thanks Paula I was hoping you would paste a minute chart with vol by price. I think vol by price is fun to look at but I don't have a stockcharts subscription so I can only study daily and weekly charts.
ARIA [pause] These go to eleven.
Nigel Tufnel: The numbers all go to eleven. Look, right across the board, eleven, eleven, eleven and...
Marty DiBergi: Oh, I see. And most amps go up to ten?
Nigel Tufnel: Exactly.
Marty DiBergi: Does that mean it's louder? Is it any louder?
Nigel Tufnel: Well, it's one louder, isn't it? It's not ten. You see, most blokes, you know, will be playing at ten. You're on ten here, all the way up, all the way up, all the way up, you're on ten on your guitar. Where can you go from there? Where?
Marty DiBergi: I don't know.
Nigel Tufnel: Nowhere. Exactly. What we do is, if we need that extra push over the cliff, you know what we do?
Marty DiBergi: Put it up to eleven.
Nigel Tufnel: Eleven. Exactly. One louder.
Marty DiBergi: Why don't you just make ten louder and make ten be the top number and make that a little louder?
Nigel Tufnel: [pause] These go to eleven.
aria "but, these go to 11"
CRIS... it would be really cool if it tested the 13ema within this week.
golly gee must be going for the gap.
I like when the opening dip tests 50% of the previous day's gains or climb... yesterday low at 2.96 and climbed to 3.99 today's 3.63 dip so far... 50% would be a nice bite zone at about 3.48
power hour starting early... nice action these last few minutes!!
the weak market last week allowed MNTA to do a 50% retracement of the move from $15.50 to $19.50, tested it's 20sma, closed a tiny gap, but that sucky market didn't allow for a golden cross rally... better late then never.... it's roaring back today and will likely get a big tailwind from being added to the IBD50.
I am looking at it like a flag... $15.50 to $19.50 could spell $23.50 when it breaks out.
CRIS... It would be really really good if it closes above 3.75
Vol by price no-man's land being filled in with black bars at high volume (from 3.65 to 4.30).
last year it went up through and down through $4 so fast that there's little to stop it except the psychology of the even number.

IBD news is awesome... it will provide a strong tailwind.
I got exactly what I wanted and more...
a bunch of cool stuff happened friday and today...
closed a gap, tested 20sma strongly, retraced 50% of the move from 15.50 and if you draw a flag starting at 15.50 to 19.50 you might believe a break of 19.50 sets up a quick move to 23.50
I think the chart supports a run to $11 to $11.45 depending on whether the flag is drawn from $5.50 or from the big volume breakout day in March at $6

Press Release Source: JBI, Inc. On Monday May 9, 2011, 7:21 am EDT
THOROLD, Ontario, May 9, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- JBI, Inc. (the "Company" or "JBII") (OTCQX:JBII) announced today that Oxy Vinyl Canada, a wholly owned subsidiary of Occidental Petroleum (NYSE:OXY - News), has agreed to purchase JBI's low sulphur heating oil for $109.80 per barrel. Low sulphur heating oil is a product of our Plastic2Oil(TM) process. Under the terms of the agreement, the first order of approximately 214 barrels of low sulphur heating oil is expected to be delivered this week.
"Today's announcement is for the sale of JBI petroleum products derived from waste plastic," said CEO John Bordynuik. "I am pleased that our green initiative has come to fruition evidenced by Oxy Vinyl's purchase."
JBI's revolutionary Plastic2Oil(TM) process converts mixed waste plastic into separated diesel, heating oil, and light naphtha fuels. Low sulphur heating oil is diesel fuel without transport additives. In Q1 2011, Bordynuik designed quality controls, fuel blending, and automatic additive injection so that the fuel produced is a final product, unlike crude oil. The agreement with Oxy Vinyl marks the company's first alternative fuel sale.
JBII used highly reputable laboratories and service providers to validate and test its Plastic2Oil(TM) process and products. This strategy has provided a long term benefit to our shareholders.
About JBI, Inc.
JBI, Inc. is a domestic alternative Oil and Gas company. JBI developed a process that converts waste plastic into fuel (Plastic2Oil), without the need of further refinement. JBI scaled a 1kg process to a 20MT commercial processor in less than 1 year. For further information please visit www.plastic2oil.com and review our SEC filings, including without limitation our Form 10-K filed with the SEC on April 20, 2011.

JBII a year later... They finally have made a deisel sale and have negotiations to sell naphtha as well as negotiations with companies that generate large amounts of waste plastic ( smurfit stone).
Share price finally near last years action.
Still could be a scam but it's a darn good one and I am treating it as such by locking in profits for the second time in 16 months.

don't forget how sweet this volume is!!!
250K share days at $3 share... huge.
Nice pitchfork.
Hi lowtrade, hows ARIA now?
I still think so, very much so.
Bottom, official, thank you!
nice wedge... I'd like to see a sharp turnaround at around $17.65 or so to trade through that little "gap" from april 22-25 weekend.
CRIS just closed a gap and the 13/20 is kissed but bearishly perpendicular. I expect a "tangle" or a deep kiss where the next best entry point is to buy the 50sma... if it gets there, because it could run now that that gap closed. only 2 months to ASCO.

Brazil Petrobras Doubles Spending On Deep-Water Presalt Fields
BY JEFF FICK
RIO DE JANEIRO—Brazilian energy giant Petroleo Brasileiro SA will more than double spending in the Santos Basin over the next five years as work at the ultradeep-water offshore fields enters the pricier development phase.
Petrobras, as the state-owned company is known, said late Friday that it had presented the company's board with its latest master plan for the Santos Basin fields, dubbed Plansal. The firm plans to spend about $54 billion through 2015 to accelerate crude-oil output at the fields it operates, a jump from the $22.1 billion forecast in the company's 2010-2014 strategic plan.
The total spending is estimated ...

I think so... If there really is a buch of big bankers that are short and trying to cover, everything makes perfect sense.
Big down days and bigger up days. The up days are the result of a combination of short covering and momentum buyers. The big down days are the momos getting out and the shorts scratch their heads, tempted between going deeper short and putting an end to those incessant margin calls.
Goldbugs, help me find a blog or article, I think I read it on this board, it was about how many onces in silver is traded on the paper market in late april. I can't find it.
I would have liked to reply that the near term catalyst for aysi was going to be earnings but forgot to answer your post.
The story of this is lumpiness but I think in 2 years it could be $9
I bought more shares today, too.
nice day... my porfolio up 4%, nasdaq flat.
heavy lifting by JBII and a bunch of other 2-3%ers.
