I hate it when my keyboard stops reading my mind. LOL. LH.
It'll be a'rite. Best LH.
D... And let's not forget we are runnin' out of oil. IMO oil prices aren't spiking because of the war but because there are no more huge reserves left unidentified. Just like any commodity when demand rises and reserves diminish prices go up. We hit new highs in oil prices today and IMO it is only the beginning. Hope you have some physical gold and silver put back. The story goes that gold is washed in oil. FWIW LH.

We have an excellent message board and a cast of intelligent, dedicated long-term investors.
This page is for information purposes only; it is not a recommendation to buy FASC Do your own DD. LH.
Waitedg... I just might take you up on that as the MM's don't seem to want to part with any at that price. No fill today. Things that make you go HMMMMMM. Best LH.
Just so we are all on the same page.... I won't be posting the DD page until my order fills. Don't want any newbies playing a trump on my ace. If you get my drift. LOL. LH.
OT: Waitedg.
Yes I do. I also was "grandfathered" in when they bought out RJT.Just seems to me that 25 bucks to wire funds is an outrage considering they do it all by point and click. Nonetheless the first installment has cleared and the order is placed at .057. We will see how much they will part with. BTW it is AON. I ain't asking for no 2500 shares at a pop. I WANT IT ALL. LOL. Lets see who blinks first. Best LH.
OT Waitedg. That is my next step. (Transfer direct) My infinite knowledge of our financial systems led me to thinking it would be just as fast to have my bank cut them a check. DOH!
Who would have thunk one financial institution wouldn't trust the other and make the funds available immediately. Heck Waterhouse probably has a running balance on all my accounts anyway. Best LH.
OT...Gary...TJ...
Gary, Online banking is a wonderful thing but my check STILL hasn't cleared Waterhouse. Whoever is buying has done it on the OTC before because the only way to fill a large order, without a jump in the ask, is 2500 shares at a time.
Juggs, house painting is a heck of a lot easier from a manlift. Here is hoping you will have one soon.
Best to both of you and all the (stalwart) longs. LH.

That is the machine I'm talking about. That jib really comes in handy. That machine looks good on paper nothing there showing how many hours though. If it is under 5000 hours, in good shape with an 8' basket and good tread it would be an excellent buy at that price. Hard to rent it for a day to try it out unless you are close to Syracuse. We went with diesel just because we feel it lowers the risk of an accident on the job site and it's easier to transport fuel.
I would rate the JLG right up there with the Genie if not better. JLG likes to use toggle switches on the control panel and Genie is more prone to joysticks. Once you are used to a specific set of controls others feel awkward for a while. Don't want to hit the wrong button 65'in the air next to a glass wall. LOL. We had a newer model JLG 80 footer over the last weekend (ours was rented out) and it performed well. It was easy to feather the controls and moved pretty smooth. Interesting that the guy we deal with out of the GR office is named bill also. Good hunting. LH.

Got your mail but I am unable to reply through that venue as I don't subscribe and I'm way too cheap to think about doing so.
No it is not an articulated lift. They don't have the reach we often require. They are good in tight work areas but we are often prevented from getting that close to a building. Our 65 will reach out almost horizontal and the stinger can be moved up or down independant of the boom. Pictured here. http://www.aerialliftequipment.com/inventory.php?id=287
The stinger makes it possible to get onto a roof over a crown molding, cornice or parapet. It also gives us 5' that we can lower over a fence without hitting the fence with the boom. Hey wait a minute ... I just thought of something... This would make a great burglar tool. Hmmm. Who needs the stock market? LOL. Best LH.
Not yet Gary but the check went into the bank today and it will take a couple days to get cleared funds to my broker. This isn't enough to round out my position but I at least have to get my toe in the door at these prices. Lets just call it Accumulation Phase II. Best LH.
OT... TJ.
A good place to start shopping on line might be here,,, http://www.aerialliftequipment.com/
However your local rental company will probably be able to supply you with all the catalogs you could ever want. Most of them double as dealers for the equipment they rent. They sometimes also have used equipment available for sale. After we bought ours they were calling us up and asking us to rent it out through them when we weren't using it. Buying new is a big step you might want to consider some of the equipment they have on the lot and try it out to see if it fits your needs. We went through a company called NES in Grand Rapids MI. Some of the lifts they had were 10 years old with only 3000 hours on them. GL. LH.
Most of us have been here a LOOOOOONG time. We have watched this company grow and change. We have seen all the news reports and scrutinized the SEC filings. We have opined about potential and possabilities till the BEEF came home. We've watched the stock price rise and fall. We've called Cal, we've talked to numerous people affiliated with FASC and we have had our own people on site reporting back from trade shows. I mean to say that all of us should by now be thoroughly convinced that we have invested our money in the best possible place for the largest possible return.
I havent posted a DD page in quite a while and the fact is there is no need for one. All the boards we visit rarely have new investors logging in like we saw (back in the good old days) around 2000 when everyone was looking online for the next hidden gem. What we see are conversations between the longs and the shorts. Better disguised here than on other forums but nonetheless that's what we got. Those who are convinced and those who would try to shake that conviction.
I personally hope the price stays flat for the next couple of weeks as a windfall has come my way and as with any windfall I plan to increase my position here.
Lets just say that I'm convinced.
Best to all longs. LH.
OT:Juggs... Before you buy that snork you might want to check out a Genie 60' with a 5' stinger. the controls are a lot smoother and the stinger can get into tight spots you can't reach with a straight boom. JLG's are IMO looking good too. We had a 120' snork on the job a couple months ago and we were very disapointed with it's performance. We've had the Genie 65' now for about six months and we are very pleased with how it performs. JMHO of course. Best LH.

