Just now Googled Polynovo and learned that there are major developments happening.
Bottom line is that they add up to a huge change represented by earnings jumping from $9 million to more than $19.
Just Google for the lowdown as it is really phenomenal. I hold just 3,000 and plan on adding now before everybody catches on.
Good luck.
Beautiful commentary
Thank you for your in-depth perspectives as I expect they will be immensely helpful to others.
Clearly there are misunderstandings here. Rather than accuse anyone of misdoing let me say that I was wrong to bring up alternative investment ideas on the RCEL board.
How things are taxed is not at all relevant here on this Avita board. Such matters might be more properly placed on boards directly implicated.
I'm sorry that I was in error in bringing up a non-applicable topic on this board.
Thank you for your help.
As I recall it was decided when the company officially roosted in the U.S.
Been adding units voraciously here and very pleased for having done so. The appreciation has been as good as ever and I'm looking forward to a bunch of bucks coming in as distributions.
So all is looking great here in EPD-Land. I hope others are recognizing the vast opportunity here. I know I see it!
Time to confess:
I got carried away with RCEL. This led to building overly large and unreasonable cash commitments in a stock susceptible to a wide range of uncertainties a Corona virus or political drama could delay. A couple of months ago RCEL was far and away my largest play.
Reality finally hit and even I can't explain what brought it on. However, I have been selling off thousands of shares of RCEL. Some of the money is being locked up in my checking account to reduce the number of burnt holes in my pockets. lol
As noted earlier I have been building positions in EPD and NLY. Over the years I have enjoyed participation in both picks thanks to capital appreciation and distributions both.
Now, I still hold thousands of RCEL shares but now RCEL represents just my #3 largest position with two other picks holding more cash value.
It may be that I got swept up in IHUB discussion when I determined that I had to build positions in Avita mercilessly as I did. And make no mistake, I'm more of a trader than long-hold type and that should explain how it is that I am greatly enriched now with an abundance of cash.
The difference for me is that while RCEL will undoubtedly do very well in years ahead, others will do so also and on a faster timeline.
However, as it happens, this pick has enabled me to gain greatly so I certainly don't want to dampen anyone's enthusiasm.
In building other positions, I've chosen to do this using a REIT and an MLP. Tax advantages are apparent but I'm not marrying any picks. When I find profitability no longer is spewing I will vacate and move on.
Avita will succeed, I am positive. And it will eventually make others richer. I hope this pick bears fruit in the coming year as I expect.
Good luck everybody!
Thank you for posting all that useful news.
You are a wonderful contributor!
Yes, I know.
My participation in MLPs recognizes that I've made much more through capital appreciation than distributions. I don't usually hold an MLP position after gaining what I expected via appreciation. Distributions merely feed me while I wait for success to come home.
Avita, on the other hand, is a somewhat speculative play and it's important to me that I recognize its proper place in the portfolio. Not long ago I'd held 16,500 shares (post reverse split) of Avita and have since cut that in half, more or less. Being as I'm not counting on immediate changes in RCEL valuation I'm building positions elsewhere that will put my cash to work.
Again, distributions are nice but I don't need them. They are icing on the cake and the cake is appreciation.
Thank you for your input, by the way. Very thoughtful of you.
Obviously you are thinking on your feet and I like that.
Normally I'd agree but today I sold a sizable number of shares, in anticipation of this drop. I have to admit being surprised by the large drop in AH though.
I'm building large positions in EPD & NLY. Both offer big yields. I don't see Avita coming of age, i.e. becoming profitable, until Fall of 2021 at the earliest. It's hard passing up yields in the 9 to 10% range when you don't see profitability in the near future.
So I will continue to hold around 8,000 shares of RCEL, convinced it's smart. But I've made room for other possibilities, too. And should I see big things about to open up for us here, I'll be all over new shares.
Good fortune to us!
No. It's just doing its thing.
It surprises me that this board isn't busier.
NLY has been a solid pick for me over the past 25 years or so. After an absence of around five years or so I decided it was time to relaunch a position. I picked up less than 2,000 units so far and hope to continue adding tomorrow.
Tides never choose sides.
We win, we lose but always
Treasure our options.
Betting against tides
Can do more for weak holdings.
Best to play both sides.
OTC stocks cannot trade in pre-session or after hours sessions. This is the law!
The follow-on order took awhile but it did fill.
Take heart--- there are opportunities out there.
Picked up 300 VYNE today at $1.64. Just now placed an order for 200 more at the same price.
As I told a friend a moment ago, there's no way I could believe shares will be this cheap in a week or two. I can wait, convinced there's solid profits to be made here.
Sometimes market swings fail to capture all segments of various sectors. My expectation is that the Biden Administration will secure a Covid relief bill which, in my opinion, will give fresh hope to acne sufferers out there which will boost the share price.
This healthcare pick of ours could finally start to deliver as we have anxiously waited for and we will have reason to dance.
Good fortune to all!
JP Morgan just announced they've raised their target valuation for EPD from $27 to $28.
I can live with that, I suppose.
lol
Up nearly $8 from here.
You don't appear to understand the reason for an NDA.
NDA's are designed to protect the company by insuring against insider information, understood that it will not be shared with outsiders. Insiders sign off and are not subjected to those phone calls to which you refer---never! An NDA is really just a threat.
I've signed many NDA's over the years. Take it from a former Investor Relations department head of traded companies, NDA's are never pushed into court. Rather, they represent nothing more than a gentleman's agreement to hold critical information critical, nothing more.
We will fix that when it's time for things to coalesce. For now we coast, waiting, hoping and lusting for change. We know it will happen. At this moment there's just too much stuff in the way.
