Jet-you don't lay out a very convincing scenario. In fact, it sounds like a black helo delusional system much more than attempt to present any data.
You are aware that offshore brokers and funds clear trades through US correspondant relationships, aren't you? And that you are claiming a conspiracy involving the government, the media, banks, brokers, and god knows who else. Odd that no one has exposed it, wouldn't you think?
What's your take on why all the get shorty suits keep being tossed out of court without even getting to discovery? Or on the fact that about 20% of the companies in the Investrend propaganda campaign claims of being "involved" as victims of naked shorting have been revoked and or charged with fraud?
Fails to deliver are trivial and transient. They average less than two billion dollars a day for all T+4 and greater fails.
Hardly the stuff of a world wide conspiracy.
Because, germany, Pearl and friends are selling billions of new shares at whatever price they can get.
Why would that be, UP. All that happens in July is short interest reporting on OTC stocks. The SHO list currently covers those companies, and it provides a daily listing of any security with extended FTD's that exceed one half of one percent of the company's outstanding shares.
And do spell out the legal theory for any law suits and tell me who would have standing to file. What damages could be claimed by whom, and how could those damages be established as a result of the mythical NSS as opposed to other factors: failure to file required reports, for example; failure to provide any objective information about the claimed "gold mine" as another example; or a massively dilutive "dividend"?
Uh, stockhound, perhaps bacause that symbol as been assigned to tomeone else?
Ya think?
Didn't scan it that closely, uber. But your point is?
Jarta/Janice-I saved the PDF files if anybody wants them.
GTC-do give an example of a $3.00 stock with a million share "naked short".
The absolute price of an issue is irrelevant to estimating the impact of short sales, naked or otherwise. What is important is the size of the short sales relevant to the float and to the OS.
As is being claimed by the new NSS Poster Child, Byrne.
Well, melchizedek, lets see:
ERDL, the company that morphed into infinity mining was a spin-off of a DoM scam Adatom, run by non other than lady pearl.
Erdl then acquired the "mining assets" that Infinity is claiming, paying for the acquisition with DoM bonds. The following describes that transaction and the value of the bogus assets:
Melchizedek also pops up in stock swindles from time to time, as in the case of Countryland Wellness Resorts Inc., run by a career fraudster named Fred Cruz. In its filings with the SEC, Countryland, claimed to have a supply of gold valued at about $25M, which turned out to be "dirt stored in a warehouse" according to the SEC. Countryland also claimed to have hundreds of millions of dollars worth of "Indonesian bank guarantees," which the SEC said didn't even exist. Then there were its billion-dollar mining reserves. The SEC's statement on Countryland said the value of these couldn't be determined without "extensive work," but Countryland claimed to have sold its "mining interests" to the accomodating Dominion of Melchizedek for $2.7 billion.
http://home.att.net/~fcwriter/features.htm
So who do you think controls infinity?
And while you are at it, see if you can that "patent pending" application anywhere.
Any of you mining types familiar with an Alan Sanford? He is running a Pearlasia/DoM scam that morphed from the old equity retirement distributors scam into "infinity mining". And miracle of miracles, the company has a sooper sekret "patent pending" extraction technology that results in far higher yields than any other method. Not bad for a gray market shell with no assets or revenues.

It's not that old, jimmy, and there was no significant volume after the hearing. It also spells out exactly who (including Nufced, who it seems got pay it forward shares), or in many cases what shell corporation got the shares and participated in the distribution. For example, what's a SK wheat farmer doing with a Nevada corporation that received 20 Billion!! shares?

It's a pacific bell account.
It is a myth, jimmy, at least as portrayed by the cult who claim that concerted and widespread naked shorting has driven thousands of companies into bankruptcy. Certainly some brokers probably violate locate requirements from time to time, but the overall "problem" of fails to deliver is trivial and transient.
Have you ever bothered to read the basic data on this issue? Do you even know what the average dollar value of all T+4 and greater fails for all exchange traded and OTC stocks is, or how much of that volume represents short sales versus other types of fails?
For someone who seems to feel strongly about this pseudo-issue, you seem remarkably uninformed as to the basics.
No, bluediamonds, it won't. No revoked stock has ever resumed trading.
And this scam, which will soon have criminal charges filed against Urbie will certainly not be the first one to do so.
Please, stockhound. Do you have a clue about the data regarding the bogus naked short claims? You don't seem to.
Hint: NSS is a myth.
Chrissie-are you really that naive?
Riley-so is ken lay, for a while.
