we will just have to agree to disagree on this.
thanks anyway for your 'input'.
Dutton Mention in this Week's BARRONS!!!
Pls go to page MW12...repeat...MW12 (not page 12!)and see the JM DUTTON Buy rating on Ampex (AEXCA). they have a STRONG BUY Rating on Ampex with a $77 target.
So, as you can see.....Dutton DOES get NATIONAL EXPOSURE and FWIW their recommendation on Ampex has been OUTSTANDING!!!
VERY VERY GOOD NEWS!!!!
FWIW There is Wall St Coverage of this Space!
For example, SFNT is covered by Credit Suisee, Legg Mason, Raymond James, Southwest Securities, Janney Montgomery Watts, Jefferies & Co. and Ferris Baker Watts. Most of the opinions are "BUY".
I have the link to back up my statement, FYI.
thank you for your kind consideration.
barge...uh oh better be careful
you are gonna get in trouble./eom

the two most dangerous words in the English language are
Done Deal.
Just trying to keep people's expectations in check.
thanks anyway for your kind words.
Gee, this is such a great board because one can say what one thinks without retribution etc etc....
fantastic....
Mr. Moderator, Should coverage commence April 25th..........
instead of April 5th, how will you handle the situation?
thank you for your kind consideration.
howard OHH..OK. So you called Dutton and they said
that they will start coverage on April 5th. Are you sure it will be April 5th?
Pls confirm
thank you in advance.
A very unlady like post, i must say./eom
Weby
I am sorry you feel that way. And yet, I have been quite CLEAR that, although the odds are HIGH that Dutton will cover Wave Systems, no one has provided any clear evidence that Dutton will in fact initiate coverage on April 5th. Indeed, they may initiate coverage on April 25th for all we know. And, although some individuals here are convinced that Wave Systems has paid Dutton the required funds to begin coverage ($33K), no one has provided any evidence to support such claims.
Weby, let me ask you: do you know for a FACT that Dutton will start coverage on April 5th?
It is imprudent to say these things. The individuals who are saying it is a DONE DEAL are potentially setting themselves to look very very Foolish if it doesn't happen on April 5th. This is all I am saying!
I can see it now. Wave Systems presents on April 5th but there is no immediate coverage. Everyone rants and raves about why there is no coverage and berates those who have told us that it was a DONE DEAL.
A week later coverage is initiated and then everyone quiets down. But you see my point?
It just isn't wise to say something so categorical (like it is a DONE DEAL!) when no one here could possibly know this for sure.
If I have missed something, then pls let me know. Perhaps there is clearcut public knowledge that Dutton will start coverage on April 5th. If so, then I would like to see it.
Thanks for your kind consideration.
Doma Ohh, so Wave has paid $33k to Dutton
and we know this for sure? I didn't know that Wave has paid Dutton $33k for coverage. I know that Wave Systems is presenting at the Apr 5th conference, but I do not know that the funds have been paid to Dutton.
If I may ask, how did you come across this information of Wave paying Dutton the funds?
thanks.
Sorry. If you can't post the evidence
here, then I don't want to know about it. I hope you are right but I see no public evidence/information to confirm your statement. Yes, I know that Wave Systems is presenting on April 5th. And yes, I know it makes little sense for Dutton to have Wave Systems presenting on April 5th without starting coverage. Yes, I know all this. But this does NOT prove for a FACT that Dutton will cover Wave Systems.
So, I reiterate that we should not be sayin' it is a DONE DEAL unless we have public evidence sayin' that this is indeed the case.
thank you.
Uhhh...excuse me. How do you know this?
pls provide link. I hope you are right and maybe I have missed the clear evidence. If I have missed the evidence, then pls provide it.
thank you.
waverider I am a big supporter of Wave Systems..............
and I do believe that Dutton will cover Wave Systems. However, we do not know this for a fact and certain people here are posting stuff as if it was a certainty.
This is erroneous. Just tryin' to keep things above aboard.
thanks for your kind consideration.
We DON'T KNOW that Dutton will cover Wave...................
as a certainty! The odds are good that Dutton will cover Wave but it is not a given. Certain persons here are posting as if it is a DONE DEAL. This is very unwise behavior and I think that any post saying such should have a disclaimer added to it.
These poster know who they are and they should delete their posts or put disclaimers on these posts...at a minimum.
thanks
greenWavx...Being a Pioneer ain't easy.
I remember my great great granddaddy tellin' me how he trailblazed the Upper Missouri for Louis & Clarkie so as to make sure they stayed on the "straight & narrow" but it was awfully tough goin'....cause the upstarts always wanted to move too fast or climb too high.
Granddaddy always told me to check it out step-by-step and take your time....like what you are doin'!!!
Good job man...good job.
and so it goes..................................
da deven....not a bad idea.
greenwavx did a good job. He helped out in a MEANINGFUL way. Good for him/her.

