Turd does an excellent job and also does podcasts with the best and the brightest in the pm area. His last blog was on miners, and you will find in the comments section a wealth of information from the very well informed members.

The basket approach is safer, however I am willing, at this stage, to take the greater risk for the greater reward. I have my DD work cut out for me in the next few months. As Eric Sprott has said this a great time to make 10, 20 or even 30 times your investment in the space of 12 months.

While it is a great opportunity, it is truly unfortunate that the world financial system has got to the stage of collapse. As some have said the US financial situation is really no different than Detroit, with the exception that the Fed can and does print. My understanding is we need to watch the 10 yr treasuries. They have more than doubled over the past few months despite the Fed's buying while the Chinese and others sell to buy real assets. Could/will be a derivatives nightmare.
