It may not come as fast as those wish it to, but it will come regardless.
Global, I'm with you on the nitpicking, it really is good.
inter-state issues like this will only force new regulations on state borders or expedite legal movement.
Legalization being imminent regardless, do not you believe states will be ultimately expedited into better legal standing due to this very issue?
Even if it does start with harsh regulation against crossing state lines, it's a good thing.
Reason being? Forcing a step in a negative direction has higher potential for harsh blowback than loosening laws. Since legalization is imminent, you see harsh enough blowback to send a stock from the worst dip to new highs. In other words, Texas will be forced to legalize faster. Even the good ole boys are coming out for cannabis, they like $$$.
If you think the modern day southerner is a weed demonizin' spittin' image of his grandad - think again.
Absolutely, this is the catalyst needed to expand.
I had a post maybe 2 months ago speculating on this very issues. What happens when people drive out of state to Colorado or Washington and bring the product back home?
Well Texas can't very well ask Colorado to repeal a successful law they just enacted that's raking in the tax dollars.
So what will Texas be forced to do?
Border checkpoints? Or perhaps they'll see something that is morally troublesome, but financially exciting.
You'd be surprised how many conservatives are turning new leaves on this issue.
Many states will have to find ways to cope with the issue of an item that changes from legal to illegal upon crossing state lines.
Now is this really expected to slow down total legalization? Or expedite it?
The nation spoke, the president spoke, the congress spoke. Overwhelmingly positive, but they are approaching this very, VERY carefully.
I like this read a lot.
Are we all sure they will somehow be able to integrate vitamins into vapor pens though?
There would be a new era of ingesting your daily vitamin C if so...
It's important that in this euphoria, that investors do not let their exuberance get the best of them. Nothing comes easy or free. Longs who have been riding this with me since nickel prices know exactly what I mean.
We will be tested time and time again. So far, every hurdle thrown in phot's way has been cleared - albeit with a minor stumble on the previous earnings report.
I hope everyone here is able to 'keep it real' on expectations. Crowd exuberance leads to disappointment, which I've watched former longs abandon this stock to jump on the 'next big Mj stock' only to be again disappointed when their stock choice doesn't match their exuberance. See also: posters like porkypigg.
Mis-spoke last night, divs.
I could understand that.
You don't think a buy back is in the making after they use what they need for acquisitions?
It's a scary market - but this is a great company.
They're called thoroughbreds :)
It's definitely a realistic perspective, but with some of this riding on fitx's performance I am a little concerned.
Bill has big goals, he's unorthodox and big on using Facebook.
That said, he has made good on many, if not all of his promises.
Bill makes good on this and I can see pictures of the operation, then I'm no longer concerned.
Great news all! This is what those of us invested in the 'legitimate' Mj stocks of the industry have been waiting for.
Glad I held some Trtc in the mix.
Phot! Huge Mj news from the Feds has unlocked doors that used to be barricaded shut.
Glta
Ever been wrong before? Happened to me!
No one was expecting this approach from the Fed - what a treat.
Everything looking up for Mj stocks.
In the words of my old man - 'phot is still the horse'
Have a great weekend all.
That guy came on here to 'warn us' of his amazing article that didn't do anything.
By warning us of his article, he set everyone up to get ready to buy at the low prices he was trying to manipulate at. Somehow this doesn't break any laws?
Hahha nice one. Here's some more.
It's a fat diluted pig of a stock that's so toxic it spits venom on you when you invest. The officers of this company are only in it to get themselves rich and then will leave country only to be hunted by Interpol for the rest of their lives!
Some growers said they are getting 1 gram per watt off Growlife's supplies - but I know that's garbage because my favorite music artist hasn't endorsed them yet! I just looked up their LLC and it's a power station in Nevada - this power company is fooling everyone! No way an LLC could be issued in Nevada and not show a business address!!!!!1111
And I've reached my sarcasm limit for the day.
You said it. Agreed.
Guys I'm seeing people who were once very negative on phot starting to come out on the positive side a bit.
We can't let this happen, we need to have at least some bashers so as to maintain the proper yin and yang here.
Am I going to have to outsource bashers now? Maybe I should do it myself.
We may dip to .18 next week!!!!!!! Fear ! Dilution! Scam, sham, bam!
Not too late, every stock dips and this one is no exception. Look hard throughout each day's trading and you may find a good entry.
I'm thinking best we'll get is low 30's or high 20's?
