Dept. of fisheries order is the first of what is estimated to be a total of $150 million over time. Finally moving forward.
Use your brains, buy and hold. Check vper's web site regarding vper's link with the ministries. Gamini used to work for the Sri Lanka gov. The $150 million order will certainly put us in the multiple pennies. Order is imminent !!

Guys, many of you may not be aware, however read the headline. This order is for the Ministry of Highways.
There is a pending order from the Ministry of Fisheries for between $150 million. The order from the Min. Highways, comes under the additional Ministries vper are talking with.
Here is the link to the announcement, when they first started the pilot program. It has taken longer than expected as they requested additional technological features such as wifi, cameras etc.

Sri Lankan Ministry of Highways approves funding for LED lighting solutions

Viper's 49% described here:
Viper Networks Inc Signs Definitive Agreement To Acquire 49% Of Apollo Metro Solutions, Inc

This is Viper has a leg up on most with their wireless experience and integration with Led lights.
By 2025, the LED streetlight market alone is projected to cumulatively reach $57.8 billion. But LEDs are not the sole element in modernized public lighting. Networked “smart” streetlights help cities further reduce costs through off-peak dimming and reduced maintenance expenditures.

NEWS
Collier startup looks to shed LED on helping agencies save on light bills [Naples Daily News, Fla. :: ]
(Naples Daily News (FL) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Feb. 27--NAPLES -- A start-up with a bright idea could save Collier County taxpayers money on street lighting.
In a pilot project with Apollo Metro Solutions, a small Naples-based lighting systems manufacturer, the county staff is testing out new LED luminaires along Rattlesnake Hammock Road in East Naples.
As the sole bidder for the project, the local company is supplying about 40 of its wirelessly controlled lamps, with installations from Santa Barbara Boulevard to Collier Boulevard that started Feb. 20, following a smaller two-light test of the technology.

By the way, Trimax Wireless was bought by Viper, likely with shares as well.
http://europe.tmcnet.com/news/2014/02/27/7699582.htm
The order we are really waiting for is referenced here:
Based on the minimum of 10,000 street light unit installations monthly, the potential gross value monthly amount will be approximately $7,500,000 to $8,000,000 (per month), which will continued for approximately 20 months and potentially represent a total value of up to $150 million (U.S. dollars), as it relates to the complete delivery and installation of all 200,000 LED street lights.

It has taken longer than expected, however they have added technical features such as surveillance and wireless communication. This should all add additional $$$.
Expect this to come through any day, as it was the pilot program that prompted the letter of intent from the Highway ministry.
There is also a pending deal with the dept. of fisheries for $150-$200 million due any time.
Well, I guess this is just a little foretaste of what to expect when the real orders start coming in.
Amazing news. Why the hell has this not hit the news showing on Yahoo? $58 million plus $20-30 million, shortly Sri Lanka fisheries of $150-$200 million, plus other ministries. The wireless business, the electrical, plus $6 million for the cell towers.
50 cents does not look out of the question at this point. Stop flipping and hold or be left well behind.
I found this interesting. Here is what was in the press release.
"The Company intends to install this line of equipment to serve the national highway system across Sri Lanka."
It sounds like they will get an order with the Sri Lanka highway systems before they get the order of $200 million from the Dept. of Fisheries.
Great news. vper is way undervalued at these levels and should be in the pennies soon.
LOL, I have been with vper to have seen it well above a buck. May the good times return.

Another tidbit for you. A member of the board of vper is an ex gov. insider. vper is dealing with familiar people.
Sri lanka. vper successfully passed the pilot testing and improved technical offerings with security cameras and wifi additions. Orders of between $8-$10 million per month expected any day now.
Just wait to see what happens when vper get these orders. We will easily be in multiple pennyland.

