That's all fine and good, but just going to OB / Reporting, 8-K, doesn't change someone's personality. That said, it will still be extremely difficult to squeeze 'every news-item' out of PA. OB + PA doesn't equal transparency, as I for my part don't believe this will change how PA "WANTS" to do business. This and only this is what scares the hades out of me regarding how PA thinks.

I'm suprised no one had questioned on your statement.... hehehe
"huge news in a few weeks pushing .20cents?" oh my!
The Sky is Falling!!!

Paul, I've always respected your thoughts, and too... appreciate the works you've done over the past year or so regarding your website and analaysis on PBLS. I hope my thoughts towards the company, when negative, never reflect a personal note to those who post here and on RB. If I ever have, I apologize.. and yes I know we can all take stuff to personally when speaking about a company, as I have too in the past.
I do believe we'll be fine, but I would like my expectations to be more than just fine, I just don't at this time.
I still believe 10-15cents is doable sometime before July. If PA hits a big one somewhere, well... it could hit above .20cents and move from there.
We are all in the same boat, let's hope it does more than just FLOAT... hehehe

RB's been fun today... EOM
Why not compare a company who's 'transparency', including large investors, has made HEADLINES, but has less to offer investors,[that is total rev's compared to PBLS].
But they advertise... advertise... advertise though multiple channels including the CEO.
http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=BDGR.PK&d=t
It's my estimation that PA believes everyone will notice his company at one time, [that is HIS TIME], not when most investors view a company being built [on transparency]. When most investors see a company being built on [transparency], the pps slowing rises with frinzed... PEAKS.
So, comparing BDGR.pk to PBLS.pk we can see why BDGR is about a buck, and PBLS is about two-cents.
Temp'
Imirish, been tracking PTSC for about 2 years now, and though your idea is a good one up front, these two companies have nothing in common regarding rev streams or business models. In fact, R&D for PTSC is also nil at this time, they are setting back collecting 1/2 of the royalities for a patent, while a IP firm takes on future litigators [who are collecting the otherh 1/2]. They will have tons of free cash to give away now... and in the future as they set back and do nothing. PBLS on the other had does not have that much cash, nor future rev's [outside speculation] which would indicate this idea is remotely doable.
You give away money like this because you have tons of it, but if you expect to explore future avenues of a 'designated business model'... OIL, you don't.
So it's not as if PA wouldn't, but he won't, because there are immediate needs far more important.
Best,
Temp'
Interesting thoughts there Chilar EOM
I've had my eye on this one, looks promising, have a family member who's been buying for some time now. Won't speculate on new highs, but seems a great time for a position.
Good Pick!

I don't know how many here follow companies in which their patents are their mainstay regarding future revenues, but here's one to ponder.
If you've ever been to agoracom, try and visit this site under Patriot Scientific.
agoracom.com/nonmemforum/main.asp?pgnum=1&topic=Patriot+Scientific&tr=
This is a company which has patents that cover the clock speed of microprocessors. They are currently in the early stages of litigation which involves about 170 companies who are infringing on their patents. One particular patent is that anything over 133 mega-hertz [which has been out for many many years] gives PTSC the right to collect royalities and past dues. Intel, along with others have come forward to pay up and get out of their way. Others have too, but still most and the majority of the 170 are still to come.
Anyone here ever heard of RAMBUS? Oh yeah... Well PTSC isn't another RMBS, but, given that Intel only serves about 1% of the total amount of processors built today, there are still billions to collect from the rest. PTSC is awaiting a final note from a Texas Judge involving J3, as in the three Japanesse companies trying to fight the currenct processor litigation. The patent is clear and clean, as we will soon see, and the rest of the bunch will need to follow suit, pay up, pay royalities for the next 10 years.
At a $1.50, PTSC is worth a serious look. It ran from .08 to $2.40 some-cents, but has now settled in and looks ready to head north again soon. My thoughts here are to buy a few shares, and hold for the next 3 to 5 years. A $5k purchase should give one a nice return witin the next few years, not to mention the future dividends the company is offering and plans to offer.
I've followed this one for about 2 years, made a few bucks, and now back in at these levels to stay awhile.