Just don't think we'll have enough to stabilize on these highs.
Now if something surfaces from Growlife soon then all those expectations are gone.
Fair to assume he was joking guys.
But if not, we can lump him up with the rest of those waiting for .25 and below - eventually you just have to get real and jump in.
Pot stocks are befuddling even the most experienced traders. Penny stocks in the Mj industry like phot and a few others are gearing up for their eventual true public valuations - and we've only just started with Colorado.
Finally the wave of legalization has the steam it needs. I have been waiting for Americans to come to their senses on this issue for over a decade. I'm just excited people will worry less and less about being locked away for a natural plant!
Wow this always happens when I leave for lunch!
Reefer madness - pot stocks soar.
Great day to be investing in the next big industry. Best to everyone!
They're pretty spread out on it revenue streams. Growlife maintains a strong supply line while also delving into these other revenue streams- not sure if they plan to extend the consulting though Rob is involved. They own many suppliers and retail shops.
While I see this as a strength for them, it is also a serious concern of mine if they are able to take full advantage of each separate revenue stream.
The point is people aren't paying a premium. Unless you can give me specific names of the small businesses selling cheaper, it's really quite clear that online prices will usually beat out any retail store.
I can give you a good comparison off the bat. Bought supplies from HIDhut.com including one of their super cheap ballasts. 3 months later, mid flower the thing fails completely. I then have to go to a retail store and actually pay the higher price from a local 'ma and pa shop' for a galaxy ballast that I would have been able to buy cheaper had I gone to greners in the first place.
Rewiring that hood with the new ballast was a chore, but lesson learned.
At the same time I love the idea of supporting your local small businesses, so I encourage you to continue and support them if you plan to grow.
The internet price and accessibility makes it overwhelmingly more appealing for me despite whatever 20-50$ that may add on for shipping. I can get it all right there without having to look specifically for brands like galaxy, fox farm or inline can fans at multiple retail shops.
Again, I don't see how the smaller fish could sell any cheaper and stay in business - perhaps the wool has been pulled over the eyes of the entire industry - a big price markup conspiracy and all that, right?
Ladies and gentleman please welcome Titan as a future fellow long who is just looking for a better entry price.
Applaud him in his efforts to mislead board readers on the 8-k - he has admitted he is here to stay and can't wait until the next Growlife update.
Mystery solved.
Nice post, always wanted me an Alienware back in my college years.
Big name and all the gamers know about it. The Laptops really had insane pricing though.
If only there was a big name all the growers will know about....
Oh wait!
And now it's eBay?
I like how the story changes. Sort of any way the wind blows eh? Just busting your chops.
I wouldn't doubt you can find anything cheap on eBay - depends if you're talking about bids or buy it now items.
Then there is quality. I won't buy a cheaper ballast from eBay because I've already had experiences with cheap ballasts failing. Others may have to find that out and put their crop in jeopardy for it.
I'd use eBay for a lot of cheap items, but when quality of equipment is imperative, I wouldn't even consider eBay. For the Same reason I don't buy car parts, electronics or grow eqpt there.
My next foray will be multi spectrum combinations of led and HID lights. Guess where I won't be buying any kind of LED system? eBay.
Hard to deny it's true desperation when people make up rumors like Sterling died or perhaps try to mislead people on 8-k filings.
Goes down? I buy more.
Goes up? I hold.
Simple as that.
You said yesterday that 'ma and pa' shops had much better prices than Growlife retail stores.
That I can believe, but then you went on to say that greners.com is priced higher as well.
Did some shopping yesterday and checked out several different sites. What I found was greners had several products 5-20% cheaper than many, but also a good amount of products that were priced 10-15% higher than some of the others.
So I put 2 and 2 together and realized ma and pa stores aren't competitive with online store prices, they simply can't be unless they have very special deals with suppliers - where as online suppliers buy in larger bulk and almost always have better supplier deals. I found most websites under the Growlife brand to have competitive prices.
So It's very much looking like your argument is getting pulled out of your own illusions at this time.
Again, you are just a person with 'friends who grow' and it doesn't really sound like those friends are well versed.
What would I know? I'm only on my 10th year of growing - I still have a long way to go. Greners hasn't done me wrong yet.
Funny how people are reporting 'alternate experiences' - I really like the song wagon wheel.
Much ado about nothing, keep it coming though!
Well Titan?
What say you?
Was this openly stated by Sterling?
There are ways to prevent a hostile takeover, multiple ways.
