Time to confess:

I got carried away with RCEL. This led to building overly large and unreasonable cash commitments in a stock susceptible to a wide range of uncertainties a Corona virus or political drama could delay. A couple of months ago RCEL was far and away my largest play.

Reality finally hit and even I can't explain what brought it on. However, I have been selling off thousands of shares of RCEL. Some of the money is being locked up in my checking account to reduce the number of burnt holes in my pockets. lol

As noted earlier I have been building positions in EPD and NLY. Over the years I have enjoyed participation in both picks thanks to capital appreciation and distributions both.

Now, I still hold thousands of RCEL shares but now RCEL represents just my #3 largest position with two other picks holding more cash value.

It may be that I got swept up in IHUB discussion when I determined that I had to build positions in Avita mercilessly as I did. And make no mistake, I'm more of a trader than long-hold type and that should explain how it is that I am greatly enriched now with an abundance of cash.

The difference for me is that while RCEL will undoubtedly do very well in years ahead, others will do so also and on a faster timeline.

However, as it happens, this pick has enabled me to gain greatly so I certainly don't want to dampen anyone's enthusiasm.

In building other positions, I've chosen to do this using a REIT and an MLP. Tax advantages are apparent but I'm not marrying any picks. When I find profitability no longer is spewing I will vacate and move on.

Avita will succeed, I am positive. And it will eventually make others richer. I hope this pick bears fruit in the coming year as I expect.

Good luck everybody!
