In my opinion, Chile is leaning towards the US.

Whereas Bolivia and Argentina are leaning towards China.

Thanks for posting about the webinar. My biggest takeaway; get the hydrology of the individual Salar correct, including the location of the re injection site of the spent brine. Not sure how qualified/ experienced burba is on this.
Codelco wants to get into the lithium play in Chile
Codelco, a Chilean state miner and the world's leading copper producer, has applied for environmental permits to start exploration activities within a lithium reservoir in the Salar Maricunga located in Atacama, Chile.

Btw, the webinar is out
Lol. I guess they are scaling the unit up to commercial production standards?
Let’s get this show on the road! Lilac will be in our back yard.

Thx tc. Never stop learning. I am here because I’m bullish on IBAT and lithium in South America. I have other investments.
Integra Seeks To Buy Russian Refinery Close To Ukraine Rebels
Small Swiss-registered trader Integra SA, headed by former Deutsche Bank executive Michael Maltzoff, is understood to be seeking finance to acquire a Russian refinery close to Russian-backed rebels areas of Eastern Ukraine. The company, which has operations based in Moscow, was in talks with a number of banks and investors in February and March, but these were interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic and Maltzoff himself was thought to have been ill with COVID-19. The talks may resume soon, a source says.
There is speculation that Matlzoff, who is sometimes resident in Spain as well as Switzerland, is backed by a Russian oligarch and may be pursuing the refinery to supply Russian rebels with automotive fuels and other products. Apart from the refinery project, Matzoff has held talks on oil supply with Iran and has also taken an interest in lithium.

Love reading these articles. The whole industry is going to change down there.
This could be very good timing for Ibat... if they ever get a unit deployed down there!

https://www.mining.com/web/chile-judge-calls-for-water-study-on-fragile-lithium-rich-atacama-salt-flat/
Why does Ibat have 2 Facebook pages? Anyhow they both have been gaining “likes” every day or two for the past few weeks.
This will be interesting. Thanks. I have the date marked
Actually this guy Luis Arce is a supporter of deposed Bolivian president evo morales and a socialist so more than likely when he says “world class companies” he means China. Gotta love Bolivian politics right? https://www.globalresearch.ca/elon-musk-confesses-lithium-coup-bolivia/5719776

Beaty is another Swiss investor. It shares the same address as this company.

TC, you may already know this connection
https://ch.linkedin.com/in/michael-maltzoff-6675a677
So Integra Energy Group AG is connected to Ensorcia Lithium, the question is whether Beaty Limited is connected to Ensorcia?
It is interesting to me that Daniel Layton “liked” this article on his linked in account. https://www.benchmarkminerals.com/membership/bolivia-presidential-candidate-luis-arce-outlines-lithium-first-industrial-strategy-benchmark-advising-on-commercial-strategy/
“Under a Luis Arce Presidency, Bolivia will partner with world-leading companies to harness the value of our abundant lithium resources to create jobs and improve the economic welfare for all Bolivians.“
If this guy could get in, Bolivia would be a huge untapped opportunity for Ensorcia and Ibat. IBATs tech would be a perfect fit for Bolivia because the evaporation rates are not the same (lower) for conventional processes as they are in Chile and Argentina. The election is in October.
Ya. Refer to post 676
Another possibility is they are waiting for news that the unit is being shipped to Chile. Then, coupled with patent news, the price rises and they announce a Large round of private placement. Just a thought.
http://desarrolloenergetico.hernandobry.com/ensorcia-negocia-un-prestamo-de-usd-220-millones-para-un-proyecto-de-litio-en-chile/
Old article similar to the el Mercado article. It mentions the Fluor corporation as the possible contractor for the Chile project
It’s a testing company across many industries.

On the contrary, if the patents do not get approved, a buyout or merger with terralithium could be on the table because they own the patent ibat has to overcome. It may make more sense to join them rather than pay a royality to them. They would be interested because ibat already did the engineering on the unit.
They could print more shares so management could take larger percentage ownership in the company at lower prices right before the merger. According to this link, https://webfiles.thecse.com/CSE_Form_9_28.pdf?iCQWXJ2u8d8D3jxN7kuRji242ofmHxNA, Burba owns about 4,000,000 shares or about 6%. You could be right, but IBAT really hasnt accomplished anything in its whole existence. Why wouldnt have Burba stayed with SAL, got the patent granted, then merged or sold it and have a much larger percentage?
I think IBAT took a hit with shareholder relations when david scott resigned. He was the only one who would reply to my emails and answer some questions. Now their email doesnt even go through.
Why not print a boat load of more shares if a merger was in the plans?
I am expecting some patent news 5-6 months after the original rejection so that would put us late August or September. As for the delay, I would say the pandemic set us back 3 months. That is based on the beginning of the pandemic and when Ensorcia advanced the funds to Boston technology consultants for further testing.
I am waiting to see if liacf can hold $1. zero revenue thus far and 41 million warrants @.39. Lithium Americas is the major claystone lithium player right now. We shall see.
Nice maybe burba needs to go on there
It’s is worth noting that chemphys only has a stake in sorcia minerals llc, not Ensorcia Argentina llc (EAL). IBAT has a 10% stake in both.
Chemphys is trying out multiple new technologies. That’s where burbas experience will pay off.
So is Ricardo Donoso out then?
Did you watch this podcast before I discovered the Chemphys connection? She talks about Chemphys looking for partnerships and new technologies.
I believe you are correct.

Excellent choice. I added more shares too. Another interesting point in the podcast was when they discussed how investment banks are reluctant to invest in new lithium extraction technologies until they are proven to work. That is why the sorcia agreement is huge for IBAT. It’s almost like they are paying IBAT to see if the technology works. And if it proves to be a commercial success then we all better hang on.
Yes they spoke very highly of burba. Were they referencing burba when they were talking about lithium expertise and stated “ With the possible exception of one mutual friend of ours?” Thanks for sharing
Burba bought 470,000 securities in the latest round of private placement.
https://webfiles.thecse.com/CSE_Form_9_28.pdf?iCQWXJ2u8d8D3jxN7kuRji242ofmHxNA
It’s a good thing to have a lithium products producer on board at sorcia. It will provide more price stability
