(FASC) is pleased to announce the sale of a KDS Micronex System to Atlas Mining Company (ALMI) which will be used for the processing of halloysite clay at their Dragon Mine site in Juab County, Utah. In addition, FASC and ALMI have formed a strategic alliance to bring technical support and advice for optimizing the processing of its clay and to designate FASC as the core supplier of grinding and drying equipment for ALMI‘s mining operations.

VANCOUVER, Nov. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Brian Nichols, President of First American Scientific Corp. (FASC) is pleased to announce that FASC has signed a joint venture agreement with Zeo-Tech Enviro Corp. (ZEO) and C2C Zeolite Corporation Ltd. (CZC) to build a production facility at Princeton BC for the micronizing of raw zeolite through the KDS Micronex System. The new product called "ZeoFume" will be used to supply product for CZC's existing contracts.
Under the agreement, a new company, United Zeolite Products Ltd. (UZP) will be formed with each party contributing equipment, raw materials, and contractual rights respectively. First American Scientific Corp. will own 1/3 of the outstanding shares of UZP and will manage the operation of the Princeton plant. All profits from the joint venture will be divided equally amongst the 3 parties.

The FASC/Thermix Biomass "Waste to BTU" system and AGES was showcased at the PAPTAC (Pulp & Paper Technical Association of Canada) annual "PaperWeek International 2002" conference January 28th through the 31st in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. FASC reported on 01/23/02 that "the re-designed KDS Biomass/Sludge machine was received from FASC and assembled at AGES's new Montreal facility in Boucherville, Quebec, where it was demonstrated to delegates from the Conference. The Simoneau Group, an engineering group specializing in wood boilers, owns the facility. This company has been contracted by AGES to assemble the KDS Biomass Combustion System, a $3million Cdn. industrial heating system.
