Gee, if I am still doing this at 77 I will consider that I am doing pretty darn good. Better yet, I hope that you will be answering my posts here when I am 77.
Cheers!

....exactly the same for me!
KEX collapses back to mediocrity
SYZ kicking new 52 week highs and huge volume for this low trader ...
XPA Fraud Trojan tries to get you to download software because your OS is at risk .... DON'T!!! They mask themselves as MS software but don't believe it ....
I think it means that once you are a part of the file sharing community, you participate in the accessibility to large files by having your computer connected to the the network and allowing and assisting in the download of files. Kinda scary if you don't know the members of the community. Better have full virus-trojan-everything protection to play in this sandbox. Which may be why I am tempted to dedicate one computer alone to this activity.
Wow, that is pretty awesome. That he uses a computer is the most amazing ...
Thanks! BTW, what the heck is seeding...
I was wondering about that ...
thanks bbgold ... I am now entering the treacherous world of bit torrents
New Guinea dark roast (Kirkland) coffee at Costco is a good deal.
Defragged one year old laptop and it took 8 hours!
Delays in Frankfurt on top of layover, and hometown fogged in so we had to go to nearby city and stayed on runaway for several hours before flying back plus time difference.
Took 24 hours to get back, but the trip was still the best yet. Very little if anything that I would change...
Ended up buying a Professional Frigidaire which hopefully will get delivered today. The borrowed bar fridge just isn't cutting it!!
Ugly Truth (2009) is a pretty awful movie.
After being gone a month I expected a wide choice of rentals, but this is all I came up in desperation. Rotten Tomatoes gave it 15% and that is about all it is worth.
Excellent, I am sold on it!
Seriously!!??? How did it work out?
Thanks for the reco!
Can anybody here recommend a good fridge brand? I need to buy a new one pronto and I just don't have the heart to start researching that now. I know that there is a wide variety of available options, but we want one with a freezer compartment and average height but no fancy icemaker ... thanks!!
Thanks!
Took 24 hours to get back home, but now all is well except the fridge died a few days ago!
Novotel offers great value for middle age travellers at reasonable prices
If you want to save tons of money while travelling hit the mini markets and super marche throughout Europe and you will smile big time on food and drink. Also book online all your hotels. Great deals out there for class accommodations.
Europe trip almost over but short of a disaster in the next 24 hours everything went almost perfectly. Almost nothing I would change ... the weather was awesome and the accommodations and travel arrangements worked out beautifully 98% ofthe time.
Learned a lot about travelling cheaper and handling Internet and email requirements in Europe and Africa.
I already look forward to my next trip which I hope is either the Baltics or SA. Preparation time is very important. We saved huge amounts on flights and hotels by booking ahead of time.
Will post more on this subject if anyone is interested ... though I will spare you the 2000 pictures and 3 hours of video!!!!

Gee, I leave the country for a few weeks and I see that all my basket case stocks have all gone up!
Maybe I should invest by prolonging my stay?
lol
thanks for heads up!! gonna check it out!!!
We met some people on the ship who went through the same thing and heard of other cases. Our guide on the ship who gave seminars on Lisbon kept saying over and over be very careful in the Metro and in the train station.
We saw several suspicious characters but I am sure the real thieves (read pros) are not obvious suspects!
Today an employee who helped us with loading up a metro card said in parting in the universal language - BE VERY CAREFUL OF YOUR WALLET WHILE IN METRO!!
Some people are not very careful, but still the danger is there for all. I had a fake wallet thing going but they never went for it!!
lol
Anyway last supper in Lisbon tonight...

The food is very simple in Portugal but good. Much cheaper than Paris or Milan or Brussels if you go to the right places (ie stay away from high profile tourist areas!)
The crazy thing is that prices in euros are pretty much what we pay in dollars which is scary. But again you can eat and drink for super cheap if you buy in the discount stores.

Weekend in Lisbon was great! A lot of warnings about pickpockets in metro areas and train stations so we have been extremely vigilant. Today is Sunday and it is super quiet in the streets of Lisbon. Quick visit to Sintra and then we will be getting ready for the long flights home.
Yes, I am ready to go back home even if it will feel weird. My wallet says get back home soon, fool! I would only stay if we rented a villa or apartment for a month or more. The constant moving around every few days from city to city gets tiresome.
