TTGL doesn't know the meaning of pull back. That is because the company has all kinds of cash to buy back stock.

Treating Cancer Like an Infectious Disease
Thursday August 16, 5:06 am ET
KNOXVILLE, Tenn., Aug. 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Among the many medical miracles produced by science over the years, vaccines and antibiotics have undoubtedly saved the most lives. They have been so successful in particular because they boost the body's natural defense mechanisms that nature has evolved, for millions of years.

"Current approaches to treating cancer, such as chemotherapy and radiation, undermine the highly evolved human immune system by indiscriminately destroying healthy and diseased cells alike," says Craig Dees, Ph.D., CEO of Provectus Pharmaceuticals whose research lab is taking this different approach to fighting cancer.
Dees believes that in order to become both safer and more effective, cancer therapies need to take the natural approach and engage the immune system's anti-cancer defenses. "As radical as it may sound, we need to treat cancer like an infectious disease," said Dees.
Provecta(TM)(PV-10), an injectable small-molecule agent being studied by Provectus, has been shown to have an almost absolute specificity for tumor cells. Provecta is capable of solely penetrating diseased cells, leaving healthy cells unharmed because the drug is able to distinguish the fundamental difference in the solubility of cancerous and non-cancerous cell membranes.
The drug is created from a synthetic compound called Rose Bengal, a stain or dye often used by eye doctors to find bad blood vessels. Rose Bengal has been around for decades. Dees and his team believe when it's used in cancer patients, it can rev up the body's immune system to help seek and destroy diseased cells.
"After the injected tumor has been destroyed, the immune system soon gains a heightened awareness of these cancerous cells, and begins a search for similar cells throughout the body to destroy," explains Dees.
Once trapped in a cancerous cell's membrane, Provecta causes the cell's lysosomes (which contain digestive enzymes that cause cell destruction) to leak or rupture. The cancer cell is then quickly destroyed from within. As an added "bonus", Provecta has been shown to trigger an immune system response (coined the "bystander effect"), leading the body to battle tumors that have spread from the injected site.
Clinical trials for metastatic melanoma and recurrent breast carcinomas are currently underway. For more information, log to www.pvct.com

ABAT another good day..another 52 week high. I wish had the money to just buy and hold all of these jewels
thanks... It is an amazing privilege to work with the young people. It's not so bad getting old as long as you can share what you have learned...There is a book you may like that I loved.
The Song of the Dodo: Island Biogeography in an Age of Extinction by David Quammen It is a brilliant. You won't put it down..gl
I think a smaller carbon footprint is essential. I am not so convinced about global warming but I don't need to be because pollution has other negatives that are indisputable.
In any case, I have a construct that I present to my students concerning global warming that you might find useful.
Divide the world into the forces of hot and the forces of cold (50/50) If you take 1% away from cold and give it to hot it would now be 51/49...a 1% shift creates a 2% difference...now take 2% away and you have 52/48....and 3% and you have 53/47...Now as the % of hot increases the whole process speeds up until we reach what I call the flip point or the point of no return. how close to the edge do you want to walk? I make them think of a balance beam
Having said that, I am not as convinced as I us to be that we are at a true crises point in the global warming process, but I am completly convinced that loss of habitat and species loss, espcially in the oceans needs a stronger focus than the global warming issue, even though they are in many ways related
Preservation of green spaces (animal habitat) and protcting the oceans fisheries are equally urgent and maybe more so.
Biodiversity is humanities bullet proof vest. A bullet proof vest is made of many layers of plastic so as the bullet passees through each layer it is slowed and stopped before it gets to the target. We sit on top of the food chain resting comfortably atop all those lesser life forms, layers which provide for us and insulate us and protect us from biological bullets unseen and unforeseen. Each extinction removes a layer and compacts the food chain and brings the top and the bottom closer together.
All life forms would like to ascend the food chain.
In the recent past lyme disease has been a problem in the Northeast. Why? Is it because those lesser life forms such as toads and salamanders and all the other textures of life that eat tics are missing from the food chain?
Anyway, If Leonardo wants to help maybe he should downsize his carbon footprint. My grandmother had a saying. "Don't tell me, show me". I guess it is another way of saying actions speak louder than words. Or lead by example. Why should I give Leonardo my money when he will probably run out and buy a blanking Hummer. I will sell him my 95 ford escort cheap. i don't buy hollywood. i don't need a movie star to tell me which way the wind is blowing. They are all hypocrits.
sorry for the loonnng post, i felt like rambling
yeah and ALRY will do the same soon i hope
ENXTF growing up...ABAT a good day
CNEH had anothr big day
Please, I'm too busy chasing my tail. I haven't picked a loser in a while and I'm losing money..Go figure. Just look at TTGL But I swear on all that is right in the world ALRY is gonna pay me. I will hold this one till pay day and blue skies. SDGL the same..GLTA.
CBAI is def a future blue chip company. on sale for .062. do some DD..trending up..imo
losing some containment here. Need some buyers to step up..glta
Thanks IPRE. I appreciate your effort and your concern. ALRY is a pinkie and so any ugly quality of human nature can manifest itself without warning. I can't deny that. But I have done the DD and will trust to my instincts and experiences that the asset value is far far greater than the pps reflects and that the management is a good cut above the likes of CYKS or PLNI or a million other scams.
I know the volume is not there but I smell a 3x to 5x and will hold for now. I need a lightening strike. You are right about the downward drift without some volume and I am hoping volume will come in with the recent developments. I'm down 20% on it but gotta hold
UGTH busted the three dollar mark and looks better and better as a long term buy and hold.
PFSW another long term trending up. the following is a repost from the Yahoo message board.