This page is for information purposes only; it is not a recommendation to buy FASC Do your own DD. LH.
Took the plunge today and changed my home page from that other board to this one. I have so many posters on ignore over there that I only get 30% of the messages. The majority of what I do get is replies to that 30%. That is not to say that I don't want to hear anything negative about FASC but it is to say I am very tired of posts with nothing to say whatsoever. This board has come a long way since I started posting here and I am glad to see the direction it has taken. Keep up the good work. LH.
Tech... Who cares. On one hand we have four new signed contracts with FASC and it is sitting still. The rise in price at VMH shows someone is buying. Don't know why and don't care why. Just know VMH isn't printing shares and therefore the price is going up based on demand. The dillution here has to stop before we will see those kind of price increases with FASC. Hopefully it will be sooner than later. Personally I am getting pretty tired of sitting at a nickel here and seeing my spinoff shares at twice that. I have been a stalwart Kantonen supporter for a very long time but he is becoming a blood bank and I am becoming a turnip. News releases mean nothing if they are put out as a means to sell stock and generate revenue. We need a break. Time for Cal to start looking into other methods of financing and start making payments on his and our future. We made the payments up front. It has been five years or more for some of us and if he still hasn't come up with something he can take to the bank.... well that worries me. This of course is just my opinion and tomorrow that may change. Enjoy the remainder of your day. Cheese and rice I wish I had spell check but I refuse to pay for it. LOL. LH.
TR... It's in there. Inasmuch as it is not on the FASC website it may or may not remain an active link for long. I have tried to keep as many active links as possible so that any given article can be read in depth. You never know which aspect of this company might spin sombody's cork. There are many to choose from. Have a great day. LH.
Pizza... it's whats for dinner

Jagman... I disagree. Many companies are equity financed. Heck many homes are equity financed. How would you like it if every assesment company in your state got together and told your bank that your $250,00.00 home was worth $25,00.00? What are you going to do? Find another assessor? He knows what the other guys are up to and he isn't going to step on their toes. So basically you are screwed. If you think it can't happen just try to find a doctor that will testify against another doctor. Nuff' said. LH.
megster... Let's see there was the one to bury the 200 MPG gasoline engine... Then Tessela's device that would draw electricity from the ground... and lets not forget area 51. Just the same I do believe that market manipulation is very real. Fact is if gold had only gone up at the rate of inflation over the last ten years it would be trading over $800 an oz.Leasing by the reserve banks drove it into never never land. I have no doubt that there are many companies out there that have been devastated by short sellers traveling in packs with the DTCC acting as enabler. Whether we fall under that umbrella is difficult to say. Nonetheless someone needs to step in and see that the little guy gets a fair shake. I don't mind taking my lumps for making a bad investment decision (Lord knows there have been a few) but to have these wolf packs target a decent company with potential and drive it into the ground is something else. Until an independant agency crawls up the backside of the DTCC we will never know for sure. Certainly the SEC isn't going to upset the status Quo.
