Absolutely, this is the catalyst needed to expand.

I had a post maybe 2 months ago speculating on this very issues. What happens when people drive out of state to Colorado or Washington and bring the product back home?

Well Texas can't very well ask Colorado to repeal a successful law they just enacted that's raking in the tax dollars.

So what will Texas be forced to do?
Border checkpoints? Or perhaps they'll see something that is morally troublesome, but financially exciting.

You'd be surprised how many conservatives are turning new leaves on this issue.

Many states will have to find ways to cope with the issue of an item that changes from legal to illegal upon crossing state lines.

Now is this really expected to slow down total legalization? Or expedite it?

The nation spoke, the president spoke, the congress spoke. Overwhelmingly positive, but they are approaching this very, VERY carefully.
