Maybe I can throw little light on that. I have been looking into UBRG because they’re involved, or have been involved with the Garcia #2 well thru Atlantis. You can check out all the posts on that board, but I’d recommend checking out the ones from Krysti. She’s got a good handle on it. UBRG hasn’t listed any income yet from the #2 well and I wanted to see some production numbers. The Texas RRC website didn’t list any figures for the wells that were drilled including Garcia #2, Hinrosa and the test wells. I then called Santa Rosa Resources in CA. which was listed on one of Grid’s PR’s in the past, and talked with the cordial IR person. He didn’t seem to know anything of Grid’s interest in the NW Premont, but he knows of Atlantis and the well drilling. He said the RRC allows operators to keep production numbers confidential for up to 1 ½ years while they develop the field to fend off competition. He said oil flowed out of the well unaided and there were in fact several payzones. When the contractor went to complete the well, he made a mistake with the concrete mixture and made it too wet for the porosity of the soil, and it ended up closing the well off instead. I believe he said that they’re going to return and re-drill it or frack it after they drill the Garcia #3. He seemed very positive about the prospects for the #3 well and the field. He said he expects it to be drilled very soon. I’m not an oil man, so forgive me if I got the terms wrong.
I know what you're saying, as I never get more than a one sentence response to my emails and no response to phone calls. It appears to be a corporate communications firm working for GRID and Mr. DeHerra's other company, FORC to act the part of Investor Relations. http://parksidecommunications.com/
I've had no problem buying BRZL with Etrade.
I talked to a source close to the Texas project tonight, and I expressed my concern on not finding any production figures on the Garcia #2 or the other test wells on the Texas RRC website. He advised not to be surprised, because Texas allows drillers to "tight hole" their production numbers for up to 1 1/2 years or more so as to not attract undue attention from other companies.
Thanks for the positive comment Geo. Your professional opinion is what keeps many going in SIO* too.
I wonder how much Sam is asking for the shell? I read that there's pros and cons regarding buying an existing shell and merge into it in order to go public. In BRZL's case, I understand it's already cleaned up with no debt and no pending lawsuits.
Our days are coming soon. The wait will be worth the results
This Solimar update was just posted on their website.
Solimar receives government permit for steam enhanced production
testing at Kreyenhagen
Solimar Energy limited (ASX:SGY, TSXV:SXS) (“Solimar” or the “Company”) is pleased to
announce that it has received formal approval from the California regulatory authorities to conduct
steam enhanced oil production testing of its 100% owned Kreyenhagen oil field project. This
project contains a number of existing oil and gas discoveries that Solimar is in the process of
appraising and redeveloping.
The Cyclic Steam Project Permit was attained within seven months of application after review by
all applicable government departments lead by the California Division of Oil, Gas and Geothermal
Resources (DOGGR) and following a period allowing for public comment.
Solimar will soon be commencing a two phase production testing program at Kreyenhagen where
there is independently assessed, unrisked oil in place of up to 79 MMBBLS* net to the
Company’s working interest. The 13 to 18 degrees API gravity oil is contained in a shallow
sandstone oil reservoir (the Temblor Sandstone) which has produced at unstimulated initial
production rates of 1-21 BOPD in numerous vintage wells.
As announced on April 20, 2012 Solimar’s testing program will utilise up to 4 suspended wells
previously drilled in 2007. The first phase or “Cold Flow” testing program will involve zonal
production testing using modern completion equipment and methods. A work over rig is currently
being contracted for this phase of work. The second phase, for which the Permit to Steam is
required, will involve alternating periods when steam is injected into the oil reservoir and allowed
to “soak” followed by oil production periods. This cyclic steam or “Huff and Puff” test program will
be initiated in late 2012 once the Company’s 20MMBTU portable steam generation unit (for which
construction has already been contracted) has been delivered and installed.
In addition to the Permit to Steam, the Company is also progressing the permitting of multiple,
new well sites located to better define the extent of the existing oil discoveries and to provide
detailed reservoir information for the three main oil productive horizons in the project area. These
being the Temblor Sandstone which contains the heavy oil, the Avenal Sandstone within which
light oil and gas has been discovered and the Kreyenhagen Shale. Potentially large volumes of in
place light oil are present in the Kreyenhagen Shale within the Company’s extensive acreage
holdings. The Kreyenhagen Shale regional oil play is attracting increasing major company interest
in the area and will be the subject of a future dedicated evaluation program by Solimar.
Commenting on the issue of the Permit to Steam, Solimar CEO John Begg said:
“Securing this important milestone permit in such a timely manner testifies to the effectiveness of
the Solimar operating team in California. It represents a further step in the appraisal and the
anticipated redevelopment and commercial production of oil from the Kreyenhagen field”.
yea, I noticed that last night. The Jonah field is missing too. They may be correcting the information about the leases.