Settlers of an unsettled industry - 2014 is shaping up nicely.
Additionally, unless things have changed in the last month - their sites offer very competitive prices which is why big grower communities like icmag.com will advise new growers to start there.
However I won't argue that competitive online prices may lead their retail stores to higher priced eqpt.
Good thoughts wagon, but most am and pa shops can't hold a candle to sites like greners.com
Agreed that they should be more of a presence in legal states, but I'm more interested in their online sales. I'm no fan of hiring broseph stoners as employees and I think if true, they should definitely restructure that.
Your friends wouldn't know the Growlife name per se, but one or more may have ordered products
From stores under their ownership.
Heck I had a Growlife tent for years before realizing it was a public stock.
That was a great and honest go at it.
I think where you're seeing Colorado, I'm seeing all 50 states and international areas ordering grow equipment from Growlife. Being a primary nationwide supplier makes them needed. This is all on the supply side, I can't imagine what could unfold with their other ventures.
Just curious, have you or do you currently grow? If not, or if you are not involved with a large circle of growers, then how would you even know? No offense or anything, just a curiosity.
As for making more of a 'show' or 'broadcast' out of the shareholder meeting- it's not a concern of mine. To me, over-broadcasting this would result in a fluff pr that I'm not interested in reading.
Will other phot's show up? Likely. Will they be as established as Growlife by the time they are operational? Doubt it. We are watching this one jump the hurdles that others will face in their beginning. I'm all for getting the drama out first so we can continue.
To be 100% clear - growers perspective here.
Absolutely agreed, best thing for most longs here to do is to stay out of all the bickering and stop responding to the bashers, heck - barely read this board anymore.
There will always be bashing, always over exuberant pumpers as well.
Compass is pointing in the right direction. I'm checking the stock and boards less and less. This is becoming set and forget.
Goodness, down on low volume - I better get scared and sell all shares now to prove how easily I'm manipulated.
Growlife, good company or bad company?
Growlife, needed by the industry or wanted by the industry?
Growlife management, well equipped or irresponsible?
Questions not one basher here is man enough to answer, not one response from any of you.
I know there's a lot of want to get in lower, I really hope you guys get your chance and wish you the best of luck.
What's up righsters?
What's the reason for the deep red seen lately?
Well, by saying on his level - I meant that he delves into posts. So to make responses to more intelligent posts than my meandering comments would benefit his case.
So really, I slapped him with a compliment.
Feedback is great, the fact so many feel the need to make posts on the internet about an emerging leader in the cannabis industry. zoom out and watch the back and forth, more talk the better. When we get bored of these boards, there will be pumpers and bashers to replace us.
I think they may wait to release pr. It seems whenever expectations are high for a pr they are not met.
One reason I like bashers is they invite heavier selling pressure with whatever fear they try to instill. Those who invest and have studied up know the best time to invest in a good company is when the sentiment of fear is overriding confidence.
Phot at lower prices invites a stronger buying market coupled with high volume buying pressure - I believe some of you reference RSI here. A smart investor won't buy at the highest highs or during an uptrend unless at beginning of that uptrend. They won't buy a strong RSI.
It's the only reason I truly mean it when I say the more bashing the better. I know what I'm in and will keep buying their products regardless of pps.
I can't stand the extremes on either side. Many pumped big here and ducked out of phot for other Mj plays when their pumping had no affect. Extreme bashers also wear a silly hat. If you ask me, either side of extremes come across as fairly novice traders.
Absolutely agree that I prefer posts questioning things over irrationally exuberant ones, I'd just rather see his intelligence put to use in a better way.
Global, I have been reading you take the most generalized postings and performing some sort of detailed 'analysis' or 'response'.
It's like I'll read someone say, "everything looking good" and you write up an essay on their comment.
Not that I don't enjoy reading your drawn out responses, but you ever wonder about the time taken writing these responses to general statements? I'd love to see more talk between you and the other supporters who have stated numbers. I can always appreciate the attention.
To me, the only things that matter in this investment are the company and current pps. Both are satisfactory for my expectations at this time so I'm not one to be affected by the devils advocate position.
I do hope you stick around though and maybe pick out some posts 'on your level' to respond to. If I learn nothing, it will still be a more interesting read.
Hard to believe we're up nearly 3.5 cents today on market sentiment alone.
So much blabbing on about this and that, it's so tiresome.
I'm game to let the numbers tell the story from here.