Typical patch BS, grt. Long on hysterical claims, and totally lacking in fact. Watch for Weiss to flay him next week on his absolutely brain dead "analysis" of his FOIA data.
So, jmh, you don't find the unannounced and unregistered divivend a bit odd?
Don't think so, aussie. Pearl's criminal history is all documented. That fact that the lazy DOJ hasn't got around to prosecute her is irrelevant to her criminal activity.
Melchizedek-There is an old principle of maritime law, dating to the 16th century: "You can't hurt a wreaked ship". And the career criminal "Pearlasis" aka elvira gamboa, is a career criminal who has participated in multiple penny scam pump and dumps, HYIP scams from offshore sites, phony passport schemes, etc.
She's a crook, mel. It's that simple.
I'd be glad to talk to you one on one, Acca. You can give me your telephone number (including permission to tape the conversation) or an IM address. The IM exchange will be published verbaitum.
Your call.
Rick-I'm sure that your wife is a fine person, and underseving of any e-mail slander. Pearl, on the other hand, is a career criminal, and there's not much you could say about her that would be slanderous.
Odiaz-Pearl seems to have overlooked the fact that no registration statement has been filed for the preferred shares, hence there can be no trading symbol.
And sure, odiaz. Please forward me the e-mail: (no spam)star.the.wonder.pup@hushmail.com(no spam)
Tanner-he didn't hear it anywhere, and he obviously doesn't understand the IPO process. CIM would need an underwriter of the IPO, an exchange willing to list them, and little details like assets, operations, and a business plan. None of those things are remotely possible for CIM, which was established solely for Urban to launder a million dollars through it. And dear Ron C., being an active accomplice in that crime will likely face charges too.
It would seem that Acca simply likes to make outrageous and false claims because of the attention he gets.
Olease do, odiaz. Given Pearl's long history of being forthright and truthful, I am eager to see her response.
Or more likely her non-response.
How long does it take, GTC? Virtually anybody would recognize this as a pump and dump scam after about five minutes of DD.
Let's see:
The SEC suspended trading in the stock, revoked its registration, and is conducting a stock fraud investigation. Companies tied to CMKX at the hip have also had their registration revoked and are under investigation for fraud.
The CEO created scores of phony companies that existed only as mail boxes and laundered tens of billions of shares through them. It also used over 80 bank accounts to conduct phony, asset inflating transaction, and may face criminal bank fraud and money laundering charges for those activities.
All claims have lapsed, and no serious exploration was ever conducted. What exploration was done showed nothing of economic value.
The company insiders and affiliates dumped 700 billion unregistered shares on the "investors" who believed the false and misleading press releases about mineral prospects.
And finally, company supporters have as their last hype the fiction of a huge "naked short" in the company and the future receipt of a mythical "settlement" from persons unknown, although no legal action has been filed regarding these claims.
Other than that it looks squeaky clean, no?
Mocosco-you nailed it. Simply living, and enjoying each day is all that there is to riches. The rest is window dressing, or popinjay strutting.
KKgd-amazing that they are now trying to read deep meaning into a routine DTCC procedures which actually helps their futile cause. But then, several months ago they spent days obsessing about an option symbol for a totally unrelated security that included the letters CMKX.
Given the general escalation of nastiness on RB, I'd say it's a safe bet that most of them have figured out that they were scammed, but don't want to lose face before their fellow true longs.
It's unfortunate that white collar crime cases proceed so damned slowly. I for one am pretty sure that Urbie, and possibly others, have received Grand Jury target letters, and that the bank fraud and money laundering will land some or all of them in jail. It would be a bonus if they nailed LoCastro and Turino as part of the scam.
Cargo-How is a CEO who is also the "President" of an international organized crime network going to esbablish credibility, particularly since she has been pumping this same alleged mine for years with absolutely no results.
Actually, jimmy, virtually all out of country brokers clear trades through US correspondent relationships, the exceptions being the bucket shops springing up in the Phillipines and Thailand that sell non existent securities to offshore suckers.
And as you should know by now, the 50,000 account figure (or 60,000 or 70,000, depending on who is doing the pumping)represented every account that had ever traded CMKX, not a snapshot of active accounts at a point in time.