Re: Ecost - seasonal effect (1 Rating) 1-Sep-07 11:27 pm It's not seasonal effects. For electronics, Q2 is actually the slowest quarter, accounting for 21.3% of total sales vs. 23.1% for Q1 and a whopping 32.2% for Q4. (http://www.bizstats.com/seasonality.htm - see the row number 5 for "Radio, TV & Electronic Stores")
For ecost, Q4 06's sales was $21.1M vs. $21.6M for Q1 07 and $27.1M for Q2 07.
As you can see from the above data, ecost has been increasing its quarterly revenue **in spite of** seasonal effects rather than because of seasonal effect, which would have you to expect sales to decline from Q4 to Q1 to Q2.
As another data point, look at OSTK, BBY and CC. OSTK is a discount e-tailer like ecost while BBY and CC are in electronics like ecost. All 3 have sequentially declining revenue from Q1 to Q2:
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/is?s=OSTK
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/is?s=BBY
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/is?s=CC
ecost revenue in Q3 should increase more than the Q1-to-Q2 improvement (25%) we've seen. Instead of having the seasonal effect working *against* it, Q3 (and Q4) will finally have the seasonal effects working for it. All stars will be aligned finally.
As far as alexa.com, it's one of the most unreliable measurements of e-tailer health. Alexa only counts the people who have gone through the troubles of downloading and installing the Alexa Toolbar into their computers. People like that are definitely not your average ecost buyers. Let's face it, the average Internet users have never heard of Alexa, let alone downloaded and installed its toolbar, and will therefore never be counted in the Alexa statistics. The Alexa statistics isn't reliable because its sampling isn't random. Rather it is a highly self-selective sample.
Look at Blue Nile, their Alexa traffic has gone down 67% since Jan, yet their revenue has gone up nicely (though not as significantly as ecost's) from Q1 to Q2:
http://alexa.com/data/details/traffic_de...
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/is?s=NILE
Meanwhile, Blue Nile stock has gone up 126% since January:
http://finance.yahoo.com/charts#chart1:s...
Why such discrepancy between financial and Alexa performances? Just like in the case of ecost, Blue Nile buyers aren't being counted by Alexa properly.
What I've been most impressed with in the ecost turnaround is the fact that they've managed to grow sequential revenue significantly despite
- having to work against the seasonal effect, and
- having slashed customer acquisition costs
- taking a very disciplined approach to sales and marketing by selecting customers based on lifetime customer value
All these bode well for the coming quarters.
thnx, I guess a few folks worried about the lawsuit will have to buy back their positions and others who were put off by may jump in and the other good news to come. I need a winner. Goooo ALRY and thnx again for your posts...glta
only 70 million shares traded on the dow today so far..where is everybody..
how many contracts do they need to sign to get some damn volume here. glta
sdgl another contract and still no buyers. damn...
JLHY 52 week high and check out insider buying here
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/it?s=JLHY.OB
It's a boy! Congrats to all. thnx chir
Jig, I don't know when but they are going to take this out for a whiplash ride for three days some time in the future. All those restricterd shares and all the money lost in this product development tells me there will be a pr cycle sometime down the road that gives the original investors a chance to get some money back.. I don't think they will ever get back to my buy in of .05 but I think that anyone who has the guts of a true gambler will get returns on their money from here. I am tempted myself..gl
Yeah IPRE. I am looking at COBN but ALRY should have the results from a new well today and it could be big, so I am staying put for the moment. Wish me luck and thanks always for the updates. I will contribute to the board soon. I am a little uninspired at the moment. A live well would lift me up a bit..gl
I saw a special on TLC last night about drilling for oil and gas. It is high stakes stuff. I'll bet it will be really exciting wellside. Anyone have a blackberry out there for live updates. Just joking..GLTA
a successful well is one of the most poorly held secrets. the volume will tell you if it is a success and the pr will confirm the volume. Wish I had the time to make the trip. I'd love to watch the process..glta
IPRE I'm trying to be disciplined. I'm not green with ALRY but I'm convinced it has .30 written all over it in the short term. But I almost bought erfw at .41 when I bought ALRY at .115 ERFW has doubled since then. It is the same stupidty. Buy ERFW at the bottom of a pull back or but ALRY at the top of a run.. I bought ALRY and there in lies the problem Buy low sell high. And yet I continue to buy high and sit on dead money. Not all the time mind you but too often.. someday!!!!!
I guess you think it is a bad idea. Oh well GOOOOOOOO ALRY
a year of missionary work in the mountains of Honduras might keep me away from the trading sickness
CNEH..doing a pudc shuffle
strong leadership..thanks
yeah IPRE..I did again. once a loser always a loser until otherwise proven otherwise
