you're right...but confirmation bias is an impossible thing
to break. the more evidence there is that kelly whelan
is operating the same way papa did, the more some are convinced
everything is different. trips with papa, trips with kelly.
papa enriched himself, kelly is doing exactly that. diluting and
more diluting. even the rhythms of the selling tells the sad story.
none of which lessens the efficacy of the product, nor my gratefulness.
pony. i didn't mean it as a challenge or an insult. i'm just angry because i lost a bunch of money and ctdt has been a missed opportunity for years and years. i've no prior relationship with him, we've never spoken...but if no one else will and i can get
his phone number i will. sorry about my pissy tone; i allowed myself
to get my hopes up about two dozen too many times.
yes to all you say.
lwlg is the worst kind of investment for a savvy investor.
tons of promise, unknowable outcome. could as easily go to
zero as be a 100 bagger. all sorts of progress, unknowable
timeframe for completion. an opportunity rich market niche,
zero revenue while selling shares at low low prices in order
to continue functioning towards an unknown.
the worst. i've got one other like it and they cause more agita
than all my other investments combined. i'm going to step away
for a good long while so, if nothing else, i can at least control
the distress...
glta
bishops, wymont, venture--why not call chaz and put it to him?
you've been in touch for years. except for being afraid to hear
that ctdt is dead, why not? don't you think he owes you--and all of
us long long longtime shareholders--that much, a moment of no
baloney honesty?
i agree. but how do you know what chaz is doing? if the tech had
any value funding wouldn't be a problem. i don't think chaz
does anything with ctdt, and i don't think there is anything to
do it with. we'll never hear from him again. not that that matters--
when he used to hear things, none ever came true. i love the posters
who say they've spoken to him, but fail to ask a single direct
needed question, let him do his charm spiel and aren't even angry
that his being a bogus hypster has cost us a lot of money. it means
nothing when some claim he's got his own money involved, has lots
to lose etc. a.they don't know. b.he doesn't. c. no one behaves
like he does if they're trying to make something succeed...
i wonder if robotis works more than 50 hours a year for
his huge salary? is there a worse ceo? a more in-his-pocket
bod? prisons are overwhelmed with inmates whose crimes are less,
whose ethics are way better. it's a great example of how deeply
flawed our system of capitalism is. reward the worst, imprison the
desperate and the petty...
she'll continue to sell tens or hundreds of millions of
shares. out of billions. like we're seeing. she's plenty
smart, but the whelans figured out a long time ago that
they could fleece investors as long as they sounded high-
minded and did a little bit of work. nothing that moves
the pps, nothing that benefits shareholders. kw would've
made all kinds of easy obvious moves already if she had
any integrity, any intention of benefiting those who've
financed the whelans' nice lifestyle for years and years
and years. the world is full of such people and yes, they
sleep fine.
great job chaz. all the best. snaper would've been
proud. sorry for any of you good fellows who lost
significant dough. this woulda coulda shoulda company
just couldn't find an honest, hard-working, competent
manager.
it will take a lot of honest good management to get
this past 0.001. to get this to 0.01 kelly whelan would
have to be actually interested in shareholder value, which
after three months at the helm i'd say she's given strong
indication she is not. 2020? more of what's gone on for more than a
decade.
what's the diff? there isn't any reason to believe this has
any value. if chas is doing anything related to ctdt, he's trying
to extract money from the widow for himself. sham or scam? well-intentioned or nefarious? we'll never know...
it could go to zero. and it might. if chas was really doing
anything all these months and the company actually had something
that could be monetized, you think this is how things would go? i've said we'll never hear from that charming scamster again...he's gone,
onto his next baloney. that none here even bother to contact him,i think at least it means you loyal hopeful stalwarts aren't wasting anymore time or energy. that's a good thing.
happy new year!
thank you simpsonly! every business person i know could not
agree with you more. there are tens of thousands of people in
business who could manage biel to some kind of success. kelly
has a certain kind of smarts, but unfortunately, this apple
did not fall far from the tree,or she would already have taken
certain steps, steps her sense of reality prevents her from taking.
she's got plenty of anger, she's defensive and self rationalizing,
and she's misguided as hell. i'm afraid the only action the
toilet you refer to will see is the bowl will be cleaned periodically and all hopes and possibilities will get flushed. i myself am not going to give a minute to this entity in 2020. happy
new year otherwise...
they can or they can't. they will or they won't. it's continuously
baffling what doesn't happen. there are reasons why, as there
always are, but those who actually know aren't saying. as i suspect
is true for many here, i wouldn't sell except out of desperation, and i wouldn't buy unless i was too drunk to walk.
happy new year to all.