I've read those other posts as well and here is what I've found regarding Dan Polk of Progas Energy Services. He does run a few other companies and looks legitimate IMO. Copy and paste these and see what you think.

I have no idea what those dates would be exactly, that information would be available from Grid or Atlantis Oil & Gas/Progas.
IMO
I believe Grid acquired it from Watermark Holdings, whom it seems might have been under financial distress and didn't come up with the funds for their share. Santa Rosa Resources was mentioned in a previous PR as to the broker Grid worked through to acquire it.
hardrock1, if all else fails, here is the corporate email that may work, since he is the company treasurer of Anthony's. This phone for the Pompano Beach location may work too, or they could transfer you to his office.

I saw that and was a tad disappointed, but we still have the equivalent of 3 square miles of leases. Sure I'd like more, but when those Texas wells start producing, Grid could build onto their holdings. Start small and build a solid base like Dee said.
Glad to hear you're back in the saddle W.D. Appreciate your wisdom as always.
Here is the short video from Atlantis Oil and Gas regarding the ATLANTIS RESOURCES PREMONT PROJECT in case someone has missed it. Mr. Hurtt states that this field could provide enough oil and gas for development for the next 10-15 years.

I don't think Solimar will waste much time now in Cali with the drilling. They're watching and listening to the big boys to better drill their own wells.
Update today from Solimar Energy regarding the Cali. property.
Importantly for Solimar with this activity funded
and the drilling program well advanced the Company will be able to focus its resources on its operated Kreyenhagen oil
field project also in the San Joaquin Basin.

Wildcat, what is the standard operating procedure when it comes to wells with multiple pay zones like Grids' wells in the NW Premont field. With the possible 9-15 pay zones of gas and oil, will the operator complete each pay zone as they drill the well or wait till it's drilled full depth to complete it? Thanks in advance.
It'll probably get deleted, but my email is flysba@gmail.com. thank you
Now that's an encouraging email. Thanks for sharing.
ysung, the investors relations office seems to have been "muzzled" and is deliberately padding their answers to our emails. I think we have to read between the lines and play detective like screaming eagle suggested. I may try calling Atlantis Oil from work tomorrow for a few more clues.
Nice work kellog$....they've also updated this page with a few more pictures.

Thanks for the news. I imagine they'll be testing each of the payzones on the way down.
Thanks mods. We did't need that noise.
Looks like 32% of our volume was shorted today. On Friday it was 60%.

I agree with you king koopa. I've talked with him personally last year when I first bought in to GRPS and his honesty and demeanor impressed me. He answered my questions about his products and told me that he was trying different approaches toward the funding issues. I've hung in there also hoping for his success.
It looks like 50% of today's volume was shorted.

I got a similar response yesterday from investor relations. The last paragraph was in response to a question I asked regarding Mr. DeHerrera's other company, Force Energy.
Hello xxxxx,
The company has not released any new information on the progress of the project. I am told that news is forthcoming this summer.
The most recent headlines can be read here: http://finance.yahoo.com/q/h?s=GRPR.OB+Headlines
As for a merger with FORC, we have not heard anything on this, and could not speculate on this from a legal stand point. Hope you can understand.
Best regards,
Paul

Probably why we did't get news today. Be more bang for the buck on Monday.
I don't know if you've seen this short video from the partner of Kidd Drilling/Progas Energy. I'm looking forward to Grid acquiring that 10% interest in the initial well.
http://atlantisoilandgas.com/video005.html
Probably not. I added late this afternoon on the dip and I'm sure there were others.
Thanks for posting that, sounds like he's been reading the message boards.
