merger gone bad) and that has bin settled. i think they are wise and couscous about making the same mistake
Looks to me like many are wanting to get in or get back in with a lower pps come Monday while they wait for news/PR about MOP.
This is an enormous oil disaster and it'll take a lot of resources to keep this spill contained, let alone cleaned up.
MOP is a great solution and if Management has gone down there in person to demonstrate their products effectiveness, and show they are ready to deliver, people will take notice.
MOP demonstrations alone are impressive.
Good. Looks like there's lots of room for MOP Environmental Solutions to become a part of this.
Still can't see anything as green and effective as MOP, for what they do, though.
Here's a link for contacting State Governors.
http://www.usa.gov/Contact/Governors.shtml
They always want to look good for their Constituents. They may look like heroes if they come up with the best clean up solution for their State.
MOP Environmental Solutions (MOPN) could do just that for them and they put pressure on BP and the Coast Guard!
Couldn't hurt to try. Spread the word folks.
Thanks Singatoka I hadn't seen this before. Now I see where the possible shipment of MOP came from.
Wondering if this is part of what could be PR'd next week?
MOP management has been very proactive in getting MOP as a part of this oil leak solution. This could be a great week for MOP if they can become a big part of the solution for this oil disaster.

Update from MOP Environmental Solutions on the Oil Spill In Louisiana
Update from MOP
Re: Gulf of Mexico Spill
4/29/2010
Many of you have written to ask if MOP Maximum Oil Pickup oil absorbent could be helpful in the spill in the Gulf of Mexico right now.
The answer is an unequivocal YES. MOP could be used in many ways but the highest and best use right now is in the littoral zone close to the shore where MOP can be used to lock up the oil so that it doesn’t damage the fragile ecosystem and fisheries of the region.
We have offered the following thanks to a generous offer from a MOP friend and shareholder:
We have offered to ship a container of MOP absorbent with the equipment necessary to deploy it. The full container could be deployed using our MOP Cannon in about 4 hours and lock up between 40 – 80 thousand gallons of oil. Additionally, We could have a second container ready to ship within a few days.
We have left messages at the command center for LT Dauner of the US Coast Guard – one of the people who is leading efforts to coordinate help.
Additionally, Wayne King has spoken with Catherine Williams the point person for BP on the phone and followed up with a message by email (as requested).
We stand ready to ship the sorbent the moment we get an ok and Wayne King is prepared to travel to the area if we can be of assistance in the deployment.
We are trying very hard to reach out to help and we believe that the folks working to contain the spill are acting heroically but we are frustrated that we have been unable to get the MOP into the hands of folks where it would do some good.
If you have suggestions for how we might be able to reach a decision maker, feel free to email Wayne King at MOPEnvironmental@gmail.com.
We also encourage you to sign up to receive Tweets from MOP on Twitter

We encourage you to pass this along if you think others will find it useful.

lol you just insulted the wrong person. The one who wrote the original post actually took the time to talk with MOPN management and gave the board an update.
I, for one, appreciate his time and effort.
Reading is an asset!
Hopefully, we'll get just that news Monday or Tuesday. Wait and see I guess.

It's ordered and dated in April this year. Looks like an old doc to me but Susman was approved by JW.
I think you are correct that folks need to read the ibox to see what MOP can do for this crisis.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all the families of the loved ones lost and to the survivors as well.
Good point Bert, this article below expands on that and imo, shows that MOP is definitely a better 'green' environmental approach.