PPHM has been taking off for years now, those who have invested short have won, while the longs have very weary butts....
Temp'
Are ya mak'n money regarding PPHM?
Seems to good to be true regarding operational profits of 1.9mil on 11mil rev's.... we shall see during 06.
"revenues of approximately $11 million and operating profits of approximately $1.9 million for 2006".

One might think the closing between Apr/May 1st suggests it could be included in the forthcoming 10k. Imagine all the paper work for attorney's is currently being considered, so that when it is finally closed, it could easily be incorporated into the last few pages.

I feel good about the acq., but using a local marketing style release vs. the world dominant PR News, or maybe the stip down as in Business is/was the way to go. I'm not afraid of PA using to much money or stock for acquisitions, I'm leary of letting those outside our small relm of shareholders know about it in........ a VERY BIG VOICE!.
I can see why the stock hasn't moved, and due to our last 6 or so releases are under Market Wire, well... that's speaks for itself.
Temp'
stock to buy companies should never be a problem, as we all know PA is tight as dick's-hat-band. Using stock in most cases during an acquisition is usually not a problem for most investors. So imagine a 11.9mil rev company getting very little regarding stock. vs. Progas getting 10mil in stock with 190mil in rev's.
So we reach a few million instead of multiple millions. I once asked Ron about that, as in Market, and he replied that's what Paul wanted. He feels it's sufficient for a cheaper price, so there again IMO, it's just another goof-up from someone new to the pubic business and he just doesn't get it.
What's next? Geez!

I don't understand why this news wasn't significaint enough to use Business or PR Newswire....
But some sqeak when they walk I guess.

U-forgot-to-say IMO... hehehe EOM
I don't know why you even say that? I told the board long ago that a personal call with PA... as he stated he was going to hold back news, especially the type that gives his competitors and edge, or somethign simliar. Is that something all founders do? Nada!
So we wait the guy out, knowing the 10 should answer things. If he doesn't come clean in the 10k then we have no other choice then to sue him.
Has it been done in the past regarding SEC reg's? Yes, that a lawsuit generally came next.
We'lll seeeeeeeee
I wouldn't doubt that PA feels that way... Ya all mak'n a stink? Well I'm gonna hold back news for awhile!! Of all the CEO's I've spoken too in the past 13 years, PA? I wouldn't doubt it one bit!
So we wait!
Unfortunately since Jan 25th, we haven't had significant news. No doubt Ron is frustrated with recent acquisition talks, things pending but not going anywhere. While Paul is waiting for the thaw-out regarding the drilling process in NV.
Things don't always go according to plan, so as some bash each other.. hehehe we wait. This is not a quiet period, it's a period where there isn't any news I guess unless PA is holding back again.
Thankfully PA can't hold back anything in the inital 10k forthcoming, including share amounts. Maybe they'll be a sand trap or two, it's hard to tell given the fact that PBLS has been hush about most things and continues to be.
Temp'
Ya... I know that doesn't help! GRIN
So are you saying this is like being stranded on a desert island, we are all stuck in the same place, having to view each other daily?
Would this be the analysis given a stagnant pps, no acquisitions as of yet, no news worth mentioning... yada yada yada?
Hey, here's a thought, take it out on those actually belong to PBLS... hehehe

Great question, just as how will we know PA will stay within the guidelines in "8k's" addressing any changes the company goes through...?
The less we have in family oriented management, the better our chances ing having an overall 'transparent-company'.
If PA hires just one, [1] person, outside his net of family or close friends as a boardmember, I believe we will have PA on the right track to creating a senior-class corporation. No not world-class, but it will be a serious start to one. I would also strike-out the word 'holding-company' or anything closely resembling it.