you'd hope chas would offer up a year-end shareholder update,
if nothing else as a courtesy to our long suffering patience.
but alas...year after year, nothing.
happy new year and glta!
i apologize. i did not see the update of the 16th until now.
it is comprehensive and competent and shows how truly smart
ms. whelan is. i'm done with hoping, but i think she may be
a fine executive who in the next years has a chance to bring biel
to a level of success it's never had. i wish her good luck and
also all of you long-suffering longs.
now i'm gone, and know i won't be missed. i never really added anything meaningful to the discussion anyway. just periodically
aired out my dismay about a losing investment i made on account
of being helped by an excellent product.
see ya...
the latest nonsense is exactly in keeping with everything
that came before. kelly whelan lives well and will continue
to do so. that's it. that's all there is here from a shareholder
or investor standpoint. she's had plenty of time to show she's
made of different stuff. she's very smart, but smart and character
aren't even related. a hardworking good businessperson with a drive
to make biel a successful company could do so much with what
they have. so much. oh well.
happy new year to all here. i hope waiting and hoping against hope
where biel is concerned does not play a part in the unimaginably
difficult times ahead...
you'd think so. except. no silicon valley company or venture
capitalist has swept in. those folks are sharp and greedy and
perpetually on the lookout. so are the big techs worldwide. when
the stock is dirt cheap, some entity that knows way more than all
the posters here combined would be making some kind of move. at least buy a few million shares. or 1 million. the whole thing
is baffling, and people here are actually down to reading body
language as a way of staying positive. i've invested in several
r&d companies that garnered all sorts of glowing quotes from
major players, top ceos, then simply disappeared. it's not hard
to put on a brave face when you're the head of a company--100s
of millions of people in scary awful or merely deplorable conditions
do it every day.
it would mean so much to me if lwlg really has the goods and is
able to monetize them. the skepticism i've had for a long while
now, there is absolutely not one real reason to feel otherwise.
if you're someone who thinks the dialogue here has any relationship
to what's actually going on, then i'm jealous because skepticism
and worry are no fun at all. i'm down 37% of my investment and i'm
too hopeful to sell and too worried to invest more at these
prices...
please please lwlg make a deal. then another and another and...
worrisome
yes srin, they do need and deserve time. nothing after 9 weeks
isn't a reason to bail, but a lot of people who've been with
biel a long time, it's hard to stay positive, hard to imagine
anything will change--that moves will be made that actually increase
shareholder value. the whelans have done well, those who've made
that possible, most of them have lost money and continue to
do so.
i'm very open to being surprised--i won't be surprised if nothing positive occurs...
it's been how long now? not one thing has been done that
would suggest the new team will do anything differently.
new managements almost always announce something right
away so as to calm, even give confidence to investors, and
demonstrate that they bring something significantly positive
to the party. i can think of several moves ms. whelan could've
made with the swipe of a pen, and she hasn't done anything.
at what point do we say the emperor (ess) isn't wearing
any clothes? that enriching whelans is what this is about,
no matter how terrific the products?
me too pony, me too. i've lost track of the years. for me pony
it's not patience, i ran out of that many moons ago, it's
resignation. i loved the idea of producing something synthetic
that replicates a miracle of nature, only having it be practical,
utilitarian,as opposed to being a symbol of love or a sign of wealth--a kind of currency. i'm not knowledgeable or sophisticated
enough to understand what's prevented this marvelous idea from
becoming a reality, but common sense has told me for a very long
time that there are flies in the ointment, big ones. i admire
all of you who keep the faith. it's a better way to go through
life, provided that if and when you get burnt you don't get too
down about it.
glta in 2020--with this and everything else...
pony, what makes you think this? are you in touch with
him? or just hoping?
i still think we won't hear from chas again. the silence
from him has been way beyond what an officer of a company
would allow. not one word about what he's been trying to do
and where he is with any of it. not one word. mrs. snaper
doesn't seem any more inclined to monetize her husband's
inventions than he was. there would be no better way to enhance
his legacy...oh well...
you're right, it is about trading, which is largely
about perception. so. biel trades in mid to high
trips. the perception isn't exactly positive and
it's been a very very very long time like this.
not one thing has been done by the new management
to alter this perception. will they?
it's getting spooky. at what point would you feel spooked? i'm not
saying this is what you do, you're mainly informative, but it is
possible to spin anything according to ones' lights. i'm spooked
by the long silence and the fact that nobody seems to see value here. i wish i had a glimpse of what's really going on...
it's a shame. i thought that haas was the problem and that
the new guy would excel at navigating this potential-laden
sector. doubt we'll ever know what really went wrong. they
sounded set up to do very nicely. oh well...