Dell ought to make a sales visit to the S.E.C.
and tell 'em all about their new security products/services.
http://aolpf5.marketwatch.com/news/story.asp?guid=%7B22A4040A%2DA8EA%2D4046%2DACAD%2D4977260BB1E7%7D...
When you think about it....there is one helluva lot of low hangin' fruit out there just ripe and ready to be picked and put in the basket!!!
GreenWavx That is one interesting story.
Funny how the problem was finally resolved in such an 'easy' manner....but UNFORTUNATELY you had to suffer some angst and trouble in order to get to that final step.
And so it goes................
OT: SafeNet buys DMDsecure B.V. for $10 million.
is this salient?

go-kite.....so i was talkin' to Paul Otellini
yesterday about how Wave Systems could offer Intel a huge competitive advantage in a myriad of ways, but Paul just responded, "Yeah, we have it road mapped already." He then went on to say that the company seems very focused etc etc etc...
JUST KIDDIN'!
On second thought I'd rather have his direct cell...........
number.
LOL/eom
Does anyone have Michael Dell's email?
I gotta ask him an important question about how Wave Systems fits into Dell's overall corporate strategy.
JUST KIDDIN'!!!!!!
24601 Good post. So the TPM initialization process....
is the tricky part of the activation. That makes sense. Thanks for the update.
barge...Excuse me for asking....
what is all this about? I am f'n lost in all this stuff. Could you tell me what the heck is goin' on!!!!
wow...
rachelelise I posted in 74741 that Dell..................
was putting this security package together so as to comply with the DOD (or some other Govt entity)specs attached to a big contract.
This is typical Dell. Collect the best of breed, put it in a package at the lowest cost and then go out and WIN BUSINESS!!!
Wave is LUCKY to have Dell taking it under its proverbial wings.
A little luck never hurts.
guv I suspect Wave will be there................
IMHO.
Also, i still see Wave on thr data sheets along with DELL!
Nope. Wave is still there.
Not on the sign-on pdf. FWIW....
It looks to me that Dell has got a major order from the DOD and has put together all these svcs so as to comply with all the required specs for the DOD order.
Yup...I expect our first big $$$$$ to come from the PUBLIC SECTOR..
IMHO...as always.
da deven for authentication & overview i see..............
Wave Systems showing at the bottom.
don't know what wrong on your end?
sorry
da deven Wave Systems still shows up!
on the data sheets. Look again.
Foam, maybe via KeyOvation Security Group................
Wave Systems will get its first big Dept of Defense order.
Or maybe thru Dell Computer via KeyOvation
Dell is the prime contractor using services from KeyOvation who in turn uses services from Wave Systems.
I wonder how much $$$$$ KeyOvation gives Wave Systems for each package sold?
anybody have an idea here?
Maybe Dell will mention Embassy security svcs..............
w/ their new data centers this PM. one can only hope.
Pretty quiet tonight. What's the deal?/eom
rachelelise...I am guessing that Wave Systems..............
senior mgmt is aghast at the stuff this board knows. They are probably paranoid about what the Wavoids will dig up next. We probably know more than 98% of the Wave employees.
IMHO.............

eamonn these Anti-Trusted Computing people don't............
understand the devastation and harm that can come from Digital Identity Theft and/or Digital Terrorism/Piracy.
Like you said these anti-Trusted Computing activists are very young and feel they have nothing to lose and everything to gain from COMPLETE DIGITAL FREEDOM at this stage in their lives. Typically, these individuals do not hold responsible jobs and/or have significant assets that can be compromised, vandalized or wiped out.
The Northeast USA blackout in 2003 illustrates the havoc that can be generated by digital chaos. Identity theft is the fastest growing crime in the country. Terrorists dream about being able to tap into our national security info grid. Inventors and artists are being raped by digital pirates. And the examples go on and on.
The world is depending more and more on the digital network. Hence, it is imperative to restore the trust in the network. Without this trust, the digital network will eventually degrade.
Ironically, the complainers ought to be the first to support Trusted Computing because they are such AVID COMPUTER USERS.
and so it goes.
eamonn CORRECTION. since January 2003 it seems......
the company is fully complying with disclosure requirements. See Bullet #9.