For one example (there are many, many more), Frizzy counted good old Felix Casavant in his figures, even though he had dumped every share Urban V gave him:
1892 276 Felix Casavant Canada 5,413 S - Restricted 01/16/03 03/16/04 1,000,000 (1,000,000)
1893 276 Felix Casavant Canada 7,853 S - Restricted 09/29/03 03/16/04 1,000,000 (1,000,000)
1894 276 Felix Casavant Canada 11,176 03/16/04 07/16/04 1,000,000 (1,000,000)
1895 276 Felix Casavant Canada 11,177 03/16/04 07/16/04 1,000,000 (1,000,000)
Given the fact that all the point and click brokers auto requested certs, and that they represented the vast majority of the sheep's trading, what is left is likely small accounts with regional brokers, and the shares the Casavants and their insider pals were unable to dump.
Sorry, jimmy. No grand comspiracy; no international financial crisis; no instant wealth from a fabulously valuable asset that the market just happened to overlook. This was just a garden variety pump and dump that was more successful than most, and that will almost certainly lead to Urban and others facing criminal prosecution.
So, what's the latest bogus dividend news from St. Patrick, the 20 year parolee?
Panther-FatFranks (Frank Love) is on there, as is Sterling and family and WillyWizard. The Shelly on there is, I'm 99% certain, Nufced using her maiden name. As for the others, I'm hoping to hear from folks.
Schmed-how is the government going to "get ripped"? There aren't even delivery requirements in the shares of a revoked security, and at any rate any fails are an issue between the buying and selling brokers. So what liability do you think the government has? Please be specific, and cite statutes or regs if you can.
Not that it matters. At the end of April, CMKX fails totalled only three million shares, and I somehow doubt that a huge naked short developed between then and the final revocation order.
If anybody is interested this is, I think, a complete list of the "pay it forward" recipients. Some, like Sandi Hicks tried to hide their identity by using hubby's name on the certificate.

What is there to comment on, Jimmy? It's the DTC's internal procedure memo spelling out how they are dealing with the nonsensical cert pull.
OT Jim-you haven't lived until you tried live monkey brain. They even have a special serving table for it. A spoon, a little soy and ginger, and hey! Hannibal's got nothing on that.
Tex first consider the source. The "bunny" is bought and paid for by Byrne of OSTK. Nonthe less, annotated deconstruction of the post:
"Many of the workers do not understand where the money is being siphoned off. Many of the brokers and representatives don't even know about the stock lending programs offered by the brokers.
uh, I think most brokers understand short sales and borrow programs. What is his source for this claim
If all clients were knowledgeable about the lending programs, they would not borrow and would instead collect the interest on the stocks that are being lent out rather than allow the brokerages to collect margin interest from them and interest on the stocks that the brokers are lending out of their accounts.
Individual investors are really not equipped to participate in lending programs. Only institutional clients have the depth of position and infrastructure to participate.
It is possible for the brokers to be collecting 12% on the stocks that they are lending out and an additional 8 to 10% on the margin loan. The spread on the margin loan could be as much as 6%. It could be higher depending on how much the account is leveraged. If a person has a 100K and leverages to 50% they can buy 200K worth of a stock that may pay a 20% dividend.
Do you know of a real company that pays a 20% dividend? I don't. If there were such an animal it would be arbed to the max on the margin loan cost versus the dividend.
Indeed brokers do make money on the spread between their cost of funds and their lending rates. So do banks. It's called business
The person thinks that they are doing well to get the 40K in dividends and pay 10K in interest. They net 30% and take home about 15% after taxes.
Last I looked, marginal tax rates were not 50%.
The broker collects 12% on the stock loan of 200K which is 24K and a 6% spread on the margin interest.
12% on a stock loan would be very unusual. Frequently stock loans involve negative rebates.
The brokerage makes as much as the client and the client has all the risk. The client could reduce risk and go to cash, collect the 20% dividend, pay no interest, and collect 9% on the stock loan (which the broker is unable or unwilling to tell him about).
Again, individuals can't participate in stock lending programs except under very unusual circumstances. Buffett could do it. Joe six pack with his hundred shares can't.
The client could reduce risk, and take home 14-15%after taxes and the broker would make 2-4% on the lending of the shares."
I have no idea what the bun is talking about in this sentence. I thought the individual was lending the shares. Suddenly the broker is making money off it? But that's typical BoBo. He feels no pressure to make sense.
And when you get into sub-pennies trading on an unsolicited quote basis, any talk of a short, naked or otherwise is simply stupid. Margin and carry requirements alone make it an economically suicidal action.
OT Yes it is, Jim. For the nonce!
OT Power forward-re what kind of dogs: Why do you think they call them "chows"?
It's easy to spot a pump and dump. All the fervent "longs" want to talk about is the stock, and none of them want to deal with facts about the underlying company.
