Based on past PRs they seem to like to put out news on Tuesday's, guess not today. Do you think its possible we will hear from them this week?

Also, I wonder if they didn't put out any PR's recently due to the 10K not being out yet, sometimes there is a quiet period imposed until the 10K is out.

19-Mar-2008 - NaturalNano has received funding from an undisclosed consumer goods company for the development of nanotubes that release fragrance slowly.

The financial backing should accelerate the development of the technology, which will help manufacturers of home and personal care products create longer lasting fragrances.

Funding from consumer giant

New York-based NaturalNano declined to reveal the identity of its new corporate partner but described the company as one of the world's largest manufacturers of consumer products.

The consumer goods company will be adding the fragrance-filled tubes that NaturalNano is in the process of developing to its new products.

In the meantime the additional funding will help NaturalNano to perfect its technology.

Endorsement of commercial plan

"This funding award for new product development is a strong endorsement of our technology and our commercialization plan," said Cathy Fleischer, President of NaturalNano.

Financial support was awarded on the basis of tests conducted by the global Fortune 500 consumer goods firm.

"By continuing to build relationships, execute joint development agreements and facilitate innovative products with industry leaders, we are working to bring a filled-tube product to market," added Fleischer.


The fragrance-filled nanotubes could be added to a range of personal care and cosmetic products from skin care to perfume to help their scents linger for longer.

Sunscreen potential of technology

NaturalNano's technology also has great potential in the development of sunscreen as it allows for the slow release of active ingredients thereby ensuring that products last longer.

News of the latest funding agreement comes months after NaturalNano signed a deal with the US Naval Laboratory that gave the material science company access to its extensive expertise in the field of nanotechnology.

Nanotechnology is the science of manipulating the properties of tiny particles, measuring one billionth of a metre and has a broad range of applications from computer chips to personal care.

A human hair is 80,000 nanometres (nm) wide, a red blood cell 7,000 nm wide, and a water molecule 0.3 nm wide.

I use ameritrade and was able to purchase online today, I know in the past, maybe a few months ago it was not possible to purchase online through Ameritrade. That is weird.

The other nice thing about this stock is that the float is under 50 M shares, after you add up all the insiders. This will be back over .30 in no time.

I live in Rochester, might go check out the facility. The thing that really peaked my interest was that they went into a long term lease for a new facility that is 9200 Sq. feet. Something is brewing.....

NaturalNano struggles to survive

A struggling Pittsford nanomaterials company hopes to start selling its clay-based materials additive in substantial amounts by the end of the year — if it survives that long.

NaturalNano Inc. indicated in its annual report, issued Friday, that it needs to raise $5 million by May 15 to keep going. That date is the point at which the small company will run out of money, the annual report said.

NaturalNano's stock took a beating on the latest news, closing Friday at 5 cents a share — down 1 cent, or 17 percent.

It had been trading as high as 38 cents a share in early 2007.

According to the annual report filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the company has racked up losses of $17.4 million through the end of 2007 and expects to continue in the red through 2008.

The report indicates the company does not expect to start making enough money to fund the business until 2009 at the earliest.

According to the annual report, NaturalNano hopes to raise the $5 million either through sale of more stock or through borrowing.

The company, which employs 11 in Pittsford and Henrietta, makes Pleximer — microscopic tubes of halloysite clay mixed into polymer.

According to NaturalNano, adding Pleximer to other plastic products makes them lighter and more durable at a much cheaper cost than other nanotube additives.

One of the company's top goals for 2007 was getting Pleximer to market — something it did in the fourth quarter of the year.

The company said it earned nominal revenue from selling Pleximer last year.

Why does NNAN continue to go down though, I am afraid to get in, it seems to drop .01 a week. Still in BIPH, the dilution is insane, any idea when that will be over.

I now there are alot of pissed off investors that bought in the dollars and rightfully so. I made $$ on this in the past, bought at .07 and sold around .40 before it ran into the dollars.

Personally, I think they are on the right track now and this discounted price is a STEAL here. There is definitely some sort of dilution going on at the moment but when it subsides this could be a real winner. My average price is .035.

You are always so negative, this stock is 99% better than most OTCBB/Pinkie stocks out there. Most them could never scrap 2 pennies together. We get $11 million from a major pharma company, for our patents. Bottom line, is the conspirists like your self will be proven wrong.

Check back tomorrow again or whenever they fell like telling us. LOL!

I sold my whole position yesterday and am VERY happy to say the least, like many I sold too early .0035 -.004 but I was fully loaded at .0006 so I have nothing to complain about.
