I don't even want to speculate, I just hope it keeps going to the good.
Like I said yesterday, I won't get my hopes up... but this is looking intriguing.
I check this one every day; you can call me pleasantly surprised yet curious about it today. I don't want to get my hopes up though, I've seen too many other sub-pennies have days like this and not go anywhere. It's just a wait and see thing like any other.
It's nice to see a little bit of life here today.
It was nice to see a little volume here today.
Yeah, I believe it was that long ago. I don't even know how long I was in it, a guy I used to work with recommended it, and I bought a few shares; I wound up hanging onto it a few years and finally sold it for a small profit then.
I've seen it run to a penny or so a few times in the past; in my opinion it's overdue for one.
No news yet, but it's nice to see people are picking away at the trips 2, even in these small amounts.
I'm hopeful for something positive to come of this as well.
But, it looks like someone decided to gamble really gamble for real yesterday (Wednesday).
Exactly, they spent more on the commission (as I understand it, TDA still charges for penny stock trades, I don't know what other brokers who have gone to zero fee trades are doing with them) than the shares cost.
Hi everyone, I just opened a position in WY this week, here's hoping everything goes smoothly here for all us long into the future.
Well someone decided to gamble big on this today, lol.
No, I think most of us are all in the same boat, just waiting news. It'll probably just drop one day out of the blue.
Thank you.
I've been watching this for a while - may I ask, with the share price down where it is now, and your experience owning this, how do.you feel about the future of ARR? Thank you for your time.
I agree. I've been waiting on that run for a couple of years now - if nothing else this stock has taught me patience, lol.
Hi everyone, I hadn't checked out Wendy's stock for a long time - what caused the price drop here? The coronavirus obviously has a hand in it, but is there something else as well? Thank you for your time.
Fingers crossed we get some good news this week.
That's what I keep hoping for, lol
Whoa, anyone here have any ideas as to the reason for the spike in volume yesterday?
I could be wrong (I often am), but I think if this keeps going down, and the dividend stays the same, this could be both a really good dividend play and growth oppurtunity in one if timed right.
I remember when I was green at trading I got 200 shares of this at $5 and flipped them when it hit $10, I thought I was on top of the world.
That's why I got out of it when I did years ago (which was a mistake in hindsight, looking at the high for this past year, but anyways) - when I bought into it, the stock was under $20 a share, and the dividend was $1.36, which I thought was awesome. Then it came out that that was only a two-year deal and it was going back to $0.48 per year, I dumped it and took my profits. I just wish I'd gotten back in when it dropped below $10 a share after that.
I concur, I think things are finally looking up here.
Has anyone else found the low but relatively regular volume here lately interesting?
I just bought a whole 14 shares the other week because I had a few bucks sitting in my brokerage account. I feel for you, as I've been in that boat before. As for my stake in this, I just freed some cash up and was thinking of evening my investment out to 100 shares, and just letting the dividends reinvest. I don't have much to lose on it, and it might be interesting to see where it winds up in the years to come.
I just woke up, took the dog for a walk, grabbed something to eat, hopped on here, and was just like... "Huh", when I saw the volume, lol.
Being Monday's a holiday, I'd rather the news come out Monday night instead of Sunday; that's just my two cents though.
About three and a half years ago I was into another penny stock, with my average being something like 0.0012; they wound up doing a reverse merger and ran to seven or eight cents a share. Now it didn't stay at those levels long, but it did hit them, so it's not totally out of the realm of possibility for something like to that happen here (although it is admittedly a longshot).
I've been in this for a couple of years now; I'd be content if a reverse merger would occur and make it hit a couple cents; until then I'll just keep hanging on to it and see what happens.
This is a welcome surprise today; here's hoping it's a sign of good things to come with PTAH.
On the plus side, after the split I can sell what's left and use it as a write-off, lol.
Thanks for your input; if I hear or see anything I'll share it on here then.
Please bear with me, as I was busy most of the day and didn't get to follow things on here too much - exactly what part of today's news was it that made people so butthurt and caused them to sell off their shares? Was it that we didn't do a complete buyout of the other company, or that we don't have a controlling interest, or was it something else entirely? Please enlighten me.
Exactly; we'll be fine after this.
I was just thinking that myself; it's better to have days like this along the way than shoot right to the top and then crash down to the bottom again right after.
Aw heck, none of us know where this is going yet, so why not try to be positive?
Look at the bright side, if you get stuck with it long enough (like myself) you'll save money on much you have to pay on taxes when you sell it, lol).
Right.
