Poor, poor, poor excuse. CWEB isn't NASDAQ as well, so your argument is moot.
There is absolutely no reason that we shouldn't be at a similar market cap to our closest competitor CWEB. I've been asking anyone to provide just one reason why we aren't at a similar market cap to them; no one has provided a good reason yet.
I don’t think we will have a problem holding 6+ now. If FB or NASDAQ pass, I expect a higher PE multiple to hold. The earnings are stellar for a third quarter, and they are continuously increasing. Although not as high as expected by many, we are still up significantly. We may not have jumped 500% quarter over quarter like everyone would have hoped, but we increased our intrinsic value organically while getting short attacked by Citron and Co. This is a powerhouse company with a great future. I am in for the long run. Are you? Also, the big news is that the patent is still pending, and that proves that Citron misrepresented the facts when he claimed that the patent was finally rejected. There is no reason that we shouldn’t now have a market cap similar to CWEB’s when considering the patent news. We should be at $10 pps soon. Have faith, and hold on. The future outlook is bright.
Absolutely brother.
What if the CVSI-007 patent passed? --Since it's still on appeal and all? Wouldn't that be a great treatment for smokers all over the world? What if a major pharmaceutical company partnered with us afterwards? --Or a tobacco company? --How nice would a smoking cessation agent look in say Altria's portfolio as an SBM. We could easily get swallowed up since CVSI is a public company.
With a GRAS Self-Affirmation; we are second to none. Plus CBD is the best anywhere there is, and it's shipped all over the country. Our revenues should be nice if all the trends and reports of Plus CBD selling out in stores are accurate. What if we reached Charlotte Webb's market cap? There is no reason not to. Citron Research also failed on Aug. 20th, 2018 to disclose to investors that the patent in question is still pending. That's negligent misrepresentation.
We may have NASDAQ and Farm Bill passage soon. That would be access to more capital; the Farm Bill would allow CVSI to make CBD from the entire hemp plant locally --not just from the sticks, seeds, and stems. Also, it would remove ambiguity. Risk averse investors would hop in and so would big corporations. I think this is a $200 stock by 2022.
The market penetration is so minimal. The trends suggest a forecast for lower risk. The legal system is starting to move our way. The people have spoken. We are no where near full saturation of the market segment --which could be everybody and animals. CBD has tremendous value, and its impossible to ignore. "The cat's out of the bag," if you will. We could easily hit $25 by the end of the year as a higher PE ratio would hold with passage of either the Farm Bill or NASDAQ --judging by analysts' outlook for 35+ accumulating interest potential for the CBD industry as a whole --and the Tilray effect. If it was 100% legit by way of Farm Bill 2018 passage --with no ambiguity, we could become the size of a blue chip stock very quickly.
I would imagine that Big Pharma isn't too happy about those findings. I wonder what it could do to the demand for their poisons.
As long as CVSI continues to bring in Net Income, then we can expect a higher share price with or without a Farm Bill of 2018. --With or without NASDAQ. Uplistings don't change the intrinsic value of a stock as we saw with ACB's uplisting. As long as Net Income keeps increasing, then the share price will keep increasing. I highly doubt that we are at 5.81 because of NASDAQ uplisting or Farm Bill passage hope; we are up on Net Income. A Farm Bill 2018 delay or a NASDAQ uplisting delay won't prevent me from being able to purchase Plus CBD anywhere in the country, and as long as that Net Income keeps increasing, we should expect PPS to increase.
They successfully appealed, and the patent is still pending today, so the final rejection is no longer considered final according to USPTO rules, and since the patent isn't core to their business--since they've made no revenue from it--there is no standard to disclose a non-final rejection of a non-core patent to investors. If the appeal fails, then they will have to disclose the failure to investors.
This post should help you do your own DD on the subject
11/3/18 Patent status. --Still being appealed. --Patent still pending. --Not final.
Which patent is rejected? --The one that is still pending?
Judging by PE alone, CVSI is actually very similar to Amazon, the big daddy of growth stocks.

Earnings expected sometime between Nov 1 and Nov 15 based on the trends of their 10Q releases.
MJ and HMMJ are down. We are even. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that we are in good position prior to earnings.
Very nice. I look forward to hearing about it.
We’ve been strong because investors here have been focused on the realistic intrinsic value since the Citron attack. The fundamentals here are so good so close to earnings that selling shares has become a risky endeavor. Our bubble was already popped with Citron on August 20th, 2018. It’s all up from here following a nice earnings report. Allow me to save your head from the irritation resulting from continuous head-scratching.
You know the squeeze is on when V vehemently searches for needles in a haystack.
Good article on CVSI

New Interview w/ Joseph Dowling (CEO of CVSI)
CV Sciences CEO on the Future of CBD in Healthcare
"We expect to file an IND with the FDA sometime in 2019 to commence clinical trials." --Joseph Dowling, CEO of CV Sciences when speaking to a journalist at The Street in regards to the Nicotine/CBD substance which can help people quit smoking cigarettes.
