Yep. It all comes back to audited numbers.
td
Can you clarify that a bit more?
...eliminating about 10,000,000 worth of debt
...and in essence puts 10,000,00 back into the company balance sheets. I know it is a typo.. though what was the debt for?
Any info appreciated.
td
Monkeyfrog, thank you for your DD on PBLS even though you
are out at this time.
To the impatient on this board:
It is interesting that so many find this stock frustrating.
Yes, the PR's are vague though my thinking is that they (PBLS management) is getting some very solid advice from their lawyers, accountants, PR people etc. and are taking care of the business plan and acquisitions first and foremost. Can you even imagine the DD that needs to be done before they announce a PR of an acquisition? At the same time, I am confident they care about the shareholders as evident of their PR's. We matter to them. Look at the PR's just after Katrina issued by Paul Alonzo.
This is a good man. Louisiana is his home, he cares. He is building a business and telling us what he can now. Come on, his company is on the pink sheets. I'll bet he is more anxious than us to get onto another exchange and end this share price manipulation.
Do you want them to post what you want to hear whether or not they are ready? That would be irresponsible.
PR's have been posted...not a detailed anything (as the audited financials are still being scrutinized hopefully by some pain in the butt they've hired to ensure transparency.)
We have had a PR saying there is a delay in the filing of the closing documents of the ProGas Inc. acquisiton. I'm ok with that. We've been updated on the ProGas acquisition...yes, it is going to take longer. I say, thanks for the update. Take the time you need to get it right.
Why do some on this board think building a solid company should have been completed yesterday? That is not how it goes.
Let PBLS do it's job building a solid profitable company. I'll bet there is alot of paperwork swirling around between the accountants, attorneys, SEC, yada yada yada...
Todays' PR was good news. Cash paid for leasing the 7000 plus acres for exploration with a good shot at pulling out oil.
You are unhappy with the cash deal? You want them to announce a toxic convertible for funding?
Not me. Not for my investment. Been there, done that.
Can you see where I'm going here?
Some of you need to take a deep breath and relax.
Patience.
Read the DD posted by treepeople and powerpole.
Better yet, give the company a call.
Whew!! I feel better now...lol.
td
I have him on ignore.
td
This is a growth company. Keep the big picture in mind.
Everyday price watching is a waste of time unless you want to flip shares (truely ridiculous at these levels IMO.) Besides, it's boring to watch.
Waiting for the audited financials from PBLS and audited numbers from ProGas with a move off the pinks, now that is exciting!
This company reminds me alot of TGA a few years ago except that they have multi acquisitions that fit perfectly together.
td
I believe they would need your certs in hand(redeposited into your account) before selling your shares.
td
Yes. Before Katrina.

Thanks ric,
Now that is representative of the growth seen by big money.
td
I agree though I am looking further out at this companys' growth in a few years and what the PPS will be then (which to me will be the real reward.)
I also think that the PPS being "out of whack" is the only
way to describe it.
Wonder what being in whack feels like..lol.
td
Because it is on the Pinksheets.
Hopefully not for long.
td
HPeterson,
Perhaps this is why:
The financing structure frees producers to focus their capital resources on core oil and gas producing activities while providing Phoenix with
"partial ownership, pre-agreed lease payouts and revenues over a designated time period."
I would think that revenues will be proportional to the percentage of the "partial ownership."
Can anyone tell me how a partial ownership equates to an acquisition?

