Really pressed for time here midas
"Define 'earth shaking'"
Overwhelming evidence I should buy and hold midsummer when the odds are against the PPS holding any gains. For the record I only know of one potential blockbuster PR this summer although of course admittedly the door is always wide open. From all I can gather we are really down to the most appropriate timing for the PPS and the contractor combined.
Moreover,
Future planned events, targets & developments are better

"If i understood you correctly, your preference
is 'to time' PRs according to the stock volume,
while in my book, i define it as 'news manipulation'."
Use of the plural in "PR's" is incorrect. I am referring to this instance. Owing to patents (pending?) , competitive advantage, and a fiduciary responsibility to advance the PPS best the CEO knows how. I didn't intend what I said as a doctrine for all DHS CEO's to follow, hardly! From all I can interpret is going on this is my preference for YS's next move. However, strictly intended for in this instance.
Good post midas, it's here you hit the nail IMHO.
A publicly traded company should be transparent,
with due limitations as keeping its secrets
and clients specific requests not to divulge
their identity.
Glad you said that because if you recall the next expected PR (bomb detectors) was originally intended to be in three months, or sometime in the fall. We cannot know all the intricate twists and turns of negotiation but YS all of a sudden sounds to have changed his mind on this PR. Maybe I'm wrong on this but from all the skuttlebutt I can process, that is what I'm hearing.
In my experience a PR mid-summer trading had better be a block-buster and buddy I mean earth shaking! If not it simply spikes the PPS but briefly ,characteristically only three days. Then on dwindling volume sure as salmon swim upstream midas...it invariably retraces. That's providing for a pump and dump scenario which is not in the long's best interest. Therefore on this occasion I would rather see Yaacov proceed as originally intended.

All in how you look at it...
A big PR in midsummer has about three days on average before the volume dries up and wouldn't you know it the gosh darn PPS retraces.
Buuuuuuut......? If that PR possibly gets "pigeonholed" for a later date when volume returns to the markets in fall. What can often happen is the sheer large volume provides a springboard for the next PR ( by then you usually have another good one lined up).
So now you have momentum meaningful news and when your stock starts doubling then tripling by now your turning heads and before you know it your sitting on a five bagger with the volume headed through the roof. All through a little heads up planning. What'd be your preference?
It CAN happen midas as you know but there's one nasty little wrinkle...it's not my call.
Midas it's mainly Mexico mun
I'm questioning your post because it had no comment attached and was wide open to misinterpretation at at time when a lot of longs are openly questioning why the PPS was going south including myself you understand? Okay maybe I was a little hasty in singling you out my apologies.
Just did some more up to date research. Yes Columbian cartels are at work using their favourite routes but apparently now the main threat is the "Mexican Super Lab". In California also but latest statistics point towards Mexican Super labs representing 80% of the trafficking coming into the US.

I just want to make it clear the war on Meth is far from over. Without any associated comment I find that article you presented very politically "engineered" lulling the reader into a false sense of security. It's a pity you hadn't commented on the article from your own perspective as that is what I was most interested in. Anyhow not to wreck your day old chap have a good one! I look forward to what the DEA will have to say about our stingers but quite frankly not looking for much before September.
Sorry to get on your back there bud. The sentiment on the thread was turning decidely sour about the PPS. When you posted what appeared to be negative sentiment, that article in my view just exacerbated the question why the struggling PPS about IDTA's Meth Stingers I needed to know more where YOU were coming from.
Here is an excerpt from the DEA conclusion which better illustrates the METH problem TODAY. Yes your post an interesting article certainly but it failed to identify the real main problem.
"As the international threat of methamphetamine spreads, cooperative efforts among nations become vital. Cooperative efforts and initiatives to combat methamphetamine production and control chemical shipments on an international scale are critical to DEA’s ability to combat methamphetamine trafficking in the U.S."
Down Dubi I haven't had my tetanus shot LOL! Thanks for posting better understand you now.

Midas a little disappointed in this post.
Why? Purely because you have posted political spin without a comment. I am wondering what the reason was for posting this because ( hard to believe) but it looks like your bashing, secondly this article is blatantly biased.
This is weighted political spin. I suspect weighted in a Republican favour so tax dollars can be justified elsewhere. The upshot I get from this article is someone is lobbying for anti-METH tax dollars for another purpose.
There is no mention here about verifired use of Meth nationally, just a misleading focus on reduction of labs which admittedly is a start but the battle is far from over by a long shot. All this seems to favour is an erroneous justification for less spending on METH.
Unfortunately the writer forgot to mention that a purer cheaper supply of METH is pouring over US borders from north and south. Canada is known to be shipping METH south and Columbia even more so to the north. There is currently more METH being used than ever. It's more potent and cheaper and plentiful than ever and let's not forget highly addictive while easier to conceal.
Sorry but without associated comment I can't understand where your coming from with this post but definitely it is political spin with ulterior motive. Anyway hope this is useful feedback.

