It would help if more people were actually buying. I averaged up today.
Not many people (besides me) grabbing this .05 stock in the .007's.
What's going to kick it off, bauls?
OT: There has been no actual evidence of anything but incidental voter fraud for decades in the US. The state of Texas, and almost every county in Texas, is completely controlled by the Republic Party, including its entire voting apparatus, so it is beyond reason to claim that there was any voter fraud perpetrated by the Democratic Party in Texas (or anywhere else).
Furthermore, the Supreme Court determines The Law of the Land, so if the Supreme Court (especially the equally divided four to four Supreme Court) determined that Texas's voter eligibility law was unconstitutional, then it was unconstitutional by definition. But of course all you right-wing "strict constitutionalists" would know that, wouldn't you? Unless of course your rabid partisanship outweighed your respect for the actual constitution, wouldn't it?
Hoping for a good week starting tomorrow, despite the sorry pickle the country is currently in.
I don't see any violence. Protests are protected by the constitution. Prior to the election, there were actual declarations by right-wingers of civil disobedience if Clinton was declared the winner.
Second amendment solutions, remember?
I only had one thing to say, and it was to my old friend bbotcs, and I will not clutter this thread with more discussion about this today.
Off-Topic Sunday
"Total millennial bs, possibly backed by Soros. Clinton conceded the election. After you concede an election, it is over. And when U back out the illegal votes and the shenanigans that happen when absentee ballots are counted after an election, I doubt that Clinton won the popular vote."
I hate Friday afternoon 10Q's.
Amazon will be around a lot longer than Trump.
I guess you never took logic in college, bigpike, is that right?
Hey, market's open! Over and out . . .
You're right about there being a lot more pain on the.horizon, mostly to be suffered by poor and middle class whites who, as usual, voted against their own interests.
Well, hogs, I guess you can't be expected to read the minds very well of people you don't know or understand.
Fact is I'm on vacation in NYC and am too preoccupied doing things, seeing old friends, and just soaking up the thrill of the city (America's real heartland) to bother arguing on the internet about current events with a bunch of people who I mostly consider to be political boneheads.
But, since you wanted to engage, I will say these few things:
-- Be careful what you wish for because a) you just might get it, and/or b) you just might end up following someone who has no intention of giving you what he promises.
-- No election is final. Mid-terms are coming up in two short years and historically they tend to dampen the results of the presidential elections.
-- In my opinion, odds are that Donald Trump will not finish his first term. A) He doesn't have the attention span required to fulfill the arduous tasks required to actually be president, and B) Trump is no more endeared to the Republic Party establishment than he is to the Democratic Party, and he is not going to have the congressional support he would need to actually get serious things done. Furthermore, since the man is completely ignorant of (among other things) how and under what rules the government operates (sometimes called The Constitution), he will quickly break the law and be gleefully impeached by both parties. (And he might also be found guilty of the many criminal charges currently and no doubt forthcoming, including but not limited to criminal fraud and the rape of a minor.) The Repubes would much rather have Pence, a party man, at the helm, and he would have an almost impossible time getting elected in 2020, because he will be blamed when things are considerably less than great again in America and the electorate reacts against his extreme religious fanaticism, among other things.
So, I'm off to soak up some elitist, liberal pursuits in Gomorrah today. Enjoy your football games, dolts, and keep wallowing in the delusion that the world is turning into the unlikely paradise you think you desire.
And btw, there is no trump rally. The market collectively decided to not freak out and employ a wait and see attitude, postponing acting like we are in a panic situation until Trump actually puts us in one.
Happy trading.
Hope won't spring eternal, I promise.
The last eight years have been particularly good, especially after the Great Bush Recession of '08.
As you were so quick to remind others, it's not about short-term, remember?
One of your truest observations, bbotc-America IS great. Let's hope this tin-horn dictator just elected isn't able to turn it into the banana republic he's promised he would.
My marijuana stocks are up. Demand for product will be also.
Anyone know when earnings are out?
The military industrial complex always prospers.
We need commercial sales here.
The DOW us is down 800. Enjoy your victory conservatives.
That's right O'Brien, it's about tomorrow and the day after and the day after and the day after that. It's about the future of America which has been a great country but now with a tinhorn dictator, elected by the uneducated, will now become a banana republic. After he begins trade wars, abandons nato, embraces Russian expansionism, and our economy collapses, and you dumbasses blame Obama for it, it will be YOUR fault. I'm sad I'm going to lose money in the future of America, but I'm glad your going to lose your ass too. I can't believe how stupid this country is.
I guess I'm going to lose a shithole of money tomorrow.
Thanks a lot assholes.
Good call, Dude! Looks more like $786 today.
'Never underestimate the stupidity of the American electorate..'
With the help of something called computers, the FBI was able to determine, probably faster than one email per second, that almost all of the "new" emails were duplicates of emails that had already been examined. The remainder were personal emails.
I believe I'll take the word of the director of the FBI--who we know is not necessarily a fan of Clinton--over vague innuendo on the internet, or whimpers and whining from the camp of the Republic nominee.
I did not intend to get into an extended political debate on this thread--I made a prediction about the market response to current events--and I don't intend to post further--but to respond to that high-minded gentleman who a few post earlier called Trump deranged, my prediction was meant to refer to both long and short term market conditions. The less likely that Trump is elected, the less likely we will face the consequences AGAIN of large tax cuts to corporations and the upper brackets coupled with a reckless, macho (dare I say deranged) foreign policy.
I agree . . . Nice rally tomorrow, huge rally on Wednesday.
With recent news, and polls holding steady, I expect a rally in the market tomorrow.
No criminality in Clinton emails - FBI
Down a buck in three days, after that earnings guidance!?
You reassure yourself with that logic, littlejohn, and vote for more tax cuts to corporations and the top one percent to pay off the debt.
Not One CEO at Fortune 100 Companies Are Backing Donald Trump for President
I wonder why that is. I wonder how the market will react next Wednesday if that ignorant moron named Trump is elected president of the USA on Tuesday.
I personally will be out of the market by 9:35 am
You guys are hysterical, littlejohn. The crash after eight years of Bush rule, including massive tax cuts and two unpaid for disastrous wars was all Clinton's fault.
How much is America going to have to suffer for your ridiculous ideological terror?
Presidential performances
Please, not another Republic administration. Especially one under a moron. None of us in the market can handle that.
Went from 32% up for the year to 7% up in about a week !
The DOW has more than doubled in the last eight years, since Obama took office. Compare that to the pathetic economic performance under GW Bush.
The market does better under Democratic administrations than it does under Republic administrations, time after time. This is not interpretative. Look it up.
It's not going to be any better until after the election. Wall Street hates uncertainty.
If Clinton-who Wall St knows it can work with-doesn't win, expect the market to tank.
this week has been hell across the board.
Equal silliness. Don't take it personally. I hope you didn't sell.
Don't be silly.
Me too.
