I am inspired by the $5 million donation this company announced today for weatherization projects. It is terrific to see Exxon/Mobil thinking beyond basic profit and toward future-oriented improvement of our environment. Anybody else agree?
I am sad to see that the stock price has declined to 22 cents per share. I am hoping this is a short term drop and things will improve. Shouldn't they be hawking the Rover with all the new projects that the stimulus plan is supposed to bring?
Hopefully, we've hit it. There was a slight uptick today (March 3).
Here's some information on what I think you are discussing: http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/96c8e540-02cf-11de-b58b-000077b07658.html?ftcamp=rss. Let me know if we're on the same page now. Thanks!
Your comment is news to me. I will have to research it further. I look forward to finding out much more about this new possible regulation.
I think I was engaging in a bit of wishful thinking about the Rover. Given the overall situation in California, however, it certainly sounded like an ideal item for them to be considering. I would hope in time the state sees the value of this new machine and makes a commitment to that investment.
I bet it won't be long before we hear they are seeding the clouds in California. Does anyone think they will be doing substantial investing in the Rover? Let me know.
I just checked yesterday's results. They were $2.28 a share at the end of day. What a disappointment! I hope things get a lot better. Vegas is an exciting place. With conventions being popular, it would seem likely things just have to improve.
It appears the end of day was $2. However, this is still pretty sad for such a significant company. I certainly hope things turn around soon.
I just looked at yesterday's end of day results. I can see why anyone would want to move on to another stock. The automaker clearly is not doing well right now. It is hard to believe they are down to $2 a stock.
Hopefully, things will improve. I have faith in our American work ethic.
No cloud seeding in Vegas yet. I think they had better consider it.
Stock prices certainly are hard to figure. The .26 per share price does seem unrealistically low for Pfizer. However, Ford Motor is running at about $2 a share as opposed to Wal Mart's $48-49, so in today's economy, with stock prices, it seems anything goes.
This looks like an unusually high price gain. I am assuming this is the stock of the famed Sands Hotel in Vegas which Frank Sinatra owned a part of. I hope the run continues. Good luck!
Very interesting. I am glad to see that Wal Mart only lost a small percentage in stock price yesterday. However, today, at about $49 per share, it is substantially higher in value than Ford Motor Company at about $2 per share. The stock market is on a wild ride!
Now we're down to $2. I hope this stock improves in price eventually. Investors will be very reluctant to purchase any if it doesn't.
This sounds like a typical job for Morgan Stanley. I hope they are able to help the Asian banks.
Here's an article about gas well problems with brine in West Virginia communities: http://www.statejournal.com/story.cfm?func=viewstory&storyid=48477. Naturally, this involves water treatment. Doesn't this sound like a job for the Rover?
I see we've dipped down to 2.09 or so. I hope it goes back up again soon.
Now do they record the price on an hour to hour basis? This is the impression I get from viewing the intraday chart.
I am understanding your bid and ask procedure. What I am curious about are the results we see daily. How do they put together the hourly intraday trade report?
Everybody, I just managed to answer my own question via this Web site I found: http://www.streetdirectory.com/travel_guide/144315/trading/over_the_counter_stocks___definition_and_overview.html. It explains the entire OTC stock buying process. My newness just keeps showing.
Let me get this straight. You can go in and bid for a particular stock price rather than pay the established one we see (22 cents)? I am a bit confused right now.

This is an article by Jeremy Siegel on the overall nature of the stock market from The Concise Encyclopedia of Economics: http://www.econlib.org/library/Enc/StockMarket.html. I trust this will make the latest activity on NHYT more meaningful to all.
Here are more details on short stock selling from a more historical perspective: http://www.ehow.com/about_4600610_explaining-short-stock-selling.html. This should give more of a long view for our posters.
It sounds to me like what you are saying is that today's decline is probably a blip in an otherwise positive history for the company. I know I was looking at your numbers for today (a price decline of about 24 percent thus far) and they would discourage most folks. I hope they improve ASAP.
Here is a link for beginners from the Securities and Exchange Commission on short sales: http://www.sec.gov/answers/shortsale.htm. This should help us all know a little more about what this means. I hope it benefits everybody.
I just started reading the link you provided. I am very pleased with what I see. It offers what appears to be very solid advice on how to get started with penny stocks. I think if I follow along with what it suggests, I should be a highly successful investor. Thanks for providing it to all of us.
I must agree. The approximately 20 percent gain in stock price today is quite an affirmation. I was amazed by how much stock sold today too. What is a normal amount for this one? They must have lots of shares available.
I am happy to see today's over 8 percent increase. It was also positive to that 74 million shares had sold. I don't know what average sales are on this stock, but this doesn't sound bad to me.
Here's more help for the newbies: Investopedia. This link shows its definition of over the counter stocks: http://www.investopedia.com/terms/o/otc.asp. I hope this benefits lots of I-Hubbers.

I really goofed here. I didn't realize that over the counter bulletin board stocks were merely supervised by NASDAQ until I read this: http://www.sec.gov/answers/otcbb.htm. I hope this benefits everybody, including newbies like myself, so we stop making comments that are inaccurate on the basis of inexperience.
I think I may have made an error on NASDAQ. The Investors Hub briefing I received in my e-mail showed an increase of 1.7 percent for NASDAQ. The earlier figure I noted was on the main page for Investors Hub. If anyone has any comments on this, please let me know. I'd like to have a clearer picture. Thanks!
Given the 3.53 percent overall increase in NASDAQ stock prices today, NHYT's decline of almost 17 percent is a shock. Does anyone have any theories on why this happened? We've all been thinking it's just a matter of time before things get much, much better. I'm still hoping.

Thanks for the compliment.