Jenli can I take you to mean...
"near future" = 9 and 1/2 weeks as in early September when market heats up again?
If so then yes DHS contract(s?), new product line ( bomb detectors rumored ingenious), and contracts for drug detectors are anticipated from a number of different countries. A surprise announcement? Yes I would not count out the CEO in making a possible surprise announcement though I cannot profess to know anything I know better than to count Yaacov Shoman out he has surprised me on numerous occasion.
Before then? Anyone's guess including yours I suspect. I'm looking at the summer as a good buying opportunity anything more I can't help you there bud just an investor not an insider. From past experience though you just never know.

Understanding Suicide Attacks
Best I could find so far..http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=4760240
Okay this is a more modern focus both were woth listening to http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=4753589
I tend to agree with this analysis of a politically motivated attack. If you recall President Bush narrowly avoided assassination when they caught a Chechen with a hand grenade just feet from President Bush on a Russian visit somewhere. Also look at Canada they just uncovered a plot not only to blow up popular Canadian landmarks ( CN Tower etc.) with ammonium nitrate but also revealed was an attempt to assassinate Prime Minister Harper in the house of parliament. Gee a trend appears. I'm sure other examples are out there but the point is the mindset for many if not the majority of suicide attacks is first and foremeost a tool for political change. Insert any country you care to use and I believe whether Britain or Nepal or anywhere the motive is a political one.
So what? Well this whole post doesn't make a heck of a lot of significance until you recall Identa is working closely with the US state department.

Prison Sentence for a Short-Seller
By BLOOMBERG NEWS
A federal judge sentenced a former stock picker, Anthony Elgindy, to 11 years and 3 months in prison for using inside information to make short sales and extort money from companies he had criticized in an online newsletter.
Mr. Elgindy, 38, was convicted last year in federal court on 11 counts of racketeering conspiracy, securities fraud, wire fraud and extortion.
"As intently as I listened, I heard not one word of genuine remorse," Judge Raymond J. Dearie said after Mr. Elgindy requested leniency in Federal District Court in Brooklyn. "I was so disappointed."
Mr. Elgindy, who lived in Encinitas, Calif., used inside information supplied by Jeffrey Royer, then an F.B.I. agent, to spread negative publicity about companies through his online newsletter AnthonyPacific.com, the government said. In addition to short-selling on inside information, he was convicted of extorting payments from some companies to buy his silence.
Short-sellers seek to profit by betting on a decline in a stock's price. Mr. Elgindy's gains from trading shares of 32 companies using leaked information totaled $3.02 million. He made $1.61 million in Web fees, the government said.

Not clear why so many are stressing?
This is summer folks volume dries up and PPS retracing is practically like setting your watch. We are not immortal IDTA is no different this happens each year for the entire market. Now take into account our main thrust is with the US government right now although other countries are on the radar what do government workers do in the summer time? Well if your an important decision maker your likely enjoying mucho time off because your probably a senior employee. Even regular stocks predictably fall dormant over summer months. Take a look at last year charts don't lie.
Buy on the dips if your prudent, hold, smile when the market heats up again. Fall is not as far off as you think and if your anything like me last year you will kick yourself around the block for not taking advantage of the opportunity.
Seasonal slowdown don't panic just be on the lookout for a good entry. BTW you will have competition ...ME!
Chin up longs, I don't believe it's the stock but the season.
Patience , stay focused even the best stocks surge and retreat simply due to time of the year. If your expecting major moves in the slow season you know something I don't? To be sure!