Actually, I believe the orders where in the range of $150 - $200 million for vper. This would be expanded to other ministries in Sri Lanka.
Here is a recent headline and link.
Viper Networks to illuminate Sri Lanka with LED lights
http://dailynation.lk/viper-networks-illuminate-sri-lanka-led-lights/
I agree with you oldviperman, it has been a long time coming, however when it comes, it with like a tsunami. I know it may be hard to believe, however projections in leds sales to Sri Lanka of hundreds of millions is not inconceivable since vper has close relations with their Gov. with a guy on the Board of Directors. When, not if, the orders come, vper will skyrocket.
Go vper!
From the announcement, it sounds like the orders will be higher than they projected. Perhaps it is a good omen that they have not stated it this time. Realistic is always better than too optimistic.
Volume is up, so we should expect news soon.
Better late than never. Yes they successfully completed the pilot program and the bureaucrats are going through the paces to put through the orders.
If you look at the just released financial information, you will see a line item for loans and salaries.
Call it bunk or whatever, there is no way I am selling my shares now. Look at Farid and his family that have put numerous loans to keep vper going during very difficult times. I say they have balls and character.
They passed the pilot tests and are now negotiating contracts. Initial indications say the the fisheries need $150 million while we do not know what the other depts. need yet.
Congratulations to Farid and team for sticking this out and making vper a success.
Look at history to understand who succeeds in life. How many times has Trump been bankrupt? If you don't fail you don't learn nor understand how to succeed.
Farid is now succeeding with $6 million in annualized sales. As soon as he announces the first orders for leds lights in Sri Lanka, to the level of $150-$400 million vper will take off.
I am expecting this announcement any day.
Seems logical that the potentials sales will increase to $300-$400 million, as other ministries apart from the Fisheries were looking at the pilot projects.
Farid should get the update out sooner rather than later. We have been waiting way longer than forecast.
Great Job Farid, however the wait has been way too long. Let's roll !!!! I would like to see 5-10 cents soon.
Another reminder, Farid and team have not been paid or have taken shares instead. They believe in what they are doing, so you have people with true blood, sweat and tears in this business. Check the P&L statements, where it shows.
If they get the $150 million order with follow up orders from other ministries, I say we should be around 5 cents and perhaps more.
I won't sell my shares now after supporting them for so long. The brave in the end succeed. I will either leave with zero or see the light at the end of this very long tunnel.
Good morning all. With all the negative comments, perhaps we should all be reminded that Farid is in Sri Lanka this week and therefore it is likely we will hear the results of his visit next week. If you read his following statement, I suspect that since the pilot program was a success, we should be told what size the first order will be and likely further ministries that will have follow up orders.
For those that day trade fine, for those that short, beware. The longs will have their day.
Mr. Farid Shouekani, President and CEO of Viper Networks, Inc., comments: "After our successful LED pilot programs in the U.S. and Sri Lanka, we look forward to securing our first LED order abroad and showcasing the quality of our LED light products on a much larger scale."
elyptic. Well stated. We need clarity and hopefully that will come soon. Withe the regular income coming in, perhaps they will now have a better opportunity to file what needs to be filed. The one aspect we should also consider, is that Farid and his team have not given up. This persistence is the only reason I will not sell until we see some success. He would not be doing this if he did not see any hope. Of course with the $20 million and likely much more in loss carry forward, vper is also a tax haven for the right company to buy.
I am fairly certain that that is not Viper's office but the office of another company with a similar name. I would google it before you waste your time. Their office is in Michigan. Check the webs site for the address.
I am a member of http://www.tfmetalsreport.com/ at only $100 per yr or $9.95
Turd does an excellent job and also does podcasts with the best and the brightest in the pm area. His last blog was on miners, and you will find in the comments section a wealth of information from the very well informed members.
The basket approach is safer, however I am willing, at this stage, to take the greater risk for the greater reward. I have my DD work cut out for me in the next few months. As Eric Sprott has said this a great time to make 10, 20 or even 30 times your investment in the space of 12 months.
While it is a great opportunity, it is truly unfortunate that the world financial system has got to the stage of collapse. As some have said the US financial situation is really no different than Detroit, with the exception that the Fed can and does print. My understanding is we need to watch the 10 yr treasuries. They have more than doubled over the past few months despite the Fed's buying while the Chinese and others sell to buy real assets. Could/will be a derivatives nightmare.
I have only been in uslv for about 2 weeks and up around 60% so far. For the past 30 years silver has gone up from August through Sept./Oct. so I plan to take advantage of this and then convert back to physical silver in pslv and perhaps consider some well funded gold and or silver miners. As gold continues to rise, the miners will benefit in multiple verses the rise in gold and silver.
I buy pslv headed by Eric Sprott. The silver, as well as their gold is physically held and can be redeemed if you meet the minimum amount.
Just looking at the historical prices of USLV, it seems that when the price of silver was high, uslv seemed overvalued vs silver. As the price of silver drops, as we see now, uslv is undervalued vs silver. Hence, I would assume we should start to see a more rapid increase in uslv vs the price of silver as silver goes higher. Should be an exciting time as the Indians can't get their gold and revert to silver.
Thanks, Yes that helped. I agree owning physical is the right and only way to own silver, however I plan to try to take advantage of 3X's exposure during the coming run up to $35 perhaps as early as late Oct. then convert back to physical.
Isn't uslv undervalued verses historic pricing. Back in April with silver at around $24 uslv was over $11.
Can anybody provide some insight into this?
It may be quiet now, however if Farid comes back with an order for $150 million plus further testing at other ministries, I wonder what the vper share price will be.
For those of you who think the towers are a small part of vper verses LEDS, check out this map of cell towers.
I would suggest the market is huge.
http://www.towermaps.com/images/nationwide5.gif
For any of you who are negative, my view is Farid would not have been asked to go to Sri Lanka to be told they do not have the order. It's far more likely they are at the stage of final negotiations on the contract and installation schedules. Hence, we should hear about the $150 million in Sept.