Thanks,
td
PP,
Thanks for the clarification.
td
Remember the photos that Misty initially posted of his trip to PBLS with his cousin?
I couldn't understand some of the pictures until now. Wasn't one of them of a pipeline?
I believe it was.
http://users.adelphia.net/~newp/pbls/pblspics.html (5th picture)
Which leads me to the conclusion that ProGas has been (lol... is this correct language? being) acquired and been a done deal long before the PR? The paperwork always takes months to complete going through the legal bumps and jumps...and that is if they are motivated to push some companys' papers harder than others, I am just a small investor in the mix here so take my post as all the others with a grain of salt.
Excellent business execution if this is so. Kudos to the PBLS Team!
Some sharp people behind this Company. Not an opinion, IMO...just a fact!
ProGas, which also has offices in Houston, Texas, is a full service energy company that provides marketing responsive solutions to Energy producers and consumers, with services including
energy supply management, natural gas and crude oil marketing, physical energy transportation (trucks, barges, pipelines),
physical and financial risk management, administrative and regulatory consulting and a rapidly growing facilities financing division. According to the company's audited financial statements, ProGas generated in excess of $190,000,000 in annual sales revenues for fiscal year 2005, which ended in August.
td
Chapter54,
Well, if the two events coincided I think we'd see all
the questions asked on this board answered very quickly, and
a share price that could rocket.
Those Bollinger bands are getting so tight my teeth are starting to hurt...lol.
td
Thank you PowerPole.
Your post further verifies why I hold my position.
Two years is a drop in the bucket when looking at the growth anticipated here.
Have a great time celebrating in FL. Looking forward to reading your post when you return. (I hope Robinhood also has read your post and has some food for thought. He was well intentioned with his visit and I do appreciate his effort. I hope he is not disillusioned.) The big picture is what I am focusing on.
I would like to visit PBLS at some point during 2006.
Paul appears to have his vision well in motion.
Love the thought of a change in QSIP....that is brilliant!
Wouldn't that be justice! LOL!
By the way, I haven't seen Misty post for some time. Is this
poster still an investor? I was impressed with the photo's and summation of his visit earlier.
td
Yea, right.
robinhood,
I would appreciate some new info on PBLS's activities on the ongoing cleanup and their involvement via their trucking and also their construction co.
Are they hauling?
Are they building?
Are they refurbrishing pools?
In what areas? (This answer could be verified, if you don't mind.)
Appreciate your offer.
Like your alias.
td
dontbelievethehype0'
After reading your alias born on Nov. 21st, and the
tone of all your posts, I believe you have an agenda to
shake shares here.
Not happening with me.
good buy..
td
How about a PR covering all of those items.
Oh, and how about audited financials and a an announced move to Amex skipping the OTB?
Am I asking for too much? LOL.
td
Now that response gave me a good laugh!
td
I've been looking for news before the announced buy back. I know there were changes in the co's name.
I guess I am wondering if PBLS just prior to Katrina being in the subs, is the companys' birthday. That is when I first invested.
td
Thank you PP.
Enjoy your movie.
td
Thanks PP that is what I viewed as a barrier.
There's got to be another thread.
td
I have not been able to find much information in the sub penny range other than the buy back offer @ .0041 before Kristina. I know there were three partners one who has passed away and one who quit. Other than that, I am in the dark as to the business model and their progression at that time.
If anyone has been holding PBLS in the sub penny range that may have a PR or two tucked away, I'd appreciate the DD/post.
TIA
td
I thought I was the only one who thought that was
unusual and noteworthy.
I just may visit their extended headquarters in the spring.
Could be this purchase may not only be a good investment but also provide a short term home for some employees who were victims of the hurricanes?
Just thinking.
td
I'm in the Northeast. My oil company just left a few minutes ago.
Can't wait to get the bill...yikes!
td
Nice correction and volume :)
td
Pnew,
I just want to also thank you for all your hard
work.
td
Wish I could do that.
Very true.
td
No wonder he's always broke.LOL!
td
Just thinking out loud, so to speak.
There was also another partner who passed on.
Perhaps there are heirs to this partners shares
which may be being sold.
Perhaps PBLS is also looking at repurchasing these shares. They did state they were buying on and off the open market. (This isn't a quote, just my recollection in my own words.)
The partners apparently were good friends for a long time. There
is also a "we take care of our own" message I get from reading
the PR's.
PBLS being currently in a strong cash position to repurchase shares for their treasury could be acquiring these shares first.
I would be.
JMHO
td
What about the partner that quit?
What was in his contract?
(PBLS doesn't conduct business without a contract as a rule.) I bet he was issued a substantial amout of shares in the sub penny range given he was partner which IF he was currently selling shares now, he could be bringing in a very good profit.
Or perhaps his shares were bought back at the sub penny level. I
don't think so as I believe the company was cash strapped at that time.
Comments?
td
This was an Excellent PR in my opinion. I am more and more convinced that this management is executing a well thought out plan and is truely looking out for the current and future investors.
...and Paul Alonzo has a heart the size of Louisiana, this is his home. I bought shares in this company when this PR was released. Many thought it too unprofessional, I viewed the PR as a man with a soul.

MWC,
I thank you for your post and am glad you did not delete it. I found it was very informative.
A personal thank you from a fellow investor. I do not post here
much as I prefer to read this board and RB and DD on PBLS. That may change as I can see there is a very good group here who are open and sharing and ideas and thoughts are welcomed. A few of the posters here have had me seriously in stitches.
My take on starboys post was that I do not think that he was critisizing you, just offering some advice.
Perhaps his new glasses prescription isn't in yet..Lol.
td
Why do you think that management doesn't read Ihub also?
Here here.
Posting the shares you own on a public board is NOT smart.
Would you post how much you have in your IRA? Your checking/savings account?
Jake,
Cap away. I don't have to squint when I read your posts.
Thank you for your service.

Also, reports available on this company. I've found nothing in
the gov. site either.
I believe this is because there have been no contracts awarded in this area. Pool rebuilding is low on the list of to'dos. Removing the massive amount of lumber etc. and rebuilding the structures are primary though first and foremost removal of debris is essential and will be for some months yet. IMO.