siding with midas here yos
For one much work at negotiations are yet to be completed. The more we don't know the better the DHS will like it. There is still much groundwork to go to get a bead on ARMSCOR's stronghold even with a superior product. If he releases sensitive revenue data to soon he is showing his hand to the competition.
At this incubation stage I doubt you will see revenue data until absolutely necessary. Be assured though I'm sure he is concerned and doing all he can to facilitate upward pressure on the PPS. Always remember Yaacov is a shareholder too!
Cheers...Rich
Yoh midas?
Man Yaacov's timing could not have been better here is what I just this minute got back on the new listing situation which apparently was the only thing different from yours and Mike's reply...
" About your questions regarding to be listed on BB , not yet , i am one that is taking risks but only after i am making my home works.
I am not in the time to thing to move to a higher level like BB."
What I did like was his enthusiasm for the bomb dector technology man he sounds truly stoked The move to the higher exchange obviously is a plan he has been looking at and as previously stated by me EXPENSIVE. My drift is he is channeling revenues into production R&D and negotiations right now. Definitely though I think we can expect him to take a longer look at the situation when circumstances are more advantageous for a move to the OTCBB. Sure is a lot going on in this company for the summer time. September will be very interesting indeed
Cheers....Rich
well let's see
Tell Yaacov he probably needs ummm ohhh 500,000 clams MINIMUM to get registered hmmm perhaps you can spot him the "extra" cash till Christmas? I'm sure he's be very appreciative
Well you never know midas might be exactly what he has planned but those plans are getting sure sketchy these days. I know it's hard on longs him not being able to comment, but like I say some corporate governance on his intentions sure would help. Probably hinges on a lot of maybes right now and is difficult to predict for him, that said sure would be keen to know what his plans are. You too I suspect!
All in good time sounds like July might get us closer to a decision which way he intends to go alrighty. FWIW I have not got an email back from him in a day or two, but have a request for info in to him.
Best...Rich
hmmm ok new one on me
First I'd have to know what the dickens an Ob exchange is...? Is this the new tiered pinksheet set up in effect already?
Are you referring to the OTCBB by any chance sorry midas drawing a blank here
Found it on a google search Midas
Thanks for the feedback yes it is slightly different application alright more concerned with on the body searches rather than bulk from all I can pick up on it.
The main point was it was a pink @ $1.40 PPS !!! Should we be so lucky
Interesting perspective FNT thanks
...and neither would I want YS to fudge that psychological impression so far Yaacov has been straight up with me wherever possible.
If he were to start making us look bigger than we really were then for sure you could expect us to tank seriously at some stage it would catch up with him sooner or later. Happy to report so far he has been more honest than I wanted sometimes LOL!
Yes it boils down to revenue no question, what I'm curious to know is what listing he intends to report in. Pinksheets are claiming there will be a tiered system this summer top tier going to the most transparent company records. Great stuff but I expect OTCBB will raise the bar also so hopefully a plan is afoot to get us a cut above this fall to me that would be great.
That said ARMSCOR is not the only other fish we have to watch out for...http://otcbb.com/asp/info_center.asp?symbol=TCGD note they are still a pinky
Thanks interesting viewpoint hard to keep all this in context so much happening just wish it was September!

I share your bewilderment. I have not had much time to watch IDTA closely the last few months but in retrospect Yaacov has "made his move". In fact very decisively taking on another product. Does that mean drug detection is a by-gone era? No I don't think so in fact new R&D suggests to me he has got an informal heads up from DHS on which avenue they can do MORE business inclusive of drug detection.
Bet your boots it will not have come cheaply Identa has likely spent a great deal of revenue going after this bomb detection strategy.
What is holding us back then? My take is for one financially we are likely stretched to the limit while the product is patented perfected hey it doesn't even have a name yet! So why the sudden change in strategy? What prompted this seemingly risky venture? You tell me
Secondly this seasonly is definitely not the time to hold your hat out for funding! Everyone is planning vacations negotiations get seriously protracted across the board. Senior officials who make the decisions are also taking advantage of that seniority with ample vacation time. Of course that goes right down the line to the mailman so I'm not expecting much movement before September and that could be a tad early for any new ground in PPS.
I'm as frustrated as you yos and the above is not intended as excuse making for management but simply logical laws of averages. Did you pick up on the fact this was not supposed to be announced until 3 months later? Well do tell he is only allowed to disclose so much remember but I get a sense this is being fast tracked now. R&D takes time take advantage of that. Buy on the dips IMHO and strap in come September.

Be interesting to see what news will finally break this stock out. Like you I felt certain we would have seen new highs this news is not just about the states but global in it's fight on terrorism. I'm really wondering also what the heck does it take for this PPS to find the gas pedal???

