Realistically, they are not apples and oranges, but you can keep telling yourself that.

Cannabis/hemp/marijuana are the same exact plant. The differences stem from how such plants are grown.

Hemp plants are cannabis plants that are sown closely together which causes them to grow tall when they compete for sunlight. Also with hemp, the male plants are not removed which causes pollination, and this reduces THC levels significantly and makes the buds seedy.

Marijuana plants are cannabis plants that are sown in individual pots; males are removed to prevent pollination. As a result, the plants grow more bushy and produce higher levels of THC.

Hemp cannabis and marijuana cannabis both produce THC. Certain hemp strains are bred to have low levels of THC, and certain marijuana strains are bred to have high levels of THC.

Full Spectrum CBD oil also contains small amounts of THC.