ww is a smart guy, so with prs like this, it's possible he's
aiming to tank the company. he may not be conscious of it. he
may hate his job, feel stuck, but desperately want to find some way out. otherwise, it's hard to figure what he does say and what he
fails to address. i think he's working hard, i think what they're
trying to pull off is difficult, and i think what he's doing
isn't working and it's making him very unhappy.
pretty amazing isn't it? not one word from anybody. not about
snaper, not about what now, not about what's next. i thought
mrs. snaper might be a little different, more interested in
how things were run. evidently not. just more chaz enjoying
his title, doing nothing and keeping silent about it. i still
believe we'll never hear from him again in a pr.
if anyone truly believed something, anything real was going
to happen for ctdt, this would be a great buying opportunity.
anyone...
this is not a sell-off. it's a couple of investors reacting
to change--in this case, snaper's passing. like all buying/selling,
it's based on perception. snaper was not involved in the business,
he was a brilliant inventor who went to an office where a public
company he began and was the majority shareholder in had its
so-called headquarters. if there is something to his invention
and if there is a person or persons who are equipped to monetize
it, then ctdt will become a real business with value. if not,
then not. snaper's passing, other than being sad, has no bearing
on this whatsoever. if his wife has a good head on her shoulders
and has the desire to turn this into something, possibly as another
means of extending her husband's legacy, that would be very
meaningful for ctdt and its shareholders. we'll see..
there isn't a single moment in the past 10 years that
suggests this will all come together. the company is
acting exactly as it did when andy was presiding, which
was good enough to keep an excellent product in trips!
a company cannot survive operating the way evio operates. such a shame, such an opportunity. the one service every cannabis-hemp
company needs in every state where it's legal. smart, which both
waldorp and glauser are, is but one component of being good at
running a business. a really talented manager, this thing would
take flight, in california alone...
how about sub penny? with no one even announcing snaper's
passing, is there anyone able or interested in the existence
of this entity that has never been a company?
what now?
rip mr.snaper!
he wasn't involved in the business, still are there
people working to monetize his work? if so, who?
by may 2020 the best you can count on is a nice big tax loss.
there is something very very wrong here and there isn't anybody
on this board who has a clue what it is. naysaying and pumping,
regardless of whatever form they take, amount to exactly the same
complete speculation. the situation is at best frustrating, and
depending on your relationship to your investment, either
nervous-making or extremely nervous-making.
glta!
so. what makes you thinking anything will happen? after all
this time? with all the absurd problems? if the tech was real,
you honestly think something wouldn't happen? people love to
make money, somebody would find a way to do it if there was
something to this...
what on earth causes you to proclaim prs coming soon and
the chill will be lifted? public companies have a responsibility
to periodically inform their shareholders what is going on.
they might spin it to a degree it has little connection to reality
and they might outright lie, but they do not go completely
silent. do you know how long it's been since anyone in management
or related to management has communicated a single thing? chas
is living his life, a life that includes holding the unpaid job
of ceo of ctdt. maybe he uses it on dates to impress, maybe he
uses it to keep himself positive about himself, maybe it helps
his sense of self when he socializes. but after all these years with
exactly zero of any concrete meaning to show for any actual work,
after failing to even communicate lies or failure or headwinds,
it's safe to say there is zero substance to his position, zero
prospects for the company he uses as some sort of facade. oh well,
what the hell...
thanks longtrailer. i wish you well.
but i have a different read on the whelans and feel like
a dope for investing in the first place and am not about
to throw good money after bad. i invested because i used
the product, was greatly helped by it, then recommended it
to others who were also helped. this is not a way to invest
and i have paid a price for my foolishness. the whelans
have yet to do a single thing that would suggest they care
about those they make money off of by selling 100s of millions
of shares whenever they can. it takes mere hours to write
the prs and do whatever else to keep enough investors
buying--if you could make a nice living this way and were
either able to fool yourself--we help 1000s of pain sufferers--
or were lacking in integrity, wouldn't you?
people/companies don't change unless they're forced to,
or are willing to work very hard at it.
the whelans? are you kidding? they'll ride this out making
the most they can with literally zero regard for shareholders.
they might actually despise shareholders--that's what
their actions for 15 years conspicuously show.
i've lost 70% of my investment, it'd shock me if the other
30% didn't evaporate. how in the world do some of you guys
maintain the hope you do? i wish i was more like you, it's
a happier way to live...
anyone try contacting biel? kelly?
who hasn't? chas has no ability to do business. he couldn't have
monetized facebook or microsoft. he's a big talker who probably
smoke a lot of pot and hangs out fantasizing. it's years of
nothing doing...snaper has zero interest in business. he's a very old very accomplished guy who feels zero responsibility to shareholders and has no need of money. what an all around shame!