Ted, your opinion is well taken, but like most OB's looking for oil, drilling for oil, trying to find the big one to launch a successful long-term oil campaign, they are few who truly succeed. Sand, Gravel, Dirt, and the other 8 or so working entity's within PBLS will drive our PPS much higher soon, within the next 90 days, but I still remain skeptical as to whether PBLS will hit the big one. If their reserves remain as they are today, 20 working, now 8 or ?... those small pumpers won't take us anywhere. So I remain positive up until May-June, but still think our pps will peak as per my statement, setting down as investors wait to see whether PBLS hits the mother load.
Temp'
appreciate the feedback... and how about me being mod-a-rator? hehehehehe NADA!!
I would hope for example that if the edgar file is May 25th, PBLS announces the meeting 30 day's prior to this filing, then the actual date would be approx. 30 days past May 25th. That way they give shareholders approx. 30 days to study the 10k.
It will save a lot of investor headaches along with phone calls to PBLS regarding immediate questions which will arise from the filed report. If PBLS thinks of it this way, both parties will have a lot to discuss, and participation will be a lot more meaningful.
Work can be done prior to the meeting on management's part regarding any questions which may arise, and quite possibly a question sheet sent by Aus/Others 10-days after we review the online 10k filing.
Those that attend don't want to fire needless questions for hours, and those who are to be 'drilled', shouldn't be caught off guard. Enough tough questions should be developed before had to keep this part of it clean and to the point.
Getting PA to advance such a progam may be difficult, but for the betterment of the SHM, let's hope something like this is accomplished in a timely manner.
Temp'
I agree, why would Paul or Ron want to read posts every day or by the week? Cowboy's call regarding my post a couple of weeks ago pretty much covered that area... {grin} If the stock goes to .15cents by Oct or $15.00 I'll have nothing to say to them anyway! I like most here will take profits as they come and move on.
No one ever posts about the hype from these two guys and respectfully so. They are newby's, and when a comment is made about being a $1.00 by the end of the year comes forward [stated by the inside], I don't take it as an alert, just new guys on the block with new toy's and the excitement therein. Can't tell you how many times I've heard that from penny insiders, so when I make a statement about someone's business character, there's constructive criticsm meant in every word. That is hard to display here with [non-verbal tones].
Besides, Paul could care less about what I think of him and vise versa. We're here to make a few bucks, discuss all events, as we all try and build a war-chest with multiple 100% gains.
As I see it, the big risk is waiting on WY, mostly due to the terrain & drilling risk. What if say the 10k shows an eps somewhere in the neighborhood of .05cents? Based on current growth outside finding big-oil, this may the best the company does for a few years. I believe the downside here is minimual, but the downside after mid summer [since we'll be well above the present pps] is a major concern for me. I see a climb during and after the 10k is on edgar, but we may top and start to drag if our first try at oil in WY is unsuccessful. The combined OB/10K [expectations of current company evaluations] are going to be high, a few acquisitions between now and then are going to be a great lift, but I dare say again that the risk/reward [as investors may see it -- drilling for the big one] will prevent us from heading higher if there are any small set backs. The cost will be tremendous per well, so that if you really like a high-risk, don't take any profits until we find out when lies beneath our lease there. But I see this as an opportunity to take profits before the drilling starts [may], and maybe save about 30% of my shares to hold for the higher risk if we strike big oil there.
I've never views PBLS as a huge risk up to .10 to 15cents, but I do view PBLS as a huge risk once we start drilling in WY due to the cost and the possible dry-well.
As I tell my investment friends around Indy, this ain't your mother you've invested in, so walk lightly, carry and big stick, and don't stay to long at the well for it may run dry!

Well said Paul, and for my part I know I've overdone / overstated many things in which I found "negative" about PA. These were private conversations I can't believe transpired. But hey... we are all imperfect and sometimes in positions we were not made for entirely. Since this is PA's first public run company I know I should give him some slack. Ok, I will from here on out not post anything negative regarding his lack of business acum.
Good to hear the rumor about April, that we the 10k once sent, will be posted on edgar, so look out!!!
Rumor's like that seem to lead to a higher pps.
I personally have let go of 3 last year in which I would have made over $850,00.00 in profit, it won't happen here!

#13281 NO one said anything about you being replaced, is being linked to the post before it, that's why I said: "monitor". No biggie, cause the next one came up.
So please answer me if you will; "was the post in which I have referenced "deleted"?

So I see my posts are now being monitored before they are posted.... hmmmmm
Free me from sin!
Ha!

