Exactly.
Hmmm, it's not linking for me. Shows Larry King interview.
Crazy, just crazy. I have 3 dogs, 2 lab/pibble mixes and an Aussie Shepherd, I have no problems. Now the kids live in a rural area up in Snohomish Wash and our daughter has a concealed weapon permit, which makes sense.
Jerk, guy's a loon. Hopefully, the police pulled him aside for questioning. You don't show up to a murder scene carrying a weapon.
I don't understand how children of 14 and 15 can be allowed access to weapons. Or why they feel the only way to rectify a conflict in their lives is to reach for Daddy or Mommy's gun. Senseless murders, just senseless.
No, I did not.
Funding??? It was wrapped in a big bow and given away in tax breaks to the wealthy. LOL, but you know that.
However, I am sure there are independent studies out there.
If the study has been withdrawn, it is not true. There needs to be a new study. What happened today was not self-defense, which everyone has a right to do. This was murder by young men of their peers and the level has now been elevated, because they found explosives.
Yes, it does mean it wasn't true. If the stats don't match the study is not a valid point. And again, it's old and inaccurate.
That study by Kleck was withdrawn. Did you read the following note or just copy and paste the headline?
Plus, I don't think a study from the 1990's would reflect the gun problems of today. Assault rifles were banned, if I am not mistaken. This is 2018, as you are aware. The 1990's seem such a gentler and more civil time compared to the crazies of today.
Good! Hopefully they put the kids into child services and get them into therapy, asap.
What I don't get is the woman is Mexican, from Yuma?? She was aggressive against everyone of color, including her own race. This is Trump World, living in a bubble.
It's a beautiful and exceptional university. Many of my professors were from Oxford. I have an English degree, with a minor in Southeast Asia studies. What year did she graduate?
I have been to that restaurant on the end with the umbrellas for lunch. Really beautiful food.
I want to know where they are getting all of this misinformation? Who is their source? The ignorance on so many levels is just mind numbing. The scary part is how many more people, with their uninformed thought process are out there and actually believe them?
Unreal! Just Unreal! Shaking my head at this much hate. Seat belts, not to mention driving with a cellphone, parking on the wrong side of the street and the dogs off lead. Plus, I think they left their dogs in the car without ventilation. I hope they throw the book at them.
That's my Alma Mater and it's not a college, it's a university that they would probably benefit from attending, if they could even pass the exams, to apply.
hahahaha!
Bingo!
True, lifetime court appointees, stupid move.
It is overwhelming. There is a reason he can't get anyone to work with or for him, they know he won't last.
I have faith in the majority of this country and they are not happy, young and old. And, they are getting involved. Look at the people that are running for election. Most have seen that someone with no government skill can get elected and realize they are smarter, so why not run.
My only objection to our forefathers is that we should have had a parliamentary system, and he would be gone.
I have no doubt she will choose her time. And, I don't think our democracy is that fragile. I just finished David McCullough's biography of John Adams, an excellent read and when the country was young, we still had fake news, lousy press and politicians at each other's throats. Thomas Jefferson does not come out well in this bio.
But yes, madness has overtaken the Republican party, as they are country last, me first.
Either that, or she is smarter than him and is waiting her moment. I would assume she agreed to feather the nest for Barron. I was appalled at the way Eric pushed him (Barron) around, when they were assembling in the hall, before they went out to the inauguration.
I wonder how much he had to pay her for this appearance. She has him by the gonads, don't think she is going to go without some payback.
That's what I assumed. They would taste like arugula. Going to look into this further. They want $4.99 a pound for horseradish root here and to make a good portion can be expensive. But, as noted, it is so much better homemade, without the additives.
Horseradish. Just wondering how the greens would taste. I can't grow brussel sprouts here, in SoCal, too many bugs. And, yes I buy the stalks every Christmas. I actually still have some fresh, cleaned and vacuum packed, in the frig. Brassica family veges last a long time in the frig. That's why they were able to overwinter them in root cellars.
So excellent. You can even scallop them with a horseradish cream, after roasting slightly. I want to grow it this year. Wondering how the greens would taste.
