Yeah, the whole losing money thing sucks.
But, whats interesting is that this current gain goes completely against my own personal due diligence.
Without taking anyone else's opinion into account, I did not see this coming, as I expected my 'really bad thing that I expect is coming' to happen first.
Live and Learn. I hope that GLCC, which is where I put a bunch of my money, pays off in the longer term. It appears to be a safer buy and hold play than this to me...
Backing up what Reseller Mike said - I hope some longs have had an opportunity to take some profits on the way up. I personally still expect this to return to the .015 range.
Good Luck everyone!
Dude, I sold off at a significant loss 2 WEEKS ago.
But see, you have to admit, the CRAM SOUNDS cool. IT's the thing that you WANT to put on TV, especially since it looks so neat.
I was able to pick up some sub .04 just a few seconds ago. Let's head back up now buyers!

Do you suppose they have 3200 submissions?

Hey VSTARR - you need an index.htm!!!!
Anyone know these songs and who sang them.
If this goes way through the roof, Maybe I'll take a gift of 1%
you know whats worse? I only own 180k
I added 230k at .011, not much, but pocket change
Email addresses if the ones I have are still good
RH - r.huppe@econtroltransport.com
Manny - m.stefanakis@econtroltransport.com
I believe the pattern for their email addresses is firstinitial.lastname@econtroltransport.com
RH has always been good at answering the questions I've sent him, and the investor relations guy is quick too.
I agree. very speedy!
yeah, but I have no more money to buy anything!
What the heck???
I sell out and leave and you guys go and go Green on me. Now, that wasn't supposed to happen!
LOL
Nice job holding out. Hopefully the gains stick for > 2 days.
The tracking number of your wire transfer must allow the bank to show where it ended up. The point of a tracking number is to track where the money ended up. It's a guarantee that you're money goes where you asked that it be sent. Talk to the manager of your bank - or the wire department.
I have a problem with this PR... Maybe these people are just really dumb about the web. More response than they had expected? WTF?
If you put an advertisement on the front of myspace.com, you're web site will get smashed! Hundreds of thousands of people go to the home page of myspace and I can easily see 1,000 or 10,000 concurrent people going to their site. I'd click on it if I saw a million dollars thrown around!
Additionally, with how crappy their site was written, I could see it dying at 20 concurrent people. Its not as if it is AJAX or dynamic or anything. It's a bunch of graphics that need to load.
I'm in deep on this stock, and I want it to recover enough for me to stop losing money, but come on... Hire a real web designer who has heard of the DIGG effect or the FARK effect or the MYSPACE effect.
*sigh* - Hopefully the site will handle any new load they throw at it. And Hopefully, this 'response' that they talk about is actually submissions and not just people clicking around on the web site wondering how they can make a quick million bucks.
never mind - it just filled
Did Trading Halt?
I can't buy - even at above Ask
As I understand it, the entity purchasing the securities is the one that is recorded as a holder. In most individual investors, that is the brokerage that you invest with. If you are a funds company, or some sort of very rich sort of individual investor, I believe you'll be specially called out depending on your affiliation and quantity of shares owned. I believe every > 5% holder needs to be named.

One of the things that no one has ever questioned is the credibility of the two scientists. This product wouldn't exist without THEM.
The business side of this is where the potential issue are, not the science side.
So, actually the reason I keep coming back is 'just in case' I'm wrong. *IF* RH and this stock work themselves out, then maybe I'll be able to make some money by buying back in.
Until I have some real evidence that its worth it to let my money hang out here any longer, I thought I'd follow some other things that I thought I could actually double my money on in the short term.
US based
See, one of the things I learned when I was doing all of my research is that RH has burned most of his bridges when attempting to do his contracts the first time.
He's basically destroyed the credibility of the GPS industry in Canada from what I've heard
He has very few ways 'back in' to the major companies he was working with because the sales people that USED to work for EFFC were treated poorly and the major companies won't talk to them any more.
Back when they had ARGO, I talked with every single reseller of the 'argo product'. All of them except one absolutely hated to work with EFFC.
The other one I talked to.. A company in florida, told me that they were the ones that actually sold EFFC the software that they were using to manage trucks. EFFC may have customized the software a little bit, they they did not develop it from the ground up. In fact, the company I talked with was thinking of raising capital and 'going public' because they are the company that supplied software to MOST companies that do truck tracking / etc.
Anyway, the product may be coming a long. I'm really worried for all of you that there might not be anyone around to buy anything anymore.
DD from a major research firm for what its worth..
I guess I expected this.... Reading the iBox is likely not a common tool for these types of researchers...
Through a person who I am in contact with, I was able to contact a research analyst for the Asian Market at a major research firm, here is her comments when I asked if she could help me prove that GLCC was on the up-and-up and if these PR's about China are true.
"I am not sure. There is almost no information on Bloomberg and on the research databases. I cant even see the no. of shares out there, what the market cap, who management is, etc. It must be a very very small company (even smaller than a microcap). Unless you know local people who run it or have a very credible local source who is well aware of what these people are doing, I wont even go close to this thing."
Well, for some reason I felt it was necessary to pick up 20k more shares at .011. Might as well
(a) Average Down
(b) Catch a falling knife
(c) Make more money when this starts going up!
Select the best choice!
I'm very happy with that target.
Some of us think that there will be some profit opportunity prior to the Fat lady's last note.
has anyone done an analysis of how high the run is. I've seen some and it appears to be about a digit worth of run - 1000%, yeah?
.000x -> .00x
One of two things will happen
(a) It will go to .06
(b) the mysterious seller will dump 2-3M more shares into the market at .022 into the volume.
I work with a guy who has family in Bejing and he's going to contact them for me to see what they can figure out from the China perspective. Unsure if I'll get any info back, but we're going to try.
as long as they run it to .10 first, they can dump all they want
alien - If the sell was a All-or-nothing and they did a sell at market for however quantity of shares, maybe the MM's couldn't find an AON buyer until .019 and that's where it landed. Risks of Making Market sells in the Pinks!
I picked up 50k more at .022... yay!
well, it appears that my limit buy bought your shares this morning. For how cheap this is, Its a good shot with my $$ in case it can run a teeny bit.
Since MySpace ads are now Targeted, maybe they un-targeted all of the IHub posters, so we'll NEVER see them!
It's there like a MySpace page that just has all of the MySpace Ads on it ?
Well, they keep overcoming your challenges for their plan to come together!
-- "I am pleased to update shareholders that all of the initiatives to date have been paid for with cash and that we have not incurred any further debt. Funding is slowly coming in and even though we have been faced with many challenges, I am confident that we will prevail," concluded Kistler. --
I mean, sheesh! You guys.... Calling people to confirm things... Calling the church.... Sending emails. How DARE you keep putting up all of these challenges!!
Didn't someone say a couple of days ago that the reason that The MySpace thing fell through is that someone got wind that this might be a Scam and had to do more Due Diligence before giving them the placement?
:)
Congrats Believer - Good mod choice for this board. Please be Fair and let's keep the repeated arguments to a minimum. WE all know what Jermart thinks, and we all know what Believer/FourKids thinks... Does it need to be repeated every day? LOL..
For the record, nothing anyone ever said on the board made me buy or sell. In fact, had I listened to some, I wouldn't have been down at all because I would have flipped this twice at .045 to recoup my money. At one time, I owned a million shares and would have been able to get out.
I sold based on my personal due diligence. I've talked to a LOT of people who have specific business ties to the company, were once listed as authorized resellers, or ones who have done their own due diligence in areas that I didn't have access.
I made a personal decision here based on a timeline I felt was fair. My first purchase was at .20 last year, I didn't sell at .50-.70 and caught the falling knife on the way down.
As with any pinks, I always gotta remember:
Play the Stock, not the people
Play the silence, sell into the news
Always confirm with your own due diligence
Don't get over-committed with your heart.
L8r, I hope I get the opportunity to come back just in time to 10 bagger this.
Stepping Down as Moderator of EFFC Board
I've decided to step down as Moderator of this board because I need to focus on some of my other "doing-terrible" stock plays and my family.
I found that I was getting far too involved in the inner workings of this and actually have little to no confidence in the ability of the company to actually sell any products now that I've talked to as many people as I've talked to. There are many of you who I have talked to about many different things, but some are readily clear here to me personally.
(a) I believe RH was in the wrong with how he handled the technology decisions in 2007. This is the primary thing that derailed the whole company and the thing that I believe will undo the whole company. Had he had a little bit less desire to become the master of all GPS in < 1 year, he might have taken his time, used his engineers to his advantage, and actually co-developed a product which could be used by some major industry players.
(b) I believe RH has made some extremely poor business financial decisions. Whether these have been made by RH, or by his common law partner, I don't know, but the company appears to owe more money than they can recover from and I'm actually worried for the shareholders that the downfall of either RH or Manon could be the undoing of the stock.
(c) This is probably a good stock 'play' for at least the next 6 months while the whole lawsuit thing is all sorted out. You can probably play it from .013 to .019 in and out and make a few percent each time. I do not believe that this is a long term hold position any more. I expect there to be a see-saw of news and PR's indicating the successes and failures.
(d) I do not see the after hours selling ever ending. The company just owes far too much money.
I've sold out my entire position and will instead start to focus on GLCC, because I'm down about $50,000+ on this and need to find a way to at least salvage my play fund that I've spent the last few years building up.
My best of luck to everyone and I hope that all of the longs here, really do end up making some money on this. If EFFC does end up winning the lawsuit and delivering a product, I hope you all make out like bandits! I'll be checking in and out, and if I can recoup some of my funds, I'll maybe jump in and out.
My Best.
if I had $1500 to throw away, I'd double my position at the current price and hope for a .0006/.0007 exit in order to eliminate all my losses from buying at .0011
Who knows, maybe this can stay at the current AS a while and come back sigh...