Works beckons see you again soon
I would be remiss if I didn't say how surprised I am at the pace and importance of the latest PR's and in particular the timing is candid and not contrived as many CEO's heading into summer doldrums might br encouraged to PR fluff saving the meat of the sandwich for when the market timing is more favourable. That tells me these are indeed recent IDTA developmentspossibly key groundwork to major contracts (wouldn't surprise me October will get interesting indeed.
Also it's testament to the determination by Yaacov to bring the baby to full term ( court approval ). Personally YS is showing a lot of grit right now IMHO , not to mention an ever growing confidence and why not. The State Department?? Can you fully appreciate what kind of potential this order brings I wonder...
It means any antidrug trafficking in foreign affairs anywhere in the world and our kits are at the state departments beck and call. So places like Afghanistan Indonesia and other hotspots (Columbia for one) and Yaacov's stingers will be used on the front lines of enforcement near as I can make out.
Maybe it will be a busy summer for IDTA after all? For certain much more potential for news year round as all these doors are being opened for IDTA.
Well back to monitoring on WAP guys nice phone this UT Starcom but reliability is an issue the tech support guy recognized my voice! An hour a day of tech support just to log on means I'll wait for wireless html browsing to mature meanwhile WAP a fraction of the price is just as fast and practical for my needs just not as razzle dazzle, no hairy deal.
I would have expected a relatively quiet summer for news but with so many different departments receiving orders and new product lines going mainstream, could this be one of those summer sleeper stocks hmmm sure hope so :~)

HEY MIDAS need a nice cellphone?
S'truth I swear to the IHUB Gods I painstakingly spaced that post to be easy on the eyes guess that's what pocket word is for huh?
sorry'bout that troop! zzzzz Richie goin horizontal...have a great day nostone/midas zzzzz
Thanks Midas enjoyed nostone's RB rebuttal...4am rack time for Richie.
TAKEN FROM NOSTONEUNTURNED's recent post on RB board...
midastouch15, I will argue that his comments are pure speculation. It is interesting that since RichieBoy was ridiculed by someone (Von Cougar perhaps?) a few weeks ago, he hasn't posted here. Why is that? I must admit that I don't always understand RichieBoy's postings. Even more perplexing is his absence here and his reasoning as to why it costs him so much to post. Very strange, I must be missing something.
While I am impressed with the recent press releases (including today's) I am still waiting for some big money to come in and scoop up a lot of shares. This is a good play for the OTC funds out there that exist.
While the 50 million RichieBoy writes about is 2.5% of the outstanding shares and a large part of the float, I don't know that anyone knows that it was one buyer or even all buys. Thus, my take that his conjecture is pure speculation. I would LOVE to see it come true, but it still seems like a lot of people are willing to sell at 1 cent or so. I don't understand this as I believe the potential for this company to be a $200 Million company in the not too distant future is there. That makes the price $0.10. A ten bagger would be nice...
Regards,
Nostone I had to move hence still between permanent residences so totally reliant on posting from a cellphone or a friend's computer keeping in mind I'm always away on the job half the time.
Now toss in the fact this newfangled phone is obscenely expensive and it has required an hour a day tech support for four days running then you can appreciate my frustration although this phone monitors Raging Bull it is prevented from posting there and email reliability is literally a spin of the bottle. Oh yes one more thing...despite any wild rumor you may have heard I DO have a life !!! LOL ;~)
Now getting back to those as yet unexplained 50 million out of the blue shares in volume over those three wild days , you may also recall that the PPS rose five times it's previous value prior to the 50,000,000 "anomaly" That's not conjecture nostoneunturned there was a very good reason for that bullish run and did NOT RETRACE. Here's the other part, while the company was soon providing additional PR's to ride the euphoric wave (no skin off my peach ) I never got an official explanation from management of their take on that huge spike which was IMHO not substantiated by any previous or subsequent PR or info that was made public.
So let me summate for any further focused debate...How do you define a PPS that TOTALLY unexpectedly has a five bagger blue sky breakout that apparently was completely unrehearsed and then holds it's ground? Yes it was undervalued and continues to be, but that does not fully explain the cause of that highly aggressive volume spike and explosive PPS.
Now look at recent PR's DEA a huge fed department says they are evaluating, the state department signs two orders last being substantially larger and what did the PPS do...? Bupkus but hey why it should be ratcheting up any other pink would and this is no ordinary stinky pinky as I have said before.
It is not unheard of practice IDTA is being "nurtured" revenue wise particuarly if the feds like what they see and it's my firm belief they do.
This is a gigantic market we are entering nostone and while the "nurturing" if I am correct is what's happening will NEVER be admitted to is an incredibly positive sign. This process takes patence but what I'm telling you is the anomaly we witnessed a few months back is small potatoes in relation to what can happen when IDTA is fully accepted into the fold on a spirally increasing scale as more and more departments enter their order requirements.
If the feds chow down like I believe they will this last five bagger breakout will all make perfect sense but take my advice don't anticipate any proof of financial fed nurturing till you see it in a 10K or 10QSB even then it will likely be dovetailed into subsequent larger orders by that time.
It's a strange but intoxicating funding process the feds never like to show to much interest to soon then all of a sudden just like a few months ago you sit there completely at a loss for words wondering what the devil is driving my stock? The trick is don't be to impatient for an answer, another day another department, another product yaddah yaddah then all of a sudden out of seemingly no where all holy hell breaks loose.
Well that's my take on what is going down here nostoneunturned thank you for the feedback. Conjecture ,I don't think so but truth is with the feds the investor is usually last to know. Patience it's only a matter of time meanwhile imagine how all these different department orders strengthen the likliehood of court approval?
Yep Richie will be buying one sweet new cell phone that day nostone bet on it bud!