Absolutely, and lamb, roasted brussel sprouts, roasted cabbage, etc.
Well, the longer you leave it, the hotter it gets. It's a left foot- right foot process, for me. I take the lid off and just whiff, now and again, until I can smell the right heat, usually when my eyes water. Then, I add vinegar to stop the heat. You can always cut it later, when you use it in food. Each horseradish root, depending on how it was grown, can create a different heat. Have to smell the process.
I do horseradish every year and yes I use a food processor. I like that little 4cup model from Cusinart. Cut it into chunks, add to the food processor and process, do not make mush; and be careful when you take the top off. Stand back or you can burn your nostrils, eyes etc.
Actually, it's vinegar that stops the heat process. 2-3 TBLS of vinegar, for each cup of horseradish. Later, you can make horseradish cream, etc. I have had it last a year, in the IKEA glass canning jars, in the refrigerator. Use your own judgement, if it looks off.
This makes sense. I was taught to drain the pasta and rinse with cold water, to stop the cooking process; taking it from the pasta water to the sauce saves steps.
Ricotta and mozzarella are on the list this year. Both of my children have already crossed that bridge and made their own cheese. Right now I am into making my own condiments, this weekend it's fresh horseradish, another staple around here.
Perfect. So easy and it sounds delicious. Heavy cream and buttermilk are two staples in the fridge, for me. Ina Garten has a recipe for making fresh ricotta I haven't tried yet, with heavy cream and vinegar.
I just learned this year that you really need to leave a little pasta water in the bottom of the pan to swirl the pasta in, before you add it to the sauce, as it makes the sauce adhere better to the pasta.
Well the TJ's Vodka Sauce has a lot of heavy cream in it, so that makes sense. I like the plum tomatoes, which you break apart as they cook, so you have chunks of tomatoes to ladle over the pasta. Now I'm hungry....hahahaha. Need to get in the kitchen forthwith.
That sounds sinful! LOL But I can't blame you, everything goes better with butter.
We like a spicy pasta sauce. Olive Oil, 2-3 fresh Spicy Italian Sausage, garlic, 1-onion, basil, 1 or 2-28oz Cans Plum Tomatoes and I know this will raise some eyebrows, 1 jar Trader Joes Organic Vodka Sauce. You can add mushroom later, if you want.
I used to can pasta sauce from the garden yield, but it's just the two of us now, so I don't need all the shelf stores. Tomatoes are one of the items that you can put up brilliantly. I'm into just small batch and put it in the refrigerator. I did a quart of pickled beets and onions this week and am planning on pickling some eggs and pearl onions. I am having trouble getting malt vinegar in a gallon container.
Whoa! Pasta Sauce? That's new.
Butter rules, but in moderation. It only takes one tsp of butter, swirled at the end, to really enhance a dish. But olive oil is what I cook with everyday.
Comments aren't showing up for me, but I can only imagine.
Because it's cheaper and the palm oil lobby is ferocious. Somewhere in the back of my mind, I think Suharto's kids own most of it? And coconut oil has been downgraded by the AHA. Too bad, since I loved doing Asian pancakes with coconut oil. I switched back to the good old standby, Olive Oil.

I always thought it was of Dutch origin. What a surprise. And yes, that was a screaming deal for such a large jar.
It is actually very good on toast in the morning, with a hot cup of strong English tea. Now I think I might make a batch next week, hazelnuts are on sale right now, for some reason. The power of the crowd. Hahahaha.
I did too. I couldn't believe how many jars that one woman had in her basket. Had to be at least 10 and she was sending her child in to retrieve it, since he was small and could squirm his way into the melee. LOLOL Unreal.
That stuff is really horrible for your heart, since they started using Palm Oil. There are recipes to make your own using Grapeseed or Canaola oil
I loved this quote:
NUTELLA RIOTS! This is hysterical...

Yes, guaranteed!
Maybe. They alluded to Aids comment in a report, from NPR. While vile, that seems benign though, in the scheme of his comments. It's a mystery, until they ask the question or someone leaks the other comments he made that were so "vile and vulgar."
No, lol, it's not. I think there is more to this story than just the s-hole comment. If you read the transcript, Durbin says:
