Ivory's out--we're talking philosophy, without either Brazil or Portugal giving away too much final strategy.
buh-bye
lol, funny stuff
ain't gonna happen in this lifetime, or the next
Spain is capable, but lately? Not so much
Actually, i think Brazil is flawed. We should see something v Portugal.
Argentina is very dangerous.
But, now, so is Portugal.
True, but they're both flawed.
lovely, that would be great.
Can not be overconfident, though--Ghana has beaten us before.
Given the best scenario, I pick S. Korea.
What's the word from the company since the suspension?
who is "us"?
Are you on the US team?
good call
sure, mexico can go. they have deep, structural issues just as the USA does, though.
who is "we"?
for whom are you rooting?
The Europeans are in almost total disarray. Who could've imagined both Italy and France _out_? and Germany playing England?
let's just say I'm not betting on Honduras' chances
it's possible--Honduras really only has that left back. Everybody else struggles.
Me, too.
Weird conjunction for me: when we winning all those youth titles, I taught what I called a modified Brazilian philosophy, ie, ball control, ball control, ball control & build up the attack from the backfield, with no 50/50 balls--especially in the backfield, even from the keeper.
But once we crossed midfield, and entered the final third, I wanted to see *the first player* with a chance to aim for the far post to HIT IT! We got lots of creative scoring chances that way. To that end, my teams looked more like Portugal in the match against N. Korea...

...and less like Brazil, whose players *insist* on converting up close or on set pieces.
This will be a very interesting match, philosophically as well as technically. Basically, Brazil will be forced to get creative (again).
So very sorry, Jim.
God bless.
On the contrary, I get questions in PMs and on the open boards quite frequently. Sometimes I respond to open questions. Sometimes I simply post because a point needs to be made.
Btw, I *am* part of the ALCH discussion, so I kindly repeat to you to please adhere to the iHub TOS. Doors are open for you if you don't like or can't follow...
If you're not interested in following the terms of service, perhaps iHub is not the place for you.
No, illogical is why would someone without any stake in this hang around this only to give comments about how illogical it is for people to want to get their money back because those who had no business getting involved by calling the SEC got involved and made them lose their money in the first place.
Entirely logical to follow such developments if one is interested in learning rule n regs.
Not illogical to want "money back." Illogical to think it's reasonably gonna happen.
It's in everybody's interest to point out possible fraud--if someone were robbing your neighbor, would you ignore it on the assumption that the robber must need the dough?
Sorry to hear about your wife.
best,
Tex
Maybe he's "wearing the juice":

you're still confused: no guilty/not guilty pleas in civil litigation, either.
The Burdon of proof of SM's wrong doing is on the SEC.
Actually, that's backward; the SEC case is civil litigation.
they don't seem apologetic re aclh...
good post
The hive mind must carefully consider its next post in the glorious march to revolution.
Ya, but the team was full of try *and* maintained composure. Great to see...
WE GO!
oh, ya, I believe that...
Mexico loses to Uruguay 0-1; probably will face Argentina in round of 16.
I wonder why they use the old name for BP?
It's not about my liking it or not; it's simply not true.
lol, you guys will say anything...
Too bad your "version" doesn't agree with the record.
You recall wrong.
Until the 77th minute...
I found this book:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hockey_Sweater
I thought those are called "sweaters."
Argentina pressuring the goal now...
Only FINRA/NASDAQ can halt.
The SEC can only suspend.
Two different things, unless the halt lasts four days; at that point it becomes a de facto suspension.
