onco: p.c. illiterate, trying to figure how to send a link?
iam going to ask a question and this may indirectly have to do wmi. colonial bank went into recievership with the fdic and sold to bb@t. shouldnt colonial bank have been bid on instead of directly sold to bb@T? [UNLESS THERE WERE BIDS THAT I DONT KNOW ABOUT. i also read this in the article about colonial and wondered why the differenc ,when it comes to WMI. BB&T said it will not buy any of the assets or assume any obligations of Colonial’s holding company, including any relating to, Taylor, Bean and Whitaker Mortgage Corp.
my question on this is , why did wmi holding company go along with the wmb bank, while the holding company of colonial bank did not? iam not saying jpm shouldve got anything, wmi,or wmb, just wondered about the difference in the takeover.
ive said this before, weather there is a merger, buyout, share swap, could it be weil , jpm, fdic and the gov. wants to keep this out of the news. if it makes the fdic and jpm look bad couldnt that be diasterious for the economy and if it drives jpm stock down couldnt that also hurt us stockholders of wmi in the either short or long term also?
man , what a racket the mms are, bid.1105 and a sell goes thru for .0096
vic: i didnt sell my house to buy this stock, but i did sell the garage to buy some more of wamu. gooooooooooo wamu
fsshon, i kinda figured that , thanks, also brought that up to show how hard it is to get shares .
fsshon: i bought some more wamu, 10,000 shares not much according to your standards, but thats besides the point. i noticed the volumne is a little higher than normal so iam wondering why it took so long to by just 10,000 shares. it took 7 transactions to fill my order. what is your opinion on why it took that many transactions to fill? could a lot of trades have been between the mms making the volumne look higher than usual, trying to get investors to sell low?
zab: i know theres going to be a lot more, gooooooooooowamu
fsson: i thank you, and if newt gets paid, fsshon gets paid,or if fsson gets paid , newt gets paid. will be looking to meet you and all the other investors that have really been a great asset to this board in vegas, and everone else. [never been there, looking forward to it]
jhd
; i new watt u mint ore watt u wherr gitting att
diamond: why do we wamuers need to shut the h up untill 12:00 tomorrow. you going to buy another 100,000 shares and you dont want the pps to go up? you probably already own more that everone on here combined, GREEDY
diamond: if we hit $12 a share , my post will have tears of joy running down it, i have never had any good luck in my life, mabe the first. wont be rich, but will be well off
diamond: about the new law on naked shorting, the question weather it stops shorting is ,were the fines tough enough to stop naked shorting, and like a lot of laws on books, will the sec keep up being tough on naked shorting or after a while start getting slack and and like a lot of laws no or little enforcement
qpci up 80%
qpci -up 80%
qpci- volumne picking up - up 40%
qpci- volumne picking up, up 40%
about pr making jpm look bad , if there were bad pr for jpm, if there were a merger or share swap then our shares of jpm wouldnt be worth as much
about our attorneys weil and getting all this out to the press, i wonder if they want to keep this quiet for this main reason. the better jpm looks the more money will get in a settlement. if weil were to make jpm really look bad the banking industry and or jpm wont be worth as much, and over all that would also hurt wmi in the settlement [hurt the economy in the long run]
if there is no bid , could it be the mms trading between themselves? to make it look like some action is going on to get buyers interested
now it shows 111 million
sidedraft: not that the rule of discover was put off, like it might have been delayed. Email from Quinn Emanual New york
There has been a delay in the document production as the parties negotiate a schedule per the court’s request
this was from pennyrich
the rule of discovery being put off ,might be a good sign. mabe thats bringing jpm closer to a settlement.
sidedraft: that 5:00 PM is EST. for jpm
cub: ok, lets say when it comes down to lawyers representings us, the committee gives them the ok. you sign up to the comittee to represent you. now here is the question, lets say that you dont want the laywers to represent you , for the reason that they will take 40% of what you recieve for your shares or more can you back out? just asking to make sure before i jump into anything, iam not a attorney and i do know how things can backfire on you
i dont know how much the relationship of what iam going to say has to do with this. this is about a inheirtance that i recieved. i was contacted by a attorney that i may recieve some money and he was serching for the sole heirs of who may be in line for this inheirtance. he told me that i was one of the heirs. so on , and so on , i sighed a form that he was representing me , so many other heirs did also. after the settlement , i found out that , lets say 1/3 to 1/2 of the heirs didnt sign with a attorney . those that didnt sign recieved the full amount of settlement , those that did sign only recieved about 60 or less of the settlement. my question , could the same thing happen to those that registar there shares, and those that dont registar there shares. in other words are you giving a attorney a right to reap part of the settlement if the shareholders they represent of the commons are of whatever value
see that buy go thru at the ask, 1/4 million
jimmy: sounds like your trying to get the shares at the bid, thats probably why your not getting all your shares at once, or unless ms are playing with you. shares may be hard to come by
lol, a bunch of dead sharks
jim: hope its a hell of a short fuze
somethings fishy, i see all those small 100- 200 trades going thru, mms up to there tricks
seth: if jpm buys out wamu , were not screwed , the ones that sold are, its just less shares that jpm will have to buy
jim
; could jpm own way alot more shares than the 4.75% of wamu stock thru there subsidiaries without having to file, i think 4g
uzual: they get caught with there shorts down and bent over
i bet towards the end of the day, power hour , the pps starts climbing, take a guess-.105 -.11 at least
michael, nobodys selling and the mm want to keep the price as low as they can , so there keeping it down to get a few cheapies
accip: i do to , just didnt have one on wamuq, which i should have had. and did hit a spike once, got my money, then the stock made a huge drop
kinda nice to read a sell order when you put the sell in at $30.00 dollars a share, it tells what the order would sell at, looks good , up in the millions. give me a heart attack if it sold for that
jhd, i had a sell in high before , never had one cancelled yet, but thanks , ill be watching for that
calm before the storm, kinda quiet in here. not much action on trades, kinda holding its pps