NO one said anything about you being replaced, not for a second, especially on my part. So it's said that I may understand: "The post I had in which I signed my full name, and hoped Paul would read it has been deleted, right?
If not, show me it wasn't, [post number not paste]
Temp'
That was suppose to be 'full-n-stuff' EOM
I believe only one post of mine was deleted, it was the one in which I signed my full name at the bottom so PA could read who was writing it. Others thought it shouldn't have been deleted, but I guess it was.
Oh well... I'm done posting unless someone can show me it wasn't.
Nothing more to say... let's hope news someday is on the way outside the pull-n-full regarding a stupid website upgrade which should have already taken place almost a year ago. But you see that's public stuff, public in which PA doesn't give a crap about due to his sensitive nature in what he perceives to be 'his turf'. We may see some delightful graphics, and few spin-words... but the meat in which some here are awaiting? Forget it...
Ya'll have fun...

I guess that means I should go back and check my posts too? hmmmmm

I didn't say the company put out news, the news was already out regarding Katrina and investor-plays surrounding the area.
It'll go up sometime based on the 'random walk theory'... hehehe
Later, and thanks for the response!
Temp
why would it get deleted, and why is it interesting? Don't see a clue as to the 'owners', do you?
Temp'
Most have have posted the .12 run with katrina, is that not so? PBLS is fundimentally sound, as in products and product sales. I based my buys on product and product sales, the core of fundimental buying. Why anyone would base a buy or sell on charting I don't have a clue, I have for years since 92 followed and studied it, and still don't see the value. But then we buy for many different reasons.
PBLS is again fundimentally sound, Barksdale is a catalyst along with Ron Blackburn, these guys make Paul look good and will continue to do so. But to say a chart dictates to either buy or sell is out there in left field somewhere. Sure you can go back and say, oh yeah... that was the sign I needed from the chart, but then again, how many times have those here looked at charts, posted about them, only to not post because it didn't work out. I'd bet it's 5 to 1 if those here were honest. Been there, done that.
We're all here because of PBLS's products and the two human catalyst driving our future, but unfortunately we have a rudder [PA] in which those aboard, just ship due to uncertainy everytime the guy speaks.
Paul made great decisions to hire both John and Ron, I've give him a lot of credit. But due to his arrogant swagger as CEO, I'll leave it at that.
If I bought GOOG at $100 bucks, you'd better believe I'd sell at or above $300, what a profit. So my analysis is to take that % gain, which will reflect PBLS someday soon. 300%... are you kidding? I'll take it and run to the nearest door!
Agree to disagree
Temp'
There is no way you can read .056 from a chart. News drives charts.... charts do not drive news.
I understand everyone's facination with charting, but reality dictates that without news, charts are like riding a bike 50 miles without a map.
So your saying [real-news and the chart is the fuel for a takeoff], correct? Lets see, if news comes out and it's good, then the stock goes up, thus a chart change, correct? So if you have a chart change, because of news, you're calling this a "nice chart"? I can see why after the 'effect' of news, one might bring on the conclusion your 'analysis' of charting makes sense, but again reality tells us... charting is nothing more than an after-effect of a market driven by good news or bad news, and how it looks to investors.
Let's just put things into perspective.... charting is second hand with a lot of adjustment dictated by news or lack of it.
Now if news brings the pps up within the next week or so, your a genius, right? But if news doesn't come, and the stock drops on "whatever", then your not? You see the variables witin charting are like the variables going to the grocery store....
Nothing personal here 'flix', it's just easy to real between the charting lines of inconsistancy...
Temp'
Oh yeah... and by the way... this has to dow with PBLS so it doesn't get deleted. Cheers!
Aus, that is a great read, and something I dare not to think about in regards to a solution. Imagine the Banking scandel back in the 80's, then compound that by 100, that way if something major was due as in 'halt', the entire system would go down. My opinion is that tweaking the system inch-by-inch will help drive honesty back to the plate, and unfortunately this is the only way to 'mend' what can never be restructured unless all want to see the market crash entirely. This should be an inside job where the SEC breaks written code, and opens the MM's books, thus enabling a slow and steady mixture of fix's without alerting the general public we have a major problem.
I think it can be done, but will we, and can we do it in a manner that will not upset the balance of TRUST.