Midas ( OT )
Cell network wants an additional 70 bucks a month to go HTML browser instead of WAP that gives me 250 MB per month then it's $3 per MB over and above 250 MB.
I spoke with customer service they said are you sitting down sir? "Yes thanks" Well sir your last session cost you $68. ...
I'm not prone to expletives Midas but you can bet I was choked it's basically financial rape if not on a WAP browser which does not allow posts just monitoring. With Windows 5.0 (Pocket PC) it only permits IHUB posts Raging Bull is strictly monitor only so back to the 30 buck a month plan for now as this UT Starcom only does Pocket PC not WAP.
So they have you by the short and curlies for the new phone and the data packet rate is just ridiculous so waiting for WiMax that is 45 clams a month all the packets you can eat 5 MBPS on a laptop coming soon they tell me :~)

Expansion = MORE revenue
Anyone can understand IDTA is expanding by the day, yet no one has yet posted an adequate explanation [ same goes for company ] or any reason why out of the blue some entity would scoop 50 MILLION shares some months ago.
Well here goes... At the time I thought it had to have been an industrial buyer likely representing a mutual fund purchase. Such scouts exist, IDTA is a most worthy candidate, no question whatsoever, still quite possible.
Only think a minute there are powerful people out there who IDTA presents itself as a threat to their " business ". Follow so far? Good :~)
So is it unreasonable to suggest those 50 million shares preferred to remain " anonymous " ? Why not, no disclosure required currently on the pinks and partcularly if those 50 Million were the means to a new product line. All the more reason not to reveal your identity and encourage prying eyes before patents were secured by IDENTA.
Cut to the chase for you. The upshot of those now long since forgotten 50 million shares IMHO , it's entirely possible IDTA has had a silent investor for months now. Moreover those 50 million shares could have been seed capital for a yet to be announced JV or expansion through company acquisition.
In any event congratulations to management on a job well done. What a nice surprise and into the upcoming inevitable market summer doldrms, how gutsy is that?
Sorry guys still unable to post without it costing a small fortune but count on this. I'm holding until this stock finally realizes it's JUST valuation. By the look of today's PR that day is much closer than yesterday GOD SPEED. Good luck to all longs.

Thanks Mike,
I get the sense that Yaacov is sitting on a monstrous pile of orders probably to large to produce right now think a sec, the state department is shuttling orders to other countries DHS GSA DEA and of course many other large order opportunities now present themselves.
So my take is with many government offices soon going " on vacation " fed contracting functionality will steadily slow to a trickle until September and markets resume trading. That would be a great time to release some impressive financials and take a shot at fully reporting IMHO !!!
Appreciate I am not berating progress it's really looking terrific but common sense and experience now remind me fed funding activity will gradually bog down in market summer doldrums. Could be wrong here but usually the case...of course the whole world won't just US FEDS I refer to at this time. G2CU :~)

In many ways, gotta pinch myself
It seems IDTA to all intents and purposes has been inducted into what has been referred to as the government octopus. Make certain you understand AND appreciate what a fine line Yaacov must now tread. On one hand he must honour any contract protocols on the other he needs to communicate effectively with shareholders. TALL ORDER.
My concern is the CEO does not abuse one responsibility {shareholder/CEO interaction} for {secrecy} as this has been known to happen all to often as a CEO becomes more comfortable within the octopus. So far Yaacov is getting top marks from this poster all I'm saying is I'm watching closely for the CEO to remain communicable and approachable which is very much in his best interests.
Cheers... Rich

They do offer free real time for NYSE AMEX OTC & OTCBB plus TSE & Montreal will update about CNQ but I have to say a pretty good deal from a Canadian broker for a nice change. The rest are so restrictive and fussy MY GOD it pains me to think how many trade opportunities I lost with AmeriTrade Canada at least now that is being dovetailed into GreenLine.