The White House opening things up to transition is a good start. Cabinet selections within the new Administration help. Vaccine progress helps. And as a trader I can tell you that things will improve as we increasingly come to accept that there's no magic button in the sky that will instantly fix all our ails. But things will settle as we go forward, I'm positive.
Hang tight and keep adding when prices drop back to under $1.65.
Good fortune to you!
100 people could sell one share per trade. Then somebody else comes along and scoops them all up in a single trade.
That often will explain the confusion. I remember well, many years ago, when I shared the question you now raise. lol
It's part of the education we all receive in due time.
Meanwhile, enjoy the fact that you are worthy of respect and dignity for you are.

There's news out to day regarding a hookup with a pair of companies and a Virginia university. The claim is that they (and ASCK?) are collaborating on Covid 19-related air-contamination involved transmission. Nothing is said about ASCK's role in any of this. Nor is anything stated regarding desired forward markers.
The whole thing looks like a cover for absolutely nothing of value other than to create the illusion of this company actually making moves towards something investors might deem potentially profitable. Nothing of value to be determined, unfortunately. Such a waste.
What a farcical excuse for undisguised bullshit!
And every new stock
Wears a smile to lure victims
In the "just born" room.
Corona or flu...
They both stand to temper you.
Fight back, wear a mask!
I understand completely, really.
You didn't rattle me but there are a few folks out there who are bent upon micromanaging CEO's. I doubt high-up bother to read message boards, they have enough to do with their time. I see it as the height of arrogance trying to control others in any way.
Any way, you're doing just fine questioning things. Just be sure and check with this board should you feel the need or wish to dispose of even a single share. We will judge you!
lol
For a half year or more I stated here I was expecting to buy back in at $0.75 but I didn't really want to see shares drop that hard.
Today I'm afraid shares will start off with a 15% drop on the heels of non-existent earnings, enormous dilution, warrants coming home to roost and an awful lot of BS.
I am so sorry for those who got swept up in this. A good deal of the problem I believe is that investors move into position too early. I do believe there is a place for the company, perhaps just not yet.
Anyhow, my condolences to all who have kept the faith, albeit without full justification. I've been a bagholder in other stock picks, too many to want to name any. But I guess it's part of the training we all get and have to eventually accept as our training program.
Good luck to all.
My understanding was/is that his tax bill arose as a consequence of having received compensation in the form of shares.
If this is incorrect, then so be it. My hope was to clear something up.
Do you think we oughta form a lynch mob? The nerve of the guy---selling shares of a stock we own in common!
Truth be told he was forced to thanks to Australian law governing stock awarded as part of the compensation arrangement.
Some will insist DR. Perry should be shot due to a presumed disaffection. But in fact he had no choice. And it's not like he had a moral obligation of any sort. Conspiracy theories will abound so long as some investors feel disenfranchised. Let's kill the arrow, but preserve the archer, can't we?
You might read the transcript that just came out.
The numbers are good and there's plenty of positive perspective to be gleaned.
What I'm seeing is that we are in an all-encompassing pandemic enabling acne sufferers to hide behind masks. This will change but not overnight.
Meanwhile, I am adding a few shares here and there, doing so this morning with loose change---not amounting to much but if investors reallly freak out over the pandemic as I expect will soon be the case, I will be positioned to take advantage of things and dive into more VYNE shares headfirst.
This, in my opinion, is one of those peculiar times when we have no choice but to plan our moves according to pictures we have in mind---things yet to fully develop. I'm seeing VYNE as becoming the standard of care for many sufferers---including rosacea victims. With the numbers improving and gaining strength despite pandemic-driven circumstances, I am entirely comfortable holding many shares and adding as I can.
Good luck.
Maybe not.
He prolly feels like shit.
Where I come from that might qualify as warm...not too sure about the fuzz though.
It has nothing to do with RCEL It is simply how market mechanics operate.
By rolling with the punches I have made a lot of money this week. You never hear me complain.
By law there can be no OTC trades occurring after regular hours.
You are well worthy of your proud heritage.
Beautiful to read your sharings.
Couldn't the same be said for a fart?
The fast track program was a publicity stunt. Our government has not given a thin dime to Pfizer. All results stemming from their challenges have been financed through their own efforts. It is and always has been advantageous for pharmas to come up with much needed solutions to the pandemic. They will surely reap their own deserved harvest.
I'm surprised you don't factor in the effect of the Houston Methodist initiative/partnership announced today. Granted, it may take several years to be meaningful money-wise for us longs, but it's at least a very promising carrot in front of us.
Houston's Methodist Hospital is a wonderful institution, I can attest to that personally. Twenty years ago they arranged for me to undergo eye surgery and they secured the necessary funds, paying my bills. I had lost more than 50% acuity in one eye and most in the other. They picked up the tab entirely as I was too young for Medicare and had no insurance due to terrible circumstances at the time.
Today, at 80 years of age, I read all day and evening without glasses!
Regarding your prediction of the coming dump? You may well be right as sharp rises tend to be followed by steep declines. However, I sold some shares of RCEL today at huge profit and am extremely well positioned to take advantage of opportunities likely to unfold in the coming weeks. So as far as I am concerned, let the good times roll and they have been rolling for some of us daring to remain in the game.
I hope it works for you!
Crap is good. Why else would most of us indulge in creating it daily?
Tobin Smith knows?
Dig a little deeper and you'll learn that MR. Smith was fired from FOX TV for pump and dump activity after getting away with his shenanigans for 14 years. The consensus is that he belongs behind bars.
It would be very wise for readers here to understand what forces are behind the promoting of various stocks.