The only thing that stands a chance versus CVSI on the OTC for fundamentals is AVMXY. I expect both to eventually hit NASDAQ.
This information is pure gold.
Key Talking Points
CVSI is less than half the market cap of CWBHF with nearly identical financials
I like it.
I am betting on fundamentals here. If NASDAQ or FB hits, it’ll be a pleasant surprise. My money is on the amazing fundamentals!
Some haven’t covered their short positions yet. Don’t worry,, some will be in praise mode tomorrow.
I don’t waste time with people that lack credibility. If you are so smart, then write an article countering the streetwise report on CVSI. Otherwise, your words get lost in the wind.
I’m very happy to be investing here in a company that will save lives. I love Avita Medical. I am forever your loyal investor.
Good point. Maybe it was a bad example, but I hope you get my drift.
Take your 22 posts, and go home. No one here cares what you think.
Going against StreetWise Reports is like going against the NY times. You'd have to be smoking meth to believe that you are going to outdo one of their reports.
If this dips more, then I am going to buy more every chance I get. Period. Loading time.
Why don't you write an article to counter his then if you feel so strongly about it? The Streetwise Reports are the #1 publication in the biotech sector --just so you know.
I'm not saying that all acquisitions fail; I'm saying that 70% fail, and the evidence backs this claim. However, if CW claims that they will use acquisitions to grow above the competition, I am here to point out that most acquisitions fail, so it will take a really special kind of management team to pull off such an endeavor. I hope your management team has what it takes to pull it off. GLTY
Realistically, they are not apples and oranges, but you can keep telling yourself that.
Cannabis/hemp/marijuana are the same exact plant. The differences stem from how such plants are grown.
Hemp plants are cannabis plants that are sown closely together which causes them to grow tall when they compete for sunlight. Also with hemp, the male plants are not removed which causes pollination, and this reduces THC levels significantly and makes the buds seedy.
Marijuana plants are cannabis plants that are sown in individual pots; males are removed to prevent pollination. As a result, the plants grow more bushy and produce higher levels of THC.
Hemp cannabis and marijuana cannabis both produce THC. Certain hemp strains are bred to have low levels of THC, and certain marijuana strains are bred to have high levels of THC.
Full Spectrum CBD oil also contains small amounts of THC.
--Apples vs. Oranges proven wrong. CWBHF did not reinvent the wheel. I would encourage you to "attempt" to disprove my claim.
Before one barks excitedly like a dog that just saw his owner come home, one should read this:
This Company Has Better Numbers than Tilray at 1/25th the Price
I would put my faith in this senior-level investor author over anyone in these forums.
As you can see here from the Alexis Bortel epilepsy case, CBD alone doesn't always work for seizures. Sometimes THC is needed. CW's product will not help all children with epilepsy. This is one example:
Colorado girl suing Jeff Sessions over medical marijuana, encouraged by recent FDA approval
For you to suggest that CWBHF will take on a superior lead as a result of acquisitions is evidence that you don't even realize the statistics regarding how a vast majority of acquisitions fail. Super-experienced management from much bigger multi-billion dollar companies have realized the hard way that acquisitions are a hit or miss strategy. I would suggest to the CWBHF management to rethink your strategy if you think that acquisitions are a sure-fire way to get ahead.
Here is a list of much bigger companies that realized the hard way that acquisitions are hit or miss --mostly miss
Take this or leave it, but it's the truth. No level of experienced management can attest that this isn't the truth.
Better management? You think so? Do you realize that CVSI has an NFL top neurosurgeon on the board? CVSI has the only GRAS self affirmation on a cannabis product in the world. Everyone else is way behind in that regard. Mona is no longer CEO; that issue is now irrelevant. CVSI makes better revenue per percentage of market share. I care more about fundamentals than an uplisting. DD is your friend.
Acquisitions are only successful 30% of the time. —Not very good odds. —Joint Ventures are better. —Just a tip. Also, if CVSI doubles soon, then how much cash will CVSI have?
70% of acquisitions fail
Are you sure that acquisitions are the best strategy?
Final Update: CVSI v CWEB m-caps
update - click here
I never doubted that both were good buys. Some folks were saying that CWEB's market cap was around $225 million as per eTrade, so I've been trying to get to the bottom of it since it's a close competitor to CVSI, and I don't want people running away from CVSI for something they misconceive to be an extraordinarily low market cap.
So if CWEB's actual O/S are 93M, then it has a Market Cap of $1.192 Billion based on a share price of $12.82.
If CVSI's actual O/S are 90.5M, then it has a Market Cap of $470.6 Million based on a share price of $5.2.
470.6/1192=.3948 = 39.48%
So CVSI is currently valued at 39.48% of CWBHF's Market Cap. That's all that I was trying to clarify. Have a great day! I feel both are great investments, but I feel that CVSI will explode faster after the bogus lawsuits are no longer hindering it which is my point.
